Deutsch and Dutch are different countries and languages: Deutch is Germany, Dutch is Holland ;-). There used to be a pretty active Dutch forum up to a couple of years ago but that doesn't exist anymore. I doubt if they know how to use any features in SL at all.

All logging on in phoenix mode does is changing preferences so the viewer looks as much as the Phoenix viewer did as possible. It's just coincedence that you could get online after changing it, as you found out when you crashed. We now all know the reason for the grid problems. Have fun!

Top right of the picture there's a small envelope with 99+, those are uncleared notices. Right click it and choose close all. That should solve it

Tis isn't part of the viewer but has to do with NVidia shadowplay. If you Google "how to remove NVidia shadowplay" gives several sites and videos on the subject.

It would be nice, there's still plenty of Dutch/Belgian people that have problems with understanding English. If you're using Firestorm, there's a Dutch support group as well!

Firestorm has an inworld support group, available in several languages. Other viewers have support groups too. If you have a problem, best is to ask in those groups as people there know about the viewer and the common issues. Have fun!

There are more avatars in your inventory. Open your inventory and go to library, clothing, older outfits. Drag the folder from your inventory upon your avatar. As far as I remember there are only wherewolfs in the avatars provided so if you want an avatar like a dog, a horse or an elephant you have to buy it or create it yourself.

try demos before you decide, there's a lot of difference in apearance! If there's no demo available, don't buy!

So what? You can still look as good as you want and friends can choose to render you fully if they want to .Apart from a general setting there's also a per avatar setting. If your avatar compexity is very high I may choose to render you as jellydoll becuase I do not want you lagging me. It's all about choices and this feature helps you make those choices! It's a dynamic setting, if I go to a full shopping event I choose to set my slider as low as possible, I'm there to shop and don't need to see all the other avatars. I put my slider higher if I'm at a place with less avatars. If you want to complain at all, go to the creators who made the items that make your complexity count way up and ask them if they can maybe remake their items. Or just embrace the new feature and be greatfull you now have the power to reduce lag!

Appliers are only needed when you want to change somethingso they take up one xlot at a time. Goes for the clothes as well as the Omega applier Loose the facelight, it's useless. Other avatars may have turned off seeing them alltogether, find a better windlight setting loose the heels sound prim, it's useless well aligned hands and feet, plus a shape adapted to them (see the creator notecards for sizes) hardly leave a gap, no need for cuffs for that If you use the Firestorm AO you don't need a hud anymopre (there are classes that'll teach you how to set it up) Tongue and hud? You realy use it all the time? If you onkly use it for photos you can detach them 5 slots for lashes? Shop for a better looking pair that only uses 1 slot. Ye they are out there! It's all a matter of choice realy, instead of using a seperate body, feet and hands you can also look at a full body. You can realy look nice with much less slots.

Avatar age is the amount of days you're avatar has been since registering. So no, you can't change that. It has nothing to do with the looks of your avatar, you can make an avatar look any age, from baby to old. I hope this helps!

Most mesh bodies, heads, hairs or clothes come with working demos. I refuse to buy anything unless I've been able to try them out!

If you're on Ziggo (Dutch ISP) then there's been problems the last few days, they wer nder ddos attack. It seems to be solved now.

If you become premium and pay yearly you can get a tierfree 512m2 plot. Even more if you donate it to a group! That way you pay yearly plus a one time price for the land. It all depends on what you want. Sandboxes can be used for building (free) and there's a lt of places that are almost empty if you want some peace and quiet
