  1. And i'll bet you were never stuck for things to talk about, either!
  2. Well, perhaps i'm being dense but how on earth did you accidentally "end up with" a lover? Do you mean a girlfriend? I'm still not really getting it.
  3. i seem to always change my ava to many different groups. Oh, you sound like me! I do a lot of different looks -- grunge/dolly/steampunk/fairy/eccentric/naturist haha When i'm next inworld (later today) i'll drop you some LM's for some cool hair stores.
  4. @ Drex ~ smiles at "your (sic) off topic and don't matter". Too funny! I like the rest, though.
  5. I have a bunch of LMs for all the quirky stores i like. I could send you a bunch or stick them on a notecard, if you prefer. The real difficulty is in not knowing exactly the kind of thing you're looking for. For example, what sort of hair are you looking for? Could you give us more of an idea so we can help you? :matte-motes-grin:
  6. @ Qwalify Yes, i agree. I don't think they'd kick off about it, do you? :smileyvery-happy: (And i didn't mean to imply that tinies aren't important, too).
  7. Well, if i had my choice, fashion would be (re?)absorbed into 'My Avatar' and music & entertainment would be filed under 'Events', along with sports. At the very least i'd recommend eliminating the sports sub-category. It seems such a niche interest (in SL). I mean, why sports, especially? May as well have a category for, i dunno... SL modeling or Tinies. It just seems silly to me. Favourite destinations should simply be called 'Destinations'. I think it could be opened out a bit, but not sure how. Not sure about the Mainland sub-forum. Part of me wants it kicked; part of me doesn't. Mainland has the fabulous long roads and the airspace, but half of us don't live on it so why have a whole category devoted to it? Those are my initial thoughts, take 'em or leave 'em. I'm sure we all have different ideas about what we'd like to see here.
  8. What do you mean exactly? Please explain. :matte-motes-asleep-2:
  9. Sending you something inworld that will hopefully sort you out. :matte-motes-smile:
  10. Log into Viewer 2 and check the "wearing" or "worn" tab. You may see something there that you don't recognise under 'bodyparts'. It will be called 'ruthshape' or something like that. It's either a hairbase or a shape, can't remember which. It's something that Phoenix creates, anyhow. Whilst in V2 you need to remove that from your avie and delete it. Then log back into Phoenix and rebake, etc. I'll try to find a link for you with more information on this. One more little tip: Sounds silly, i know, but have you tried changing eyebrows? This often works for me and my friends; no idea why, but it does.
  11. I think it is all relative anyhow. What one person may consider "a lot of" money in SL wouldn't keep someone else in shoes for a month. I'm sure there are a select few who are extremely good at what they do, and have regular customers because of that. Most of those who describe themselves as escorts are not of that ilk.
  12. @ Canoro I haven't seen these ones before. Thanks for explaining what they do. Can you tell me if there is a downside at all? Do you need an absolute top-notch machine to make these changes worthwhile? Also, could you clarify which one it is that do you change to 2147483648? (I'm a bit confused with that part).
  13. @ Rhonda Hi, Rhonda. What does the 'RenderAgentClothing' one do? Thanks.
  14. A lot of people use the word 'fun' in their profiles as some sort of euphemism for sex. Are you aware of this?
  15. @ Marlette There's a need for it, undoubtedly. In fact, speaking as a human avie, it'd be great to find a naturist sim that (a) welcomed all, and (b) was devoid of the "free sex can be got here" tarnish that spoils so many of the human naturist sims. Hey, I may even have seen you at WC! :smileytongue:

  17. @ Ian Wings are ok and (i think) tails at Wild Coast. Non-human avies are not allowed. I believe there is -- or was -- a sign in the welcome area to that effect. Eta: I also witnessed a blue skinned chap being ejected. Whether this was on account of his blueness or because he was behaving like a 'jackass' in the pejorative sense, i couldn't say.
  18. Oh, my goodness. So many to choose from. Perhaps i'll pick one. Uhm. Just wanted to say before i slip away again, no prizes for who's used to be the most annoying. *ducks and runs*
  19. A couple of days ago my SL friend lost her kittycat (one of those breedable cats, quite cute). He was nowhere. That night i dreamt we found him under a chair (at which point he transmuted into an RL cat, but forget that bit). Next day he was nowhere to be seen in Phoenix, but he turned up in her Lost and Found in V2. This is by no means an ad for V2; however, i did find it interesting that he didn't show up in Phoenix. Anyhow, we were just pleased that he was returned to her safe and sound, and none the worse for his adventure. :smileyhappy:
  20. When it comes to buying shoes with huds, it really doesn't do to skimp on the price. I know this from my recent experience. The shoe itself may look good but if there's a cheap hud inside it, things can go wrong. I don't buy from the likes of Stiletto Moody (yet!) but i'm steering clear of anything below at least mid-range price. Purrfect 10 do a good shoe with hud for approximately L600. Anything with a hud that comes in below that price, and i'll tend to question the quality. Of course, it would depend on the brand and their reputation, also. I find Gos and Kalnins to be very reliable.
  21. It hurts to lose a friend. She was so beautiful. I don't think any SL cat could come even close.
  22. I wouldn't say anything. How do we know they won't figure it out for themselves and make the necessary tweaks? Funnily enough, it's taken me nearly 2 years to notice that my own avie has a thick waist. For about 2 seconds i considered rectifying it and then decided not to. Perfection is over-rated.
  23. Update: Ok, i got it sorted out. In the case of the better shoes, it was me not doing it right. In the case of the cheaper shoes, i ditched them. All's well. :smileytongue:
