I have property in Arket and your lag spikes are coming from ***** Street and those ugly boxes they put on the ground. It's not too bad most of the time but sometimes it can be. Also, there has been a lot of political activity around there as there is a Trump pub on the next sim over and trump haters come and go with their laggy builds. Those properties don't sell much but we do get renters in there from time to time that can cause problems.

I find it quite easy to make friends here. I will get comments from people about something in my profile, or something to do with what sim we're on or anything really. I will also IM people about something interesting in their profile. I'm an avid profile reader and can usually find something interesting to talk about. A sense of humor is good to have as well. Not everyone responds however but that's ok, I just move along.

I have a plot of land I do test builds on and when I'm between builds, I set a single chair and an old TV that shows pics of old I Love Lucy shows right in the middle. This is going to be perfect for that.

I have 2 mainland homes, one on the beach with sea access and one in adult land and I have a few small plots here and there that I rent out and build stuff on. I also have a Linden cabin that I use for my quiet times. In fact, I just landed a nice little log cabin on a lake that I'm looking forward to decorating.

That's likely your gateways (router) IP. Your local IP will be something like 192.168.1.101 Mine is 10.90.1.201

There are several VPN networks that can be used. I can appear to be in China one minute and Texas the next if I want to.

And even if people can see your IP address, that does not lead right to your house or RL name anyway. They can get the general area or perhaps the city of the DHCP server that your ISP (Internet Service Provider) uses for your account. That could be 100's of miles from your actual location and changes from time to time. Your ISP could possibly find out what account a certain IP was assigned to at any given time but they do not give out that kind of information without a court order.
