This. I was literally stalked daily by someone back then - which began for no reason. A very well known trouble-maker. It even spilled over to Ghosty. I got so disgusted I left this forum for an enormous amount of time. Found a safer place and made more friends there. Then this person followed me to the new forum and began to harass me again. Luckily, that one wasn't run by LL and the persons reputation followed with them. Said person was banned nearly immediately. Those people had my back completely. I didn't come back here until I found out said person was no longer active in SL. It's been a nice experience here since then, with arguments few and far between.

Oh gurl. You should have experienced it years ago. It was brutal at times. The current version we're using is much tamer. More rules and regulations and the mods pay closer attention than they used to.

I joined the forums because when I first joined SL in 2007, everywhere I went in world was empty and I couldn't figure out why. I needed answers to this burning question: Where is everyone? Well I found out and then some. Was totally entertained by the people I met in the old version of the forum (well, most there are always some people who are a PITA). So much fun, flirtation and friendship evolved out of being there. I stayed away for a long while but came back. I like this type of communication/sharing.

I did the same a few days ago. I'd gotten one with water on 2 sides in a region I'd been eyeing a long time ago. I had another Trad, on a large river leading out to open waters that I let go for that one. I loved the other one, but the new one was way more private, which I always appreciate.

Bringing back Donna's jewelry was a labor of love. She passed quite a while ago and from what I remember there was a call for anyone who had pieces to contact the people who were recreating them for sale again. Very unique creations. I had originals but sadly had purged inventory some years back and those went in the bin with all else because they looked so dated to me. And then they were resurrected. I bought a couple of them when the new store reopened. By coincidence to your mentioning this, I had tried to TP there a week or so ago and alas, the shop seems to be gone. Here's one of creations that I picked up last year. Truly she was an artist and you can be sure I won't be discarding this on my next inventory purge

The Babyface analogy is very appropriate. It's why at first I wasn't sure but as promised the sliders are extremely flexible and I managed to get it to look not quite as je-jeune. Once I added the "Mature" appearance on top of it, was certainly more towards what I'm used to. Lake still gives me the older look I prefer but I'm a head whore so I'll use Fleur too, depending on what I need it for. I never really gravitated to Babyface, though I love Strong and used it primarily until the Evo heads came on the market. Lake, reminds me more of that one.

This region is where my houseboat is. It's quite nice and quiet too. No junky stuff that I've seen on anyone's home yet

New Fleur out today. I still like Lake better though. I had to tweak this one quite a bit to get it to where I thought it looked right. For me anyway. Lips/eyes needed corrections. I dislike lips which are too full particularly so that needed a lot of work on the slider. She also looked a bit too young for my tastes but again, this can be changed easily. The head IS very responsive to slider changes which is a plus. I also found some appliers just didn't do it justice but it isn't like I don't have a ton of them and did find one I liked (The Skinerry, Shara in Toffee) with some other BOM changes (different brows helped). I'll probably keep playing with it; eventually I'm sure I'll manage to get it to a point where I'm pleased with the result. This isn't a bad start and I'm sure I'm being super picky

I thought I saw you on the property leaving. I'm so sorry you missed out on it but that's the problem with trying to pass houses It never really seems to work - with so little available out there right now and so many looking, it's probably impossible for anyone to accomplish that. I haven't committed to keeping it, though. If I decided to let it go I'll contact you directly ❤️

Just happened to click with an alt for the first time in days and wound up with a lake front Trad in Oldbridge. I'd been eyeing that region a while ago and this particular lot is very nice, with side and back water views. Holding on to it for now but that means I need to let go of something else as I don't have the time for too many houses right now. I think there's a log house I can give up - gotta go inworld and see who owns it!

I think I had that house many months ago. I'ts a fabulous location!
