My main worry would be for your safety if you told people you are a teen. Also you know it's against tos for someone else to ask if you are, right? Just so you know that. But a decent person with no bad motives wouldn't probably care what age you are. We are all just pixels here in Second Life. Unless you are someone who only talks about (your) real life or the other person is someone who only talks about theirs. (Then you might run into "we have nothing in common.") PS I'm an adult since a long time ago.

I really think something should be done about obvious attempts to drive neighbors out like these are. It isn't right.

I don't like when people do that. They are using sim resources. Even if they think they are beautifying it or not hurting anything not everyone's idea of beauty and no harm is the same. And it is against the TOS so just AR it.

That isn't the AO fault that is the jacket. Wear something under it or wear the alpha with it like Amethyst said & it should be OK.

The other trend along with T Rex arms is Invisible Pony Rider hips. And scowling fish mouth.

For mesh stuff I hear Wasabi Pills does good hair, Ironik Kitties has some free stuff on Marketplace and LeeZu has some mesh clothes. I'm not sure of other places.

I like the idea of going different places. The birthday sims are usually so laggy I can't move. Spread the wealth.

When I was trying to sell some land and it was really slow, I tried an ad. It mostly got me weird responses like "want to buy some Stiletto Moodys cheap?" (reported them for copybotting after some friends checked out their 'store' - they were still in search six months later) or "hey baby." I asked why they IMd and they said they saw my ad. Okay, wonderful. Some would ask me to come show them the land, I would and they'd hit on me. I finally sold the land after I removed the ads and dropped the prices. I don't recommend ads.

The worst one has to be an IM just saying "Hi" and nothing else. Waiting...waiting...thinking, yes what did you want? Silence. It's only clear it was a pickup attempt based on his being naked with a big prim stuck on front.

Maybe it is true that Second Life is a social experiment and this is another part of it. Maybe there is a law coming about user names not resembling real names, who knows.

If a really BASIC photo studio is enough I might have a full perm freebie one I can send you. A legal freebie. It fits in my Linden home and is under 10 prim I think. It is just some prims and a pose stand.

No idea how they choose what is hot. I hope it involves actually going there first. I hope they have alts that go to a lot of places and list what they liked best. I hope it isn't based on traffic because there are still a lot of places with bots running. Or tons of "models."

I understand and I wasn't disagreeing with you, just pointing out that we can't assume a person does their due diligence or isn't a newbie who doesn't know the difference.

Nothing in that story would've been any different if they had privacy checked or unchecked. In your story he only fooled her after he logged off and then logged in on an alt. She didn't know about the alt so what difference would privacy on or off mean to that story? Luckily the Lindens see that the whole SLuniverse should not have to pay for the cheating jerks out there. And by the way he could've been playing all three avs for all you know. A lot of people partner themselves. If you meet a rabidly promiscuous "lesbian" in SL especially if nothing she wears is quality or matches anything else on her body you can probably wager it is a guy in real life. I'm not talking about transsexual I'm not talking about a real lesbian, I'm talking about a male with male hormones seeking as many women for quickies, as he can, using a female av to do it. It is pretty transparent once your eyes are open to look for that. They really don't fool anybody but newbies.

Is it too big? Are you trying to rez it outside and it's overlapping onto Linden land? There are two people with huge megaprim eyesores on top of the rooves of their Linden homes in my Linden home neighborhood and multiple ARs go unresolved. Please do not rez it on your roof or outside.
