  1. No, I don't think so. I never used up the prims I had. It just wasn't... interesting, I guess?
  2. OH MY GOSH!!! SOOOOO happy to hear that! Congratulations, and welcome to Bellisseria!!
  3. At least I didn't say "bless your heart!" πŸ˜…
  4. I had one for a couple of years... I only used it as a hideaway. It wasn't very attractive and there was never anyone around in my little neighborhood, or then kept entirely to themselves... same as i did, I suppose. No, I never felt any sense of community there.
  5. No, sweetie, I don't work for LL or know anyone who works for LL. And I rather enjoy a good debate, sunshine. As long as people have something to say, so do I. Have a magnificent day, darling!
  6. And if they'd done that, people who have been loyal premium members for years would be angry. There was no way for them to do this that was going to please everyone. They are damned if they do, damned if they don't.
  7. I disagree that it's poor planning. I think it's wonderful planning. It makes perfect sense to release these in smallish batches. They get them out faster, they have time to see and deal with bugs, and it allows the community to grow organically and ease through some growing pains. 50,000 people dumped onto one continent at the same time, right next to each other, from every conceivable walk of life... there are already issues coming up that were never even considered even with the relatively small group of us there now. They simply cannot make everyone happy. It's utterly impossible. If they'd dumped them all at once, people would complain when there were issues with that. It's the same as releasing different phases of a new subdivision. Some people get in on the first phase, some have to wait.
  8. They aren't the only ones who want uniqueness. I haven't seen another spot in Bellisseria that looks just like my little spot and I'm thrilled. I don't want it to look cookie cutter... why would anyone? I guess some people really love the look of subdivisions?
  9. Okay, so by your reasoning, after seeing the demand for the first batch, they should have not completed anymore until they were all done? I have no idea how many premium accounts there are but I think I heard something like 50 or 60 thousand. That would still be punishing the majority because of a few loud voices who are biting themselves in the foot by making everyone wait longer to get one. My dad was in the Navy. He'd say put on your big girl panties and deal with it.
  10. ☺️ Crossing my fingers for you!
  11. Was their name Something LINDEN or Something MOLE? Because if not, they weren't official. I actually am stunned that 709 of them went in 27 minutes today, and I bet the Lindens and Moles are, too. I think they were stunned that the original batch went in 48 hours. Once they saw the demand for those original ones, should they have taken them back until they could have built enough to have one for every premium member?
  12. Where are people getting the June/July for the 3rd batch, other than pure speculation? I thought Patch said in his post that the next batch would be houses, with some boats, and that hopefully it would be much quicker, or am I just dreaming that... which is entirely possible...lol?
  13. Who said that you'd get one "no problem"? Source? Because I've never seen anyone in any official capacity say anything like that. They had NO idea the first batch of homes would go so quickly. I truly believe it absolutely caught them off guard and now they are working day and night to hurry the next batches along. Patch said that the next batch will hopefully be quicker. I have several friends that were hoping to get in today and missed out. It sucks, but it is what it is. I think they're handling things quite well.
  14. East coast of the US gets off work soon. People who used alts to grab houseboats will be abandoning their traditional homes when they get home and log in after work. All hope is not lost.
  15. They had 700 ready to go. Why just sit on them when people want them? Would you rather no one get one because you haven't gotten one?
  16. I take this back. HOLY CRAP, YOU GUYS! I hate that there are many who still didn't get homes, but wow... and YAY for all the new neighbors!
  17. I think some perspective is needed here. There are about 700 new houseboats that will be up for grabs soon. Someone said there are like 140 people hovering... so we'll assume all of them are trying for boats. There are about, what, 20 folks regularly posting here right now in anticipation of the release. So that's 160 people. Just for fun, let's add another 200 people who aren't in either place but hitting the refresh button over and over. That still leaves 340 boats to grab. I think everyone maybe needs to take a long, slow, deep breath... close your eyes for 10 seconds. Push back from your computer. Release the breath, slowly... inhale again... release... shake your shoulders to loosen the tension... stretch... breath... It's all going to be okay.
  18. Swung by the party long enough to grab a nice big pickle on a stick from the Squishy Pickle! So nice of them to put these out for us! So juicy! πŸ₯’πŸ€£πŸ₯’πŸ€£πŸ₯’
  19. I get it. It made me roll my eyes, too, for the 50 seconds it took me to move through the threads. She was trying to be helpful, though. I still say your response was persnickety and unnecessary.
