First I would like to say that I do enjoy shopping inworld, but my laptop is rather limited. Shopping inworld and waiting for several minutes for one wall of items to load is just... Painful. This is just a followup rant to my complaint that I can't find stuff in Marketplace search. My first rant was that I couldn't search for a blue shirt because creators use too many different names for blue. If a creator wants me to find their great shirt (in any shade of blue), they should make it show in search for "Blue shirt" This rant is because it is so time consuming to find new hair. I just want a quick overview of some of the new hairstyles available, but when I sort by Age:Newest First I have to look at 30 of the exact same hairstyle in 30 different colors and fatpacks. Would it be so hard to combine all the colors into one page. If I like the style, I will check out what other colors are available. As it is, I can have 96 items on a page and only 3 hairstyles represented. I do a lot of RL online shopping and nearly every store I visit has 1 item pictured and you open that page to see the colors available. Is Marketplace just not set up for a feature like this? It seems like a standard sorting feature... I know efficiency is not an LL goal, but still... Rant over for now.

I am looking for blended animals to wander around my platform or just stand there and look good. I have a jackalope, a snakegoat, a sea monster in the pond. I even stuck Gmok the Wise in the yard even though he isn't really what I was looking for. I am open to any kind of blend - fish with legs, bats with extra arms, flying frogs - you get the idea. Mythical creatures might work gryphons, chthulus... Something 3D that is not too cartoony. There are some interesting looking Gorean animals, but I just can't bring myself to put something like that out. Just to be thorough and clear, here is what I am NOT looking for: Nothing that has to be carried in any way Nothing that has to be worn in any way (shoulder pets and followers etc.) I don't want to ride it I don't want to breed it (or feed it or talk to it or pet it) I don't want a flat 2D item

I placed a kudo on a now missing pic as well, but I had the ability to put it on a new pic when I logged back into the contest. Edited to fix a certain amount of redundancy.

They are probably there, but hidden from feed view. You may be able to view them by looking at your snapshots page: https://my.secondlife.com/oliviajean/snapshots You can still save them to your computer or send the pic address to someone else to view.

You can make copies for your own use, but you cannot transfer them to others. The modifying means you can change the length of the shirt, the sleeves, the neck opening, possibly the color - it will always be a skin tight fitting shirt though.

It has been a while since I visited. Everyone's pics are great and I am jealous of your computers. I have a couple to add (even if I can't compete with the quality of the rest of the thread) 1 - Found a this place on a hunt and true to form got completely distracted from hunting... Oh well, I had fun... Oh, and before you laugh - yes, I thought the skirt was too revealing and put on a pair of shorts underneath :smileytongue: 2 - A friend took me too a place called Happy Mood. My computer was not cooperating at the time, so it took more than an hour to get the picture I wanted to post to the feeds. (Can we all say PITA perfectionist?) So I am darn well going to post it somewhere else.

I am not a tech genius or anything, but if your friend is wearing the item, can't he/she right click to edit and look in Contents to see if any scripts are inside it? Hopefully someone more knowledgable will come along and have better advice.

:matte-motes-frown: We are censored in here ( also known as moderation). I hear the feeds are the place to go if you want to "spout off at the mouth" - there is no moderation there. Although - if it is drama you are after, you can check out the General Discussion Forum and look for some hyper-sensitive responses to innocent questions. At first I thought this post was about whether there was freedom to express a religious view in SL. Then I thought it was about cyberbullying, then about our unalienable Rights as US citizens, then maybe about your path to finding peace with your god. There is way too much to touch on without writing my own book. You are free to think as you will, accept that not everyone will agree and be happy you are able to be yourself somewhere. I volunteer in real life all the time (I require it of my kids too) Between the 4 of us we logged in over 1000 hours last year. I am volunteering for the first time in SL for the SL9B events coming up. Sounds like a fun time!

Real me and SL me... I actually tried to look like real me, but I do not own any pets in SL and probably never will. Oh, and you will not catch me wearing a dress in RL either, but I wear them in SL all the time - heels too. I am pretty happy in both lives:
