I forced took my friend Mord for a dance so I could take some pics. Never underestimate the beauty of flat pics. Sometimes with the right moment, they can be just as expressive. But no doubt, focusing on the subject will add a bit more drama to the environment This one focusing on the background... not for everyone but probably would be nice for a postcard?

I never fit in... Someone used to tell me before that I have to join this group and that group and why I haven't been to this person's gig and why am I not interested in going to that hangout... meh.... I never liked being 'fitted' in. Why? It is boring. Once you are in a group you loose your personality and the only people who will notice your individuality are the people in the group itself. I prefer to be a person of my own. I like sitting on a fence. I like to respond with my own mind and feelings and not because the group I'm in felt like so. When you start reflecting the reaction of your 'fitted' group, this is when the herding mentality starts and you won't even notice it. Notice how a group dress alike? I think it takes courage to be on your own and off from the in-crowd. There will be a level of discrimination and people avoiding you, no doubt. I'm going to be really harsh here, Dres and it is not meant to hurt your feelings or anyone, just stating the obvious. You would think gays would be more accepting of your behaviour, personality and sense of style... think again... even gays are hypocrites at many levels.  If you feel lonely and fear of losing your SL interest by being shunned for the way you dress then I suggest you better of dressing "just like them". This may not be the best solution but it is the most practical in a bubble bursting sort of way. This not to say that you should start being an anti-social. God, NO! They're the worst kind if you ask my opinion. I need friends, I love having friends... and I love all the friends I have right now. But I do not let them overstep their lines nor do I force them to see my way. I have become more selective with my friends and I treasure those who accepts my quirkiness. Do I feel lonely at times? Yes, definitely but then again there is nothing worse than being 'fitted in' and still feeling out-of-place. BTW: This week with me in my "lady ghost' attire that I've worn for almost 2 weeks now and a tiny that I met at Goguen.

No it is not.. Go back to your inventory find the box under Object folder and try to detach it from there. After that rez it back on the ground.

It depends on what you want your parcel to be... is it exclusively no entry zone? Or open for all? I have a tiny 512m that I built as a small Garden Shrine for my dead ones in RL. It is located next to a small chapel in the middle of no where in the inland part of Jeogeot. I have more guests using that tiny parcel than the waterland I have in Corsica. I can understand if couples want to build it in their own estate/homestead, so they can have their own private moment doing whatever else they want in there away from prying eyes... (honestly, having sex in 'secluded' areas at Tempura isn't really secluded when anyone can cam around)... ... but for Mainland, I don't think there are enough places that were built as a recreation/relaxing area for other mainland residents to enjoy. We have enough buildings but not enough nature. This is why I'm thinking of revamping the parcels I have in Corsica and make it a recreation center for everyone who likes boating or ballooning go and enjoy themselves. It is not a lost cause unless you want people to enjoy and also be making money out of it. In this case your forest/garden has to be something different with extra flair that makes other residents want to use it over and over again... and it shouldn't be walled with megaprims... that is just nasty and no one will want to come in.

I don't do businesses and yet I have spent more than a thousand of dollars myself so I don't think it is impossible for anyone to pay that much to play in SL. I created an account early last year which stated in my profile that I am in SL to monitor my RL cheating husband and I knew who he is in SL and who he's been with because I used Nanny Cam.... and that I logged into his account (should have left that one out.. hehe). What I did after that was doing nothing other than looking hypersexy and roamed around the Adult areas/clubs/beaches especially where all the sex and orgies were happening. Guess what? It only took 2 days before my account was put 'On Hold' ... and 6 months before someone at LL replied to me asking me to verify that my account is valid by sending in all my RL documents to their mailbox. Of course there wasn't a cheating husband nor a RL husband on my part. I was just my usual 'curious' self enjoying my experiments on people's behaviour. For all I care, I was RP'ng as part of my PHD thesis in virtual world environmental behaviour studies... But I suppose at that time there were plenty of guilty cheating husband and I got banned pretty fast.. LOL! The fact of the matter is, I was put On Hold without as much as a one sentence reason as to why I was banned. I just figured out I was banned because I was stalking an imaginary husband. I mean how would I know if I will not be repeating the same mistake?

Yikes! I've been snipped .. ) Fair enough, the old pic was kinda offensive to some. Deformer is another tool used a lot by RP players especially those who plays medieval fantasy. It basically turns your physical avatar into something awful like elongated neck, big head, twisted knees .. you get the idea. There are HUDs for this and I believe the best ones I've seen was created by this guy who also created plenty of Club/Party HUDs. I have forgotten his name. However unless it is the force deformer kind, you can't really deformed the avatar at will. There is another HUD or rather Security Orb that will gore and detached the limbs of any potential attackers that comes within the parameter. It comes with complete blood particles and screaming sound too. This is only used by sim owner and not something you could carry around unless they had invented a HUD for it. But caging is still nice... I know a friend who has a friend who used to 'fly around in a sandbox 'scooping' female avatars using the cage script and had them bounce around inside the cage while he flew his vehicle all around the sandbox. He's my idol for the ultimate prankestine.

I don't know if this would help... a friend of mine was having the same problem the other day and she cleared cache and rebaked, relog and so on but were still in a cloud or no clothes on. So I suggested her to go Ruth (Character Test) and she did finally loads. After that, she changed back to her normal saved appearance (she's using V2) and everything changed except the shape. She had to go to the inventory folder itself to wear the shape... I wonder if your problem has anything to do with the shape you are wearing?

Go inside you home - Click on World on the menu bar - Place Profile - About Land A pop up box will show and select General tab. Under General tab you will see a button called Abandon Land. Click on it and you are no longer the owner of the home. After that go back to your account website and do exactly the same thing as what you did the last time when you were getting your Linden home.

Have you started buying lindens for today or already maxed out your monthly limit ? Maybe you can try Buy Account Credit in USD instead of buying it directly through your viewer. Log in to your website account - Under Linden Exchange click Manage - Click Increase Credit - Put the amount of the USD (minimum USD25 ) and click next. If this doesn't work for you than perhaps you will need a few more hours before the system acknowledged your registration.

I would advice you to file a ticket and get that piece of land to be sold to you. I am just not sure how long it will take though. My last issue I had with Mainland took 2 days for someone to respond just because it was filed during the weekends. If it was me, I would buy that piece of land surrounding it and file the ticket but I wouldn't encourage it to anyone else unless they are willing to take the risk.

Have you tried contacting Gucci, Hermes, Louis Vuitton or Yves Saint Laurent? I suspect they are responsible for this melee!

Thank you for this very valuable information. I will try this on as soon as I get back home tonight. I have 2 questions... Have you tried using this perspective for activities that requries percision like landing an aircraft on a spot, target shooting or aligning prims? Is there a visible difference if you are in Mouse look?

It was about 30 meters from the root prim. I made it a little low for the trial purpose. However, it is a weird thing because I always get unsitted at the same region/place even when I'm on a train. The VRC train did not stopped but just dissapeared. Anyway, I just received through my email that LL has returned it back to me. I will take another look at the script tonight and see if I can mess around with it. I think using waypoints would be better than linking it to a root prim... it creates a 'dragging' effect on my passenger's animation if I ran it, fast.

So I did my first trial today and used the root prim of the VRC train and linked it to my balloon. It runs okay on the rail track but I definitely need to optimised the code. There are many there that I don't need. At one point I got unsitted and the balloon just dissapeared. I have not seen it in my Lost and Found folder yet. I'm not that good with setting up waypoints in a script so that would be something that I'll look up in the future. Right now I'm going to learn how to get the configuration right for my balloon.

Singularity is still on the older code and it should run on any PC released from 2004 year onwards. I've tested it using my laptop and texture loading is much faster than Phoenix. Firestorm is based a lot on V2 codes and one feature (if not the only feature) I like about Firestorm is the prim alignment in build tool. I might use it as an alternate viewer in the future if they ever going to install DOF in it. Otherwise i'm sticking with V2.

Try the Singularity Viewer. I've heard this from some newbies that were using it and seemed to be quite happy. It is still in 1.5.9 code but planning to update to V2 code base in the future. It seems like to some with older PCs this viewer runs much better than Firestrom.
