#1 drama Fall in love because I helped them. Friend request. Ask for Lindens. Get mad if I don't answer immediately.... Recently called a **bleep** because I didn't see an IM, and even with an auto response because I'm often in photoshop, he still got verbally abusive. Helping a newb is like putting my head in a vitamix. I used to try but had problems. On guy reported me for a total lie and I almost lost my account. They have no sense that second life is a community with standard of living and behavior.

All I know for sure is I'm having a lot of failures. I still use Magic Boxes for no copy items, and today I took a really big failure hit. It would have paid my tiers this week. Bummer.

I've been miserable in Second. But can't seem to get out even though I've managed an entire year + 3 away.

Lately MP is not synching well with the items not listed. So if you take something out of the Magic Box, it won't sync, so it looks like it's still there. This problem for "me" has been the past few weeks. Sync your boxes, then refresh, and do it again, then inworld reset your boxes. It takes about ten times. Sometimes days. I personally have over 350 no copy items and it's a nightmare. Hang in there, hoping the new MP system will help us both.

MP is a beast. It causes me more problems than Carter's had pills... I sell many no copy items, the creations are solely mine, drawn in PS, but I'm forced to use a no copy script (please don't mention the name Ponzi since I pay for these scripts); anyways, these little scripts cause me SO much trouble. I have to put a sold item, one by sold one, back into my Magic box, every day, hourly, because if I wait too long, it becomes overwhelming... Then I have to go back and put the number 1 in available....because the current system can't handle more than one no copy (it can't accept an additional character like 2, and why this couldn't be fixed will be one of the great mysteries). Ahem, I started on XStreet. OMG the joyful memories of those days. NOW, the past years, listing, deleting, "whatever you have to do," is like crawling through mud with hands tied. For "awhile" it was speeding up, now NO. And the added feature, it's not removing the unlisted item even days after it was removed from the Magic Box. You can refresh until your finger breaks. Also the Fact that the newer items don't show first pisses me off. So people coming to my site get to see some older items that I wish would fall into line. I've been just removing them to make my MP look more cohesive. I'm totally worried about this change because I have over 300 no copy items! It's aweful. Just aweful.

I had a "baby" outfit repeatedly flagged because it was called "Doggy Bones Jumper." I contacted Linden help but they kept asking "what do you want?" after explaining twice it wasn't adult. Whatever their system they apparently can't manually correct this flag. Sigh. I couldn't find Bandai Namco but that shop is so mismatched and poorly executed. I find it interesting Slink gave their merchant kit to him, I haven't been able to get one yet. Pfft. I smell something...

What about no copy items? I wasn't ever able to try the other beta, because it TP'd me to some safe zone. I gave up.

No you're not a fool. SL is alluring as it is addicting and it can trigger intense emotions. I too, when I was a newbie I fell hook line and "stinker" for my landlord. He played me a fool for a good long time. Others tricked me, teased me and promised the moon and back. You'll get your sea legs and if you want to have a grand romance, you can...but it will eventually end if you're not looking for real life, or he isn't. Somehow for many, it's love like no other until one of the partners wants to take it out of SL...then it's Skype, emails,, texting until you really are having an affair (or if neither married, a romance). I beg to differ to those who preach how SL is a game, when they are crying the loudest that it's not a game when someone says, or "SL is a gaime." No, it's a medium. And the people we meet here can open our hearts and eyes...and we can find love. If you do, remember it's easy for people to get away with what they could never do in real life. Anyways... I jumped in after 2 years single and had a long long partnership of 4 years. In the end it was devastating for both of us. Tread carefully...Second Life is like no other experience I can explain, and that loving that other person can haunt your for years after a break up. Try for fun and save moving in with someone. I always had them (very few) live with me, that way, I had more control. Best of luck.

But, if you add 3rd party customizations to your templates, you should be aware of how this can impact your work." Also things like: Pinterest hover button, a scrolling popular posts widget, etc. Read this as well http://www.codeitpretty.com/2015/03/how-google-code-shutdown-can-affect.html It depends on if they have code in their design templates. It's worth making sure your blog isn't impacted. I have code on one of mine that needs to go. One last thing, they're pushing for domain names. When I log in now, it immediately asks me about picking a domain. I current have one on one site, all of $10 a year, as long as you keep current, otherwhise off it goes to GoDaddy and to renew can cost up to $200 a year. Currently it'ss $12 a year. I might jump on this for my other two blogs just incase I need to host elsewhere. I'm not overly confident with Google since they've closed some useful apps.

I did a search for this subject but didn't get results. If you have a fashion blog on Google Blogger, it is no longer going to be an open source. In otherwords, you have to buy a domain, decide where to host it. There are integration tools, but I'm not sure I'm going to keep my blog running. The cost of the domain is $12 a year, the hosting info is a bit vague, and maybe someone else can unravel this. I wanted fashion bloggers to know that their blogs will become read only. It would be nice to see your review. In my mind, as a designer, subject to reviews, you could have said, "I love this furniture but because it's no copy, I'll give it a 4*" That is an objective review and wouldn't have caused all this drama. If this is the designer I "think it is" I believe your review must have been unreasonable." Linden Labs would have to have removed the review. Not the designer, she can't do that. She can relist the item, however, that would put her into violation with the TOS. Linden Labs removed your review because she must have contacted them and asked them to review it and determine if it's fair. They felt it wasn't. I know this because I had bad reviews for demos because they customer didn't like how I made the demo, and Linden removed it. Also, nothing makes me madder than someone leaving a bad review without giving me a chance to fix the problem. Finally, being banned leads me to believe your review was really unreasonable. I've never banned anyone. What I've done is contacted the reviewer, made it right, and asked them to remove it. That is how it''s done. All this is your fault soley. There are so many ways to resolve issues with designers, but sparky reviews when the information was stated "NO COPY" prior to you buying it, is... Your FAULT. I might have banned you too. Next time, give the designer a chance. True some won't help, but in that case, give an honest review and fair review.

This is old thread but this happened to me yesterday. Facebook wouldn't let me use my SL name. Feldragonne. Nor Kakia. So I used something else, but they then wanted documentation, aka drivers license or passport. I'm supper bummed because I used it for my business in SL. PS. I had an active account under Faye Feldragonne but I couldn't log in yesterday and that's how it started.

The glut issues makes sense, too. Everyone is giving a hand to texturing mesh and the mystique of making clothings in Second Life is long gone. It's easier to drop a texture on a mesh object than fool around with the original templates and create 3d clothing without the benefit of 3d mesh. In my years here, I've never seen so many new designers cropping up all over. I've also seen some really cleaver new designers who've turned this medium into an entirely different clothing experience. As always the talent in SL is underrated. It's just amazing.

Does anyone know why some full perm mesh is really really expensive and other's isn't. Is it because it's a better quality mesh product? I've bought both expensive and cheaper, but my naked eye can't tell the difference. Would someone else know? I'm so curious about that. How can a FP dress be $250 by one mesh maker and $2500 for another.

For the past month I am unable to upload tga files with transparent...the transparent turns white. These are files I have uploaded before. I also made a video on how to make a layer mask, so I know how to do it. LOL. Has something changed in SL or the latest Firestorm viewer that I'm not aware of? LOL NEVER MIND. Yep. So true what you said. Also, there is NO room for error. Another thing that's an issue for me is that if I load something and start to list it, if I back out, I can't get rid of the listing. There is NO delete button. Totally bizzare. I've tried updating the box, etc. I'm not sure how long I'll do this because it's a bit nuts. But I can't afford land for a store at the moment. Maybe one day I can. Thanks for your help.

I'm sorry that I'm raising an old thread from the dead. But it is Halloween (one day after). Ok... I have "managed " to sell more than one no copy item inside the old Magic Boxes, IF 2nd item and all after are manually associated. I'm not sure how this works or why it works but it does. However, if there is only one item, and I add another, and associate it, it will not change the number available. I need to do this manually as well. There was "a time" I sold no copy items, such as more than one "fill in the blanks" that were no copy but transfer, and it didn't require that I assoicate each one, or change amount available. I don't remember how many of the letters in the name of the item. Unless, this is a dream I had. Needless to say, it's a pain to have to associate every item I put in the box, OR worse, do an entire new listing, which includes linking similar items. I'm willing to suffer the pains I'm currently feeling if that's the only option. BUT I've searched all over for more answeres to No Copy/Transfer items (in my case it's not the clothing --those are mine-- it's the script I use within the clothing...really long story why that's so...but anyways), it's the script that is no copy, but transferable. They are baby clothes that use an applier script that's not free to me. I know. I know. IF we can get around that issue (which is a bane for anyone who sells these clothes), can anyone help me by a link post or any other advice? Again, I'm sorry I SO sorry I revised a dead thread.

Thanks, I've no idea. I've talked with others too and taken them to examples but they couldn't figure it out either. It's usually an extra layer of skirt or fabric that looks to appear moving, or "sparkling". Someone once told me they're cranking the horizontal and vertical in oposite directions, or the rep meter and rotation as this one is...you can't see this but the top and skirt appear to sparkle. That's it's hard to give examples here with images.
