I fixed Salty up this morning with her mesh body. The effect was just as stunning as when I first did myself!!!!!!!!! And I've just been round the stores to add a few items of clothing. Here she is................................................still with the system head which looks good.?

9,000 pairs of shoes would be beyond heaven.........especially if they were all fatpacks......hehe.

Erm, well the good news is that my inventory is meticulously ordered with folders and sub folders and sub sub folders.....................? But, um, the "New for sorting" folder is *coughs* quite full. The very new stuff sits visible on the list so I know I haven't allocated it to an outfit................ And then everything else really needs a clear-out, which I plan to do soon, and see if there are any forgotten outfits buried in there. I don't know my numbers until I go back in world........ The thing is, I'd rather be out there in-world than hunched over the closet doing what's essentially housekeeping. Nobody told me it would be like this.......hehe. The very reason which reeled me in is an ongoing battle against addiction, obsession and momentary gratification.............. I resolve to try harder not to maintain my "monkey see, monkey want" buying ethos.................I resolve to go to the store for a specific item and only buy that item. What are the chances of this happening? ................ *deep intake of breath* .......................realistically???? ............................. zero.? I have the very best of intentions at all times, but the worm just eats away at me. My Alt, meant to be kept simple now has a mesh body in her closet waiting my attention......... How did that happen?????????????????

I'm right there with you on this Madelaine. Although my mother has not had a stroke, her cognitive abilities have diminished quite rapidly over the last couple of years, not helped by deafness. As a result of this we have had some hilarious encounters with medics. My mother has always gone googly eyed in the presence of a doctor, and even when normal, never, ever gave a straight answer to even the most mundane question. She would often answer the question that was not asked. Sometimes now she answers with an amused smile which I have to translate........ Me? Am I quirky? Oh yeah you bet I am. Am I a nutcase? Yeah on some days I'm on the fringes. That's why I love it in SL........?

Been catching up on a pile of stuff in my inventory, and also discovering that I can share quite a lot with Salty. When I first made her, my intentions were to keep her simple, but my creative streak is worming away at me and I don't think I can hold back much longer. She deserves some attention........... Question? When you run with your Alt, do you role play that personality, or just be yourself?? I suppose either option.........? Anyway, another red bodicon dress........................red is definitely a favourite of mine. I'm a fire sign, and red is the colour of Aries.....yeah I know it's probably bunkum, but I like astrology. And then a new colour for me. Described as silver but a hint of gold...........and maybe a bit on the short side, but hey, this is SL............

Well, after a couple of sessions on the sliders, it's time to introduce "Salty". I just can't resist this name for her as she's "BelindaSalt"............. She will never be the 'real me', and I've made no attempt to keep my look. She's the Noya Orchid female Avi, with a very distinctive eye colour. It took me a while to get the right hair, but I kept things simple and searched Rezology, which was one of my earliest hair brands, which I still wear sometimes. Just now my intention is to keep her simple but look after her like a sister. Obviously temptation is only around the next corner, and I wouldn't rule out meshing her up if I can keep it reasonable cost. This is soooo tempting just to throw everything at her, but I don't have the time and I'm still looking after myself....haha Starting from scratch with Salty reminded me just how difficult it can be for newbies, and when I'm used to looking at the mesh Belinda, the system Avi is noticeably less well resolved. Anyway, here she is..........*drum roll*...............?

Oh no, what have I started now.............? Maybe I'm still too new to get this..........but I'm so looking forward to playing with my alt. No time tonight due to socialising and dancing!!!!!

Yeah thanks for this Ethan. As a newbie here, that first bake fail was alarming and worrying. It wasn't until later that I discovered the reason. I'm just a bit happier to have a reserve and I don't really mind who knows about it, although I appreciate the tip about being able to come in world incognito! So far I haven't needed a cloaking device. ?

Another step forward I guess. I must say that after my spell as swirling white mist last week, I was freaked out that it could all end just like that......... I know some of you have alts and up until that point I didn't really get it, but now I think I do. So yesterday I set up BelindaSalt.....geddit? She will stay as a system Avi. I'll get her a nice shape when I get time, but I don't want any competition hehe! I've friended her and she's now based in my apartment. It was really odd signing her on for the first time........ So if you happen across "Salty", say hello because it's me!! ??

Just bought two more pairs of my favourite Blueberry jeans and one Ison lace top..........and my favourite spot on Dolce Amore Beach......... What could be better after a gruelling day shopping with bags full of booty to unpack??????????

My favourite dress is the one I bought most recently, until I look back through my inventory and then my favourite dress is the last one I looked at.............. Yeah I'm shallow. I use the same measures for shoes. My favourites I bought today. And hair............... The only thing I don't apply this to is.............*drum roll*...................my friends.?

I'm very happy to let the clever people do all the legwork here......hehe. Its so far over my head that I look up and all I see is sky.........

Reflecting on a difficult "yesterday" spent mostly as swirling white smoke, followed by a long slider session to get myself back in shape..........hehe? Then the second image, although I'm not a big fan of shorts, I did find some that are nice, and my obsession with lace, sets this outfit off quite well!!

Great News.................. I grabbed half an hour to log back in and reset the sliders. I'm back!!!!!! It shows how important it is to keep a note of your slider numbers when stuff like this happens...............?

Thanks Clover, I got myself back, but had to restore the default head shape, as it had gone really weird. My hands have gone big (again) and I have a raised eyebrow............no time to mess now, so a challenge for tomorrow I think....... How very odd..................
