  1. Get your trigger fingers ready Victorian seekers! I'm releasing one of my alts homes with absolutely stunning water views in Beaux Armes in a few minutes. House is last home on dead end street, with the backyard overlooking the sea below. Even has a bridge in the distance! Hike down the hill, and you will find a bench set up courtesy of the Moles with sweeping views of Grote Dijk island. With some minimal derendering you'll have an even better view than the one already there. Also has fantastic amount of hydrangea out front along with a nice brick fence. Have had this one for a long while, wasn't going to ever give it up but haven't had the time to decorate it so I've decided to pass it along to someone who hasn't been able to get one yet and will love it as much as I have. Shall hit "abandon" at 3:35pm SLT! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Beaux Armes/235/18/32 (Do I earn my realtor's license with this?)
  2. It's SO different from all the other places I have. Ghosty popped over and he's pretty jealous of this one. It already has so much landscaping in the back, not much is needed at all. Going to make this woodsy and simple. Stick a bunch of birds and wildlife into it
  3. Got one in Thunderhead - had NO idea it was a new release! Really gorgeous, private property. Feels like a large park. Winding sidewalk leading to the house, tucked away, can barely even see it from the street. Railroad tracks out front too. I love this. Def keeping. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Thunderhead/89/241/51
  4. And tossed back one in Gridlock. Another across from train tracks. Not bad, really treat step treatment just not what I want
  5. Picked up a Traditional in Wooremal. Across from train tracks but I let it go.
  6. I actually derendered the entire trailer across the "bay" so my view would be better LOL But yea, it's pretty perfect there.
  7. @Chloe Dolores Had not been to my (alt's) trailer in Saltmarsh in a while and decided to work on it last night. Noticed we're next door neighbors 😘
  8. That fountain IS exquisite. I had landed a home that butted up to it ages ago - except that you could not see it at all which gave me a sad Even with a lot of derendering. So let the house go.
  9. Yep, person that got it is only 2 months old. I kind of like that someone that young got such a nice spot.
  10. About to abandon a Victorian in Morgall. Across the street from the water, no houses there. A very nice area, corner lot. You'll have good views with a bit of derendering. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Morgall/237/38/32 I love it, just really don't need it and want to open a slot for the eventual new homes that will be coming up. Will release at 7:35pm SLT a few minutes from now!
  11. Alt picked up a weird trad lot in Anati. Gorgeous, amazing water views, sandy/grassy land but it's like the Moles totally forgot to landscape the property. Not a speck of green except one sad little tree in the back and a huge hedge between the house and the one next door. Plus the rear yard consisted of an enormous, imposing sandy hill and rocks. It did have good privacy but I just couldn't decide if it was worth keeping, leaning to it being a "maybe" until I saw the dragon rezzer next door AND dozens of hearts being rezzed from a Valentine's Day card that was still sitting outside the house. Oh and a Doberman running around the yard and their tv blaring unwatched. So. Nope. Abandoned. Buyer beware.
  12. That's so funny - when I saw her photo pop up on Flickr the other day I wrote the same thing to her
  13. Tropical would be a dream to me. I have an inventory full of flamingos. Can't well place them on a Victorian front yard - someone is bond to AR me for that 😉
  14. It's by Tartessos Arts, Chef's Kitchen. It's a full pack, comes with a ton of stuff - and it's color change. However, I have to say the counter texture's are not fantastic. I have a feeling this is an older product but it does the job. I'm going to attempt to try my own texture on it - you can select face on the object so I'm going to experiment on it at some point. The stools were from another set I have that I recolored - off hand I can't remember which one though. I seem to remember I didn't like the ones that came with that kitchen set for some reason or another. The tiles are from another creator - again off hand not sure the name. If you want the name, I'll get it next time I log in.
  15. In photography, it's "color walks" - going out and saying you're going to look for a specific color to shoot that day
  16. Exactly. Could have wound up being Boudoir inspired too
  17. I've been playing catch and release with houseboats for a while now. I had my original one for months but finally gave it up because I didn't like the orientation of it. The next few, bad neighbors. Finally thought I'd found the perfect spot but when I decided to try out one of the other models (I've been in a Windlass rut) I realized that all the other ones faced the wrong way - not having the good side face west was a downfall for me. By chance the next one I got had the right orientation for every model I'd want and has the privacy factor I crave as well so hopefully I'll hold onto this one for a while. Today, I started to really work on decorating it, it's been sitting there for at least a week now but I made really fast progress on it going in a completely different direction then I am used to doing I'm nowhere near done yet, bathroom needs to be done as well as outdoor areas but I still have a ton of prims left so this should be pretty easy, even with some of what I used already being a bit more primmy than I normally would use.
  18. I frequently just don't do anything and let it sit empty for a while until I genuinely feel inspired to work on it. The inspiration can come from anywhere. I follow a lot of RL decorating accounts on Instagram for instance . There are many that specialize in small spaces. Even still I might see something and let it gel in my head for a bit. Or, start working on it and as it goes along, rework the idea completely that I'd seen to suit my own needs and aesthetic. A trick I use for myself is to pick a word and go through my inventory and just grab items with that one word or variations of it. For instance, I started on my houseboat which had been laying empty for a while. I decided "red' was my prompt. Started pulling objects and as I started decorating other words occurred to me that I built on. Rattan. Moroccan. Tile. Lacquer. And so forth. So this is where I am now, not done yet but got pretty far in a few hours and direction is firmly set.
  19. I'm home tomorrow for the holiday. Getting the car checked in the morning but will be around later on. IM me if you need help shopping!
  20. Ugh Ghosty just reminded me that they won't fit because you don't have a mesh body. I think you're going to have to at least do that - Maitreya is the most popular and nearly all creators make clothing for it. It was also just (finally) updated too. For a head, you really need to do a lot of demos. Lelutka, Genus, Catwa are the top three but there are others. HUDS can be varying in levels of difficulty to understand too. Lelutka, honestly, is the easiest IMHO and the new Evolution line is exceptionally good.
