  1. Prankster Rookie: Banned from a parcel for pranking as a Bible preaching werewolf in a nun's costume in a busy Zindra sim Pransker Intermediate: Because words spreads fast, I was banned in several other Adult parcels Pranskter Advance: Banned by LL for walking around in Zindra with a profile saying, "I'm here to spy on my RL cheating husband. Don't you think I don't know about it. You will hear from my lawyer very soon". I only survived two days with that account.

  4. Local chat clutters my view and sometimes when I'm concentrating on something the texts appearing out from nowhere just annoys me. Besides, you can't tell when the other person is replying to you or not if you do not have your typing AO activated. In IMs I can choose when to open and read it and I know when the person is about to reply to me. I also prefer the privacy, if I want to local chat is because there will be more than one person that wants to listen to me or that I'm roleplaying or when I'm fighting with a teenager. I also do not think my neighbours/nearby listeners would appreciate it to know what part of my body is being sextext'd by another avatar in a place where we do not have a parcel control. I also save IMs for later references, more for sentimental values.
  5. Except for griefers at Goguen, I have not been using my block list much. Interestingly I get muted (or banned) a lot for being honest and blunt ... or when I told them to ... excuse my word... F.O. But, I am happy that the one person whom I care enough has forgiven and unmuted me. The rest of them? I just assumed that the issue is them and not me.
  6. WOooohooo... a Motorcycle thread! Unfortunately, I only have these in my album. This Ape Hanger is not mine, I will need to come back someday with me on my Juggernaut. @Vladi: I've seen some really good cars you have there. I will need to visit your sim again.
  7. I 'detoxified' myself once or twice a year as part of my mental health maintainance program. Right now I'm on SL-Diet plan for a month. My home is currently Computer and Internet free and I still have 14 more days to go. To be honest, it feels a whole lot better not to sit in front of the computer for hours wasting my life away when there are so many things I could accomplished. At 34, and physically fortunate, I should be out there climbing Mt. Everest or something. But I'm lazy, plus Mt Everest is too cold. So instead I just settle for a visit to the local spa and a short vacation. So taking a break from SL is highly recommended. Or you could do something like what I did. Canceled my account, went on months of hiatus and come back fresh with a new account. You'll build your way up again only this time using a completely different method from last time. That probably would generate a new interest in you.
  8. A cosmetic surgeon once told me that the perfect breast size is the one that fits in your mate's hand.
  9. I'd like to give you a kudo but they don't have one here. Certainly looks way better than the ones I've seen on youtube. Are those lashes prims or mesh?
  10. Jumpy will have one less person to stalk play pranks with. His criminal rating will go down.
  11. I need a landmark...I've heard of it and yet I've never been there before.. I need a good blind rampant raging shooting in kamikaze kind of way...
  12. Forgoodness sake!! Don't believe anything Rudolphony said... How many Firestorm users will know that feature if it exist anyway? He's just trying to mess with your head.. and you are just sinking it all in. Maya, don't bring your past into SL... No one is *violating* you in any sense. Unless your skin was specifically made by/for you there are about 1000 users of Male and Female out there that has worn and seen the naked bits of your type of skin. You are safe in SL. If a man or woman avatar started talking 'crazy' to you... Let them get into it and then somewhere along the line, mention to them that you are really a man in RL and would like to take him/her from behind.. that should fixed them right!
  13. What Ceka said! And I am volunteering myself if you need more than a person to help you. I'm serious...
  14. You are right on this... and that is why I think Sonja has some admirable atitudes when it comes to making the best of her experience in here. She doesn't give up and she isn't bitter. She has hopes that one day she will find that she's looking for. And that wise woman is so right too... I think the true test of a real friendships are the ones that are willing to forgive each other. If we couldn't look past that then perhaps the friendship was purely superficial if in the first place anyway... One thing about me that probably a lot of people who knew me beyond my forum persona had noticed while I can be an interesting and fun to be as a friend, my affections & loyalty are 'interactively conditional' ... kinda like "be nice to me and i'll be nice to you" sort of way.
  15. Have we just become the forum bullies? Are we witnessing another possible avacide? Is there a redemption plan to bring back Mayalily into the forums and in Second Life? I'm SORRY, Mayalily... Please don't do anything stupid.. ok!? My offer of consolation still stands.
  16. I am going to disagree with you. I've met more good people than bad people. Your problem is that you expect too much from everyone and in return unwilling to give and let it be. The OP feels that she made the wrong choice. In some ways I can relate her to you. She has expectations and her expectations were not fullfilled. I see nothing wrong there and I see nothing wrong with you wanting to have a certain level of consistency in your SL life. Heck, I dig 'Consistency'... it sooths my soul. You have seen so much and experienced a lot. Having your mind reformatted back to factory settings can sometimes be good for you too. In fact that's what we all should have that from time to time... rebooting back to the newbie days and be amazed again at what SL and it's occupants. If only we can turn back time...
  17. Hehe.. Bandito, I like how you think... clearly the opposite of me. I find solitude in the confine of my own privacy. I hide and run from risks because I know it's best for me... and yet, a lot of time I'll surprised myself with my impulsiveness by jumping into a sticky situation and will be kicking my own ass for what I had done. I have hurt people and lost a good friend because of that. Live and Learn that's what I had been told...
  18. I knew this would happen...!! I did asked you, Maya... Look, if it makes you feel better how about I offer you a 3 free months stay in a 512sqm with 117 prim allowance (or possibly more) in undisclosed area of mine over in Mainland? I'll help you move in too if you want and you'll have the land setting of invisibility on your avatar. The moving and redecorating of your new house would not take long... if you let me help you. For up to 84.2% of total privacy, I could also make you a small platform up in the sky where very few avatars could go in and you will be in your own world. No neighbours or unwanted visitors unless you give them the LM. 3 months should be good enough for you to recover from the trauma you are having right now. So just let me know.
  19. I honestly do not see anything wrong on people who are obviously lonely and looking for a little glimpse of fulfillment. Perhaps the reason why someone is lonely in RL is because they did not have a choice like what she/he would get in SL. What I don't get is people who claimed that they are happily fullfilled in RL and yet the things that they did in SL were clearly the opposite. At least the OP is being honest about it. Many of us are in denial. Many of us had become numb, weary and a little bit bitter...
  20. FYI + Disclaimer (just in case we all get AR'd for trespassing): I did asked for Maya's permission to perv her house and she said yes. I'm cleared against all violations.
  21. It was looonnngggg journey walk to you home, Maya. The answer is yes... I spied inside your house. You have one hell of a nice bed though... I liked it! Oh and it was very comfy too... I'll refrain from posting the pictures tho..
  22. wait you guys found her house? i want a tp and take a shower in her tub too!!!
  23. I got to your place in Cevedale but I couldn't find your house. Anyway, if you are living in an individual house it looks like you may be able to divide the parcel and set the one you are on to 'invisible' provided the owner owns the whole sim.
  24. Yes the rumor is true up to a certain level. Basically if you do not owned the piece of land you are in or use the latest SL viewer, people can and will be able to 'spy' into your home/parcel. They can see anything and everything that are not on transparent setting in there.. including you. If you disable camera constraint and use the Ctrl + alt + mouse to move around the subject you are pointing at. You will be able to see them. Your View distance also plays an important role. Try this... stand at the edge of your house and try pointing your camera at your nearest neighbour. Use Ctrl+Alt+left click mouse to do this... move your mouse like you are going around the house or an object and you will see that you are looking into your neighbour's house. I'm not inworld right now, but yeah if you are asking me to 'spy' your house and take some pictures with it I can do that too. Basically, the only way to be fully private is to own your own land, set it to "invisible mode" and ban everyone else from coming in. Your avatar will be invisible to the prying eyes (they can still see you on radar) but not your furnitures. So put away that naked photos of yours from the wall.
  25. Mayalily wrote: .... So, I don't think I'm going to get any privacy then. Nope! Not on a shared private rental. I'm like you ... I like my privacy to certain extent. I don't like people 'hearing' my chats nor do I appreciate people getting their jolly camming me whilst me and my man are doing our stuff. I don't , however, care for the least bit when they see me changing my clothes and wigs. In a place where nudity or partial nudity is more common than top to bottom fully covered amish avatars, women anatomical bits aren't sacred, nor yours. Linden Lab ultimately own your avatar. You paid for the rental and temporary use of a virtual doll you called Mayalily. When you are done with it and you cancelled your subscription with Second Life, you do not get to use it anywhere else unless you created the skin yourself and use the template in another virtual world. Personally, I do not think you were wrong but I believe this is a lot to do with your level of experience as a virtual world user (aka gamer) in Second Life. Asking LL to remove the camming features is not something stupid... just purely short sightedness on your part. You have not reach beyond the intermediate level... yet (so to speak). Once you get beyond looking beautiful and dancing your pretty dress away in clubs, you will venture into the art of content creations. You will know then that Camera Control is very important in creating items. You will also look into today and realise that you could have bitten your tongue a little harder.
