    Actually, one of my favourite threads was when we were watching the England vs Italy Euro '21 final on the forum...started with me and Amina and Krystina, then others joined in...I can't remember any fighting ⚽ I miss the old non-SL threads too, there were some fun ones a few years ago But I don't think they'll ever return, because too many ended up with off-topic arguments...

    Just to give a different perspective...because some people think that messy sims or flashy fullbright lights are automatically an attempt to maliciously grief... I used to have land rights on a builders' sim on mainland, and we had junk EVERYWHERE...builds, items, particle emitters, Space Invaders machines, skybox shops and clubs rising all the way to the top, etc. One next-door neighbour hated us and put up a big wall, and included us in his Picks for a while (in a negative way! ). It didn't bother us but he was convinced we were doing it to spite him, rather than just being a group of people who liked scripting and building and had a space to do it in that wasn't a public sandbox that got attacked by griefers every few hours...(though we were normally rez-enabled and never had many problems) (except for a RP policeman ) I agree with Marigold, I always liked Mainland and would find a private island too lonely and isolated, but living on Mainland does mean some compromise...sometimes you can't have a perfect view in all four directions Β―\_(ツ)_/Β―

    This is actually the best and most original argument against alts I think I've seen Next time I see an alt/bot modelling at a clothes store, I'm going to IM the owner, "Oi, log out the alt 🀬 I'm available for work...can I have 300L per hour please? πŸ˜‡"

    I deleted my post in the other thread but...I honestly think if I was rich enough to crash sports cars into the sea for real...I probably wouldn't be on SL Feels negative to write that! But am just being honest... If I could only win the lottery by spending it in SL...either create a few open access parcels for classes like the ones I found when I was new on 2010 (teaching people how to build or DJ or script particles)...or maybe buy Freebie Galaxy and list it as a heritage build so it never gets deleted

    500 to 1 That will be the next big SL business...scripted bot friends...πŸ€– You can choose their appearance and behaviour (serious and quiet, or funny and extrovert), even down to how long they wait until they IM you when you log on...and they won't defriend you if you ignore them for weeks

    Oh yes, this happened to me a few times...I don't know if I told this story here before, but I actually didn't like the way one alt made me feel IRL, so I deleted her Most were the same as 'Rat', sort of But with each alt, it was interesting how even little changes you'd make would give you a new way of looking at SL...
