@Wicked, you can find emote HUDs for free. Like this one: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Emote-HUD-11/262834 MystiTool is nice, but it is heavy scripted. This HUD has some of the stuff people use most, like flight assist. It also has an auto-smile. This is not so good for photos, it is often hard to catch your avatar just in the smile. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Paolas-Multi-HUD-21/2008973 This one is much more light on script resources than MystiTool. A tip: I make a "Smile shape" just for smiling pictures. The avatar emotions are rather crude and has not been updated ever. So the "big smile" almost closes the eyes and curl up the lip corners. The "smile shape" has wider eye openings, almost twice as big as my normal shape, who has rather small eye openings. I also set my mouth to be slightly frowning. I think this gives the best result when I smile. Compare my 2 pictures, the one with blond hair is newer and I have worked on the shape, to get a smile that I like.

I don't pay attention to how tall I am. I just look at how I look in my surroundings. I change my shape all the time too. Recently, I spent more time in Japanese sims, and so I shrinked a bit. Many Japanese builds are closer to RL scale. I also notice that furniture is much, much better sized now. 2-3 years ago, it was huge and I had to be over 6'4 unless I would look like a midget in chairs and sofas. So to me, all that matters is what I see on the screen. I seem to remember one height mesasurement thing saying I was 5'8 some months ago. Clothes and skin is so important. Compare these 2 pictures. It's the same shape in both. Not a slider touched. To the left, I look like a tween/teen. To the right, I look adult, yes?

I do anything to avoid cleaning up the house before I have to go to work.... sigh... I must close the laptop and do some boring domestic chores now. There is no dust in SL, or dirty dishes, or laundry. Maybe that's why I like SL so much.:smileyvery-happy:

I don't have land in SL anymore. I didn't spend enough time there to defend the cost. But, I loved to mess around and decorate. I think the bathroom turned out well.

I change looks all the time. I treat my avatars as 3D dolls. Now my Flickr shows 18 images on the first page, and I wear 6 different skins on them. And changed the shape 3 times. It is no way I could make that myself, and all since Feb. 26. The fun for me is making a new look, I never stay that way. I had some periods where I was wearing the same skin some months. Never as much as a year. The shape is also tweaked constantly.

BOOM sells bikinis as separates. The bottoms comes as thongs, string bikini bottoms, bikini bottoms or boyshorts.

You can also make your own alpha masks to hide your feet. This can be handy, if the boots are modify so you can get rid of annoying invisiprims. You can get a free pack of feet alphas at the Forum Cartel Hangout. I think both alpha layers and textures are included. The Marketplace has a set for 10L too, and you get some other interesting alpha layer textures there too. You make your own alpha layer by going into appearance mode, then edit your outfit and create new alpha. Then you drop the alpha texture you want in the box for the body part you will modify, like lower body, and save. I use to "save as" and name it for the footwear I will use it with, and put it in the same folder. It is really easy.

My signature shows the frustration over how many creators that sell no modify items with resizers, be it hair, clothes or shoes. Resizers should be a help for your customers, and the items should be left modify. My picture shows me in a "Tam O' Shanter" hat that is no mod with resizer. It looks great until it's SL night, then some of the badges start to shine because the creator thought it was a good idea to set them to full bright. I hate and loathe full bright hair, jewlery and clothes. If it was modifiable, I could change that with a click. If it's scripted and I want to kill the scripts, I just hope that the menu has a delete option, or I am screwed. And then it's all the hassle when I have to make a copy of all prim parts and put it in a backup folder before I can delete the scripts.
