  1. Before contacting live support, you can try clearing the cache (cookies, temp files, etc.) of your internet browser, whether it be Firefox, IE, or whatever you use. Also, be sure that your viewer (SL's, Firestorm, Singularity, whatever) has cookies enabled. But, If that doesn't help, then by all means, Rolig's response is your best bet, once support is open.. Good luck with it!
  2. Totally unsure if this is related but I have recently noticed many mesh clothing items, when worn (whether through add or wear) are attached to the right hand. Try removing all mesh objects and see if the hand becomes visible? Good luck in resolving it!
  3. Well, if you've already established that your feedback to a merchant is going to give you unwanted feedback from that merchant, why is it so important for you to provide that undesired feedback? I mean, if you need to find a way to keep your feedback anonymous, perhaps that feedback really shouldn't be sent anyway? What do you hope to accomplish by sending feedback that you know is going to cause an unwanted response? Ah and now, where can I find one of those boxes to hide under so I don't get unwanted feedback on this? ;-)
  4. I believe if you just click on the stand from the drop down list of the AO, you can select that stand, pose, etc. You do not have to cycle through. Click or doubleclick on the one you want to use from the dropdown list in the AO window. It's not necessary to use the arrows. Nor is it then necessary to spend money on an AO unless you want to start customizing the stands for varying times, etc. ETA - I have not used Firestorm in a while but I believe you may be using the quick AO window from the lower toolbar. The AO window that I am referring to is the one where you drop the notecard initially to activate the built-in AO. That window which shows the stands, whether you want a specific time delay, etc. is the window where the dropdown list allows to select a specific stand. I don't have FS on my computer any longer or I would send you a pic.
  5. Hi Anahita, Your issue confuses me as, in the viewer I currently use - Singularity, and was also in Firestorm when I last used it, when you open the Animation Override window within the viewer, you can easily select the stand you wish to use. Perhaps I am misunderstanding your issue but you can select your stand through the pop-up window for the AO. As for other AOs, I don't know as it has been a very long time since I used an AO other than the built-in.
  6. Hi Harlei, Yes, there is an 'always run' function...using Ctrl-R toggles it off/on. Hope that helps!
  7. hi there, besides turning on the feature in your viewer through the Graphics>Avatar Physics, avs that you're watching would need to be wearing a physics layer which allows the sway and jiggle. so it's not just your viewer, it's a cooperative effort! so, you've done things correctly if you've turned on/set the Avatar Physics, now you just need to wait for someone to walk...or bounce...by who happens to be wearing the physics layer. enjoy! :matte-motes-little-laugh:
  8. Check your gestures, there may be some key combo that you use that is triggering activation of gesture.
  9. Thank you for the clarification. Your first response (to which I responded) sounded as though system clothes would no long work at all. Hence my request for more information. Thank you!
  10. It means that unless the items you're selling are of limited quantities such as a no copy item or maybe a special edition of an item, you need to set up your direct delivery items. The only iitems left for magic box are of the no copy or limited quantity type objects.
  11. can you point me to where something official states that system clothes will no longer be visible? we are all going to be subjected to wearing only mesh??? i haven't seen that written anywhere as yet and would love to know more. thanks!
  12. You use the Home Control Panel to go onto the web site and change the pool or whatever other part of the house that the panel allows. There is an option for water, I'm sure. I have a different style home that has an outdoor patio with a pool area. I have place a couple of poses for floating and one for sitting on the edge of the pool and splashing my feet in it. A little creativity goes a long way toward believability! :matte-motes-sunglasses-2: Enjoy!
  13. In addition to the excellent reply above, depending on your viewer, you can also use Area Search to find your objects (filter for Owner and enter your name.) The Area Search tool is available in Firestorm but I'm not sure which other viewers have it. Find the offending object in the list, click on its name in the list, follow the red arrow to the object and handle accordingly. Or right click the object name in the list, select whichever option suits what you wish to do with the item and, voila, offending object handled! Good luck with it!
  14. Hi MariBelle, Have you tried clearing cookies & cache in your browser? (Not in the viewer, but the browser - IE, Firefox, Chrome, etc.) Hope that helps.
  15. Hi Kailey, My personal opinion is that first, you need to know whether the creater offers 'affiliate programs' whereby another person can purchase the content and and is allowed to resell it. That scenario may involve the sharing of profits, as items are sold, between the seller and the creator. You can usually find out if that is the case by checking the creator's store inworld or looking on the Marketplace store for that same creator. If there is no affiliate program in place, you can send an IM or notecard to the creator explaining what you saw and where. The creator can then research and file a DMCA if the products are definitely copied/stolen content. But the creator is really the only one who can do anything about their content being copied/stolen. .Your feelings about content theft being wrong are shared by many residents and creators can only do something if they are aware it's happening. The other thing is to be sure to never buy (whether or not there is a charge for the item) anything that you have learned is copied or stolen from another av. Have a wonderful day!
  16. Hi Robbyn, I'm not sure if you're aware of the inworld group that could better answer your questions about Meeroos - it's a group owned by the creators of Meeroos. I'll send you a notecard inworld with more information. Have a wonderful day! Tini
  17. simply, for some things, you can see, but you can't use the tools unless you are a Linden.
  18. perhaps he just needs to add the surname of 'resident' after his first name when logging in?
  19. If it's your stream, is there no way to block others from accessing it from outside of SL? Not allowing other connections or password protecting the connection somehow? I'm not all that familiar with how to stream music, not at all actually, but I would think that you have control of it from outside of the viewers. Just a thought. I hope you find an answer for it. Tini
  20. From what I understand of it, you can't use Phoenix to set up DD. You need to either use the latest SL viewer or one of the other TPVs that has the Merchant Outbox setup. I'm not sure if any other viewers are yet set up to handle the conversion to DD.
  21. An interesting idea but wouldn't the age verification (login) for products categorized at other than PG pose potential security issues? I'm not familiar enough with connecting to Marketplace from outside websites to know whether this is already some sort of risk.
  22. hi Obsessionne, I don't recall seeing a true clickable hyperlink in a profile pick, only the full text of the of the URL. you can then copy/paste that URL into your local chat, where it does turn into a clickable hyperlink. if you are definitely seeing hyperlinks in the profile, i'd be curious to know which viewer you're using and whether that is what makes the difference.
  23. Hello Demi, The control box is where you can make some texture changes to your home - things such as windows open, blinds, a sheer curtain look, as well as the textures used for walls, floor, roof, doors, window frames, locks, lights and there may be a couple of things I'm missing. That should give you the jist of it. As for the error you're getting, you might want to clear browser cookies and your browser cache. Although there could be some LL issue preventing you from accessing the control panel site for your home. I'm not sure whether filing a ticket will help should you continue getting the error. Good luck & I hope you enjoy your home!
  24. Well, I can say it's not in the sim I'm currently in, at least, not that I've found as yet. However, with the number of sims that ARE affected, that I have personally seen it in...I should think it would be easier to clean up in one fell swoop rather than trying to find the individual sims. As well as the fact that as they clean one sim, the object could 'escape' to another sim that's already been cleared. Would be a ridiculous activity to try to chase it down.
  25. I should hope they would just do a gridwide takedown of the same prim/object/whatever it is. Rather than trying to handle it on a sim by sim basis!
