There are some very good Android tablets for the fraction of the cost of an Ipad. I have one.
-
I personally avoid them because they are so locked down. That adds security, but not flexibility.

It IS possible, but the volume can only be a a cube or Sphere. It's editable to the same degree as any probe is, but has the same limits. You can see the yellow outlines of my original object, but the volume has become the yellow sphere.

I've had ALM turned on for years. Even with older PC's. -
Now I'm curious if it's possible to turn a sculpted prim into a probe!!!
-
The probes can only be square or spherical. If the edges extend our beyond the walls, they will reflect the EEP. Remember that happened in one of the rooms I was setting up a probe for near the National Blab buildings? If you are working on a mirror, then you don't need a room sized lightprobe. I have one setup by a glass table, that's partially roomsized, that reflects the room nicely, without being overdone.

I don't find it strange either. I learned to play drums playing along with AC/DC, but love the "Carpenters" too!!!

Thanks!!! I didn't plan it. Cinny and were playing "Barbie Dress Up" with out Alts, and, as usual, I snapped a random pic. Then I applied some random PS filters until I liked what I saw!!!

I would come. I wouldn't take any pics. Well I might...There is always "BLACKMAIL"!!! the National Blab DOES understand BLACKMAIL!!! Cinny, get your camera out!!!

You can live your life any way you want. it IS your life. I will have to keep my opinions to myself. -

I personally think it looks terrible when someone has a an exaggerated AV. It's their AV though, and they have every right. Everyone has their own reason to be in SL. They pick their AV's, and they pick their activities. What people do inworld isn't necessarily a reflection of their actual RL selves. I would never do most of what I do inworld in RL. Hopefully you don't either. -

I don't necessarily like everyone's appearance inworld either... But it IS their SL. There AV is their own personal choice. As long as they abide by the TOS, and the rules of the SIM they are in, none of us can say a single thing. -

Inconvenient Truths about Second Life
SandorWren replied to Love Zhaoying's topic in General Discussion Forum
It's not inconvenient at all. People come to SL for varying reasons. Sometimes people who never wanted Slex end up "doing it", and sometimes people who only wanted Slex end up involved in other things. SL is about choice. I DO think that if Slex wasn't possible, that SL would take a hit. -
At least he tried.

There WAS an old episode of "Bewitched" where everyone has to tell the truth. It wasn't pretty. -

Honestly, we DO have to be pretty tough to survive here. -

This is an interesting question. I have heard others say the same thing. -
