Well, I have gotten the demo and will look it over in my free time. I admit that when I saw their example Curvy on the vendor display, I was impressed to see a curvy body in SL that was realistic, not sensationalized. If that's the kind of shapes that I can make with the curvy body, I will be tempted. I was also impressed with the number of vendors there that had clothing that was not either extremely skimpy or trashy looking. I may be wrong about this but I think most of the brands and styles I've seen for the other curvy bodies have been skimpy and/or trashy clothing. I am not sure how I feel about the "buy the fatpack in your body type" trend that Just Because and DeadDoll are moving to. For those with multiple bodies, that requires a choice right off the bat - for only one body spend SL500, or spend $L1000 for two, for one piece of clothing, albeit in a bunch of colors. A lot of times I'm not interested in getting a fatback. I'd rather spend $L200-$L300 to get that piece of clothing in a color I'd like..

Although I didn't get into Bellisseria as early as Marianne (my first was when the Victorians came on the scene) and usually only have a single premium account, my opinion is similar to hers. I get into a new home style, build out the decor, sit on it for a period of between 1 week to a few weeks, and then tear it down, only to put up a different home in that theme, or abandon the parcel and go back to another theme. I get bored easily and would not likely have a build up long enough to make an entry in PoH valid.

That is correct. The partition fireplace is fantastic to use in larger rooms, obviously not just in Newbrookes!

Just call me "Lilly"... Throughout the month of October I'll be getting into the Halloween groove. Got started a little early today as there are some Halloween skins on sale. This is Velour's Aida Skin in Dracula (on sale for Fifty Linden Friday) with. the matching Venus body skin I tried the Ghost tone as well, but I think it's just to chalky- white! The hair is Alizze from Wasabi at Kustom9, the leather shorts are from Ricielli at The Sales Room this week, and the top is from Zenith at Uber..

So...square neck or strapless, basically. I'd suggest browsing Seraphim's archives for We Love Role Play (https://www.seraphimsl.com/category/recurring-events/w-z/we-love-role-play/) and Redux (https://www.seraphimsl.com/category/recurring-events/p-r/redeux/) events to find possible brands that specialize in historical clothing, and then do a search to find their in-world location. Neither of them are open at this time, but The Engine Room is till October 20, and may have some brands that you could investigate. Some contemporary brands to check: Asteroidbox, Goth1c0, Oubliette, perhaps Belle Époque (they have some historical costumes as well).

I moved to a stilt that is in a fantastic location and know from experience how difficult it can be to get a stilt on land that is partially in the water, so I am not looking to move immediately. But as Halloween grows closer, I have the urge to decorate, and sunny stilts are the anthesis of dark gloomy Halloween ambience. So I will either be activating an alt for a month or moving to a Victorian, Log Home or Newbrooke. I sure hope they aren't holding ALL the Newbrooke 1024's for Premium Plus...since up till recently they were available like all the other 1024 homes for Premium users. ATTENTION LINDENS and MOLES: Can you let us know what is going on with the Newbrooke 1024's?

Of course, some of these brands may just be "testing the waters". For example, Ghoul, which often doesn't even include Maitreya, is indicated as participating at the event. I can't imagine that a brand that is lukewarm in support of the most popular body in SL is really going to plunge in with a lot of support for a new body, albeit one from an established brand.

Good...I have seen caspervend boxes when doing Area Searches and obviously LL has seen something like that as well!

I sort of suspect the LOD because I was almost completely built out on this round of decor. But it only started happening this weekend, and when I went in briefly this morning, everything was fine.

Wow, it's happening again....

I wonder...as far as I know, there are only two of us in the new stilt region I moved into a couple of weeks ago. I would have thought there would be more folks moving in...

You know what, they were not selectable, so I didn't think it was a case of merely being invisible... But...they have started to show up again.

It's been a couple of days since I've been down to ground level @ my Linden Home, and something strange has happened. About half of my home furnishings have gone missing...the kitchen, the dining table, the room divider fireplace, the room divider in the bedroom, futon in the office, sunroom add-on, the bathtub, shower and sink...likely more, but that's what I see off the bat.

Some items mostly from the just-opened Engine Room event. The coat-dress is from Apricot Paws. The animated (and sparkling) metal wings are a gift from Blue Moon Enterprise, and the googles are a gift from Cubic Cherry. The hair is from Doux at the just-opened Dubai event, and the boots are an old inventory item from Bauhaus Movement.

My avi is in full-on action mode in this leather jumpsuit from Ricielli at the just-opened Access event. The colorful jetski is also available for a special low price at the event.

Designers are all over the place on this one...some push out updates automatically, some inform their customers via groups, and some roll out updated versions of their products that they do not put into the redelivery system (In the past few months, Your Dreams has been doing this with furniture sets).
