    I saw someone holding an animated knife, flipping it in their hand, almost like juggling. It had a small sound with it I think. My laptop crashed before I could ask where they go it. Anyone know where to find one? Thanks

    NEW PET PEEVE - Accidentally double-clicking on top level folder (non system) and it tries to attach HUNDREDS OF ITEMS to my avatar! OK this is sort of user error but there should be some kind of safeguard / popup warning "You are about to try and attach more attachments than allowed. Try something else"! Now I have to wait for the gazillion messages of "You can't attach multiple objects to one spot." I know, I made one slip of the finger and now I wait and wait. Arg this is what I get for trying to sort my inventory near bedtime. At any rate I'm amused as well as annoyed.

    I try to shop free or L$1 only so Black Friday wasn't too intense for me. For sale at L$50? Too rich for my tastes LOL. Now, however, there's the ADVENT CALENDARS galore and the SHOP&HOP HOLIDAY and I am overwhelmed just trying to figure out which calendars I really want to go to and which I just dropped by to check out. And now the S&H and I am just completely overwhelmed. For the next few days I'll be in FOMO mode because RL holiday stuff (good news/bad news kind of situation) so what cool (free) stuff will I miss out on? However I have to acknowledge I don't actually NEED anything, and outside of wanting to look like Katy Perry as a candy cane, there isn't that much I super duper want. If anyone has suggestions for a free (or low cost) candy cane striped jumpsuit, please let me know. I might even be willing to go up to L$50.

    My pet peeve of the year - vendors who include a photo of their item, but make the photo "NO COPY" so I can't unpack it without losing the photo in the original box. The item itself is copyable. Why not the photo? Second pet peeve - vendors who don't include any photo of the item, not even on the box.

    I love the concept and animations! But not sure if I would use it that much as I don't RP as much as I used to. I have a "letting down my hair" animation that I use with a hair-changing attachment, which is fun every once in awhile.

    I already have a script. It is not ZHAO-II, it is a separate script. It seems likely that no one has modified the ZHAO-II scripts for facial animations so I'll likely just script choosing which notecard to load and have the menu come up on a "touch". So I'll finish up the month of Halloween haunted houses and hunts, and come back to this later.

    I mostly use it with a smiler, a "mood detector" that does expression emotes based on what I chat, a system emote HUD, and yes, on occasion, old timey furniture. and yes, I use llGetAnimationList. llSetAnimationOverride doesn't do expression translations. The config notecard is similar to the ZHAO because it's simple, not because it actually works for anything with ZHAO. It seems like you would have no use for such a script and that's OK.

    Has anyone converted/extended ZHAO-II scripts to be an internal facial animations translator to bento facial animations? Is it worthwhile to try? The bento facial expressions that work with my RuthTOO head look really bad with my Lelutka head. I haven't checked the CATWA head yet. I have a homemade script that does translations but I am at the point where I am switching between heads and I didn't script loading different configs. I could do it but I would rather go on more Halloween hunts. The notecard is a similar format to ZHAO-II, for example: [express_cry_emote]H0013_SAD I can make a second translator just for Lelutka, just curious if converting the ZHAO-II script in some way would make sense in the long term. The answer might be no. I might just take the ZHAO-II load notecard part out but that would have to wait until I've had my Halloween hunts and shopping. Priorities!

    Yes I feel this. I have been looking for a business pencil skirt and recently realized I have the perfectly sized and shaped "pencil skirt" in my inventory and... because the vendor redid their server, I cannot change the color from pink. The item is no longer sold by the vendor, in fact they don't seem to do clothes at all anymore. So now I have the perfect pencil skirt but it will only ever be in pink. *sad trombone noise*.

    I find that many boots/shoes no longer come with system layer shoe shape (that has heel height, platform, etc) because the boots are just too tall. So I use an RLV scripted attachment to set my hover height instead. Rather than one attachment that I have to click to adjust for each pair of shoes, I have different hard-coded attachments for various hover-heights. So once I have figured out the right height (via fiddling with Firestorm Quick Prefs) I make a new attachment (example name: "adjust_height10.0") and I save that into the new outfit. For some vendors, their shoes are usually the same height. I also created folders with links in the #RLV/ directory so I can attach/detach various adjust_heights through a menu. How do other people manage their heels height? I haven't had too many issues with sitting but I walk around more than I sit. It is possible to create an attachment that would auto-change (via RLV) hover height when sitting on something, and revert when standing, but it might not be helpful unless it was for things that I regularly sitting on. This brings to mind an old video:

    Partaking in multiple freebie hunts and thinking I would ever get around to opening/organizing them all. I still have unopened boxes from before 2015. Note that I enjoy the hunting itself so that part isn't the mistake. Thinking I would organize all the items was the mistake. In good news the new Firestorm Viewer inventory changes means at least the organizing I will do for this year's items (more likely to be opened up) will be faster and pleasanter! Opening up folders in new windows, creating new folders from selected items, whee!

    I'm looking for straight/wavy hair with low side bun or braided bun or chignon on right side. If all else fails I'll probably go with the above hair but it may irk me.

It is in an area called Little Yoshiwara http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Milarepa/97/138/44 The box inworld is called "Free Anims and AO" when you rez the box you have to right-click "OPEN" to get the contents as they are no-copy Then rez and open the Geisha AO box There are 2 ZHAO AOs inside. The AO itself is copy/transfer but the animations are nocopy/nomodify inside that. Not sure what that means.

I don't think the skin they chose is particularly androgynous (heavy makeup). But that is easily changed with a new skin.

    I found what I was looking for, not a freebie but under $50L when I looked for "farmer shirt" based on what I was seeing looking for plaid shirt. I think one of the above links was similar to the "freebie" that I eventually found in my inventory as well. Thank you for the advice!

    I am looking for a BOM (system layer) buttondown plaid shirt, like a lumberjack shirt. I would even be OK with a texture file to upload. I am not looking for mesh, I have those, I am looking to layer the shirt underneath a sweater. I'm sure I saw a freebie somewhere but I don't recall where.

    @Nylyx There is a very old flexi hair that is full curly and modabble. However for some reason the perms are no copy / yes mod / yes transfer.     Closer but still a bit too long. So close! In RL could just use a pair of scissors to cut this down to what I want. Thanks though, because I like some of the other styles at Modules, just not for the one look I was initially hoping for.
