Are you talking about terraforming the land so it's flat or has mountains? Homesteads are on private estates and the estate owner may or may not allow you terraforming rights. Or, are you talking about just creating a winter scene with trees and rocks and stuff? I was just playing around with some stuff I had in inventory and created this on a parcel I have. I had picked up a little winter scene as a gift and wanted to use it so I put it down in the middle and started putting winter trees I got from the Marketplace. As you can see, it's not on snow land so I used a flat prim that covered the whole parcel and used a snow texture from my inventory. That gave me a reasonable base to place the scene and trees around it. This was just a quickie job but it was fun and it came out ok.

You can rent parcels of land on the mainland or private estates from land owners without being a premium member. Depending on the size you need and how much the rent is, that might be a cheaper option that paying for the premium membership. That's something to consider at least.

Ran across this car 137 meters in the air. Odd place to park your car. I was near an airport and there were all manner of flying craft hovering about but this car seemed out of place. What odd things have you seen?

It says the marketplace issue is resolved but I still cannot log in. The issue has NOT been resolved.

Yeah, cleared cache, dumped cookies, tried all 3 different browsers, rebooting, and a different network have been tried. No joy.... BTW, my non premium alt can log in just fine.

I cannot log in with my main premium account but my alt who is not premium can log into market place just fine.

Any idea when they will fix the log in issue with marketplace?

Are you trying to message in-world people without logging into SL? There is an app for the iPhone that can send local chat messages to people but it's pretty limited. It would be easier to just log in to SL on a friends computer and send them a message that way.

Are you looking for a cheap place to call home? The Arket Trailer Park may be just what you're looking for. 5 small trailers for rent at $35L a week on an adult sim and 1 larger trailer for $48L a week. Each trailer comes with it's own junk car that you can't drive. You'll only get 10 prims to rezz stuff but that should be enough to change your clothes. There are no security orbs and you might get a visitor from time to time as the neighborhood is fairly active. There is a strip club and cheap motel nearby for you to enjoy or work at and I live in the big house next door. You're welcome to use my house and pool to entertain guests but I might drop in unexpectantly. Your group tag will read "Trailer Trash" and the trashier you are the better.
