Medicine isn't perfect and some drugs are pulled after their release but I didn't really want to get into a discussion with you about that as there is too much involved. But, Runaway Bunny, do you know what's happening in India right now? They are having to bury people in the street in funeral pyres. (See chart below). With the vaccines, they are trying to defang the virus to make it not a deadly disease but more like a cold. Covid is going to be with us a very long time and maybe forever. I know tons of people who have been vaccinated and there are no long term effects. I think you are believing some kind of propaganda from your country. But, I just wanted you to know, the vaccines are relatively safe or we would have heard something by now. However, no one is forcing anyone in America. My next door neighbor doesn't want to be vaccinated right now, maybe later she feels, so that's just the way it is for her. I think you should study first what the vaccines are attempting to do as I said Covid may be here forever, but it will be more like a cold rather than a deadly or severe disease.

It was brought up in the New York Times article she was a Trump supporter and she wanted it known...oh, nevermind....this says it better because I never said all Trump supporters are conspiracy lunatics. If I thought that, what did I just say about Trump? I mean do you read or just go off spouting crud like you run the place? Block if you don't like as I am going to do you.

This is the first time I've called out a Republican on this division they want to create in our country. Many may be ashamed of Trump and will do or try to find anything to prove Trump or republicans in general were "right" all along. And, you're right, this isn't about who's right or who's wrong, this is about people and the issue of Covid et al should be a bipartisan issue. I have not ragged on Republican's here much, Mitch McConell, Republican Congressional Senator, is the one I blamed as even Trump told McConell to get the stimulus DONE several times. The last time, several weeks before the insurrection at the State Capital, Trump told Mitch McConell one last time to get the stimulus done unless you want to commit party suicide. Even Trump wasn't as bad a Mitch McConnell has been and we have to deal with Mitch Connell for another four years. There is a lot here many of you don't understand about all the division in the U.S. because of some of this "crazy stuff" but some of us who brought things about the U.S. and tried to explain all the crap, in perhaps even just a few short sentences, what was going on here in the USA were replied to on the forum with "we don't care". So, much of what is going on I don't think many from the outside looking in even have a clue what we have been through in America with our Congress. Those from the outside looking in still think all the problems were Trump. That is far, far from the truth. And, I hope I don't "bash" anybody, my intention here was not to do that.

A message came through today as I was uploading textures. It basically said that the fee to upload would be less the higher the level of one's subscription. I believe uploading textures will now be less for Premium and perhaps Premium Plus is coming. Perhaps this lindens buy fee may also come down the higher the level of one's subscription is. It may or may not happen with these fees but to upload textures is NOW less depending on one's subscription level.

Unvaccinated people are not supposed to be reporting there. I live in an apartment building with approx. 100 people. How many are anti-vaxxers here, I don't know. I know my next door neighbor is an anti-vaxxer here but she is the only one I know of. She has had no symptoms of anything. She walks around practically covered up like a surgeon and wears a face shield plastic covering over her face. She may get the vaccine soon, she was scared, she's thinking about it. But, she is fine living with nearly 100 people who have had the vaccine and all of us using the same elevator, mail center and doors, etc. We have far more fear of her than she needs to fear from us. But, she keeps way covered up and the rest of us keep our masks on indoors as well.

Tinies, us small little humanials, do not ban humans either, nor any avatar for that matter. The only rule is bits must be covered. Humans are always welcome. Tinies do not have bits though, but other avatars may, so that rule is given out.

I think she is acting so she can look more Republican to her Republican and probably conservative Christian customers. However, the endangerment of others is very real. The vaccine has mostly been given out to older, non-child bearing women in the first rounds, and it's only been a short while since child-bearing women are getting the vaccine. So, she has a friend who got the vaccine three weeks ago and now her friend isn't pregnant yet? Oh woe is me. I'm not pregnant in three weeks! It must be the vaccine!

If there are stated dress codes, why would anyone want to go not in the appropriate dress unless they didn't get the memo or one is purposely griefing? Still, what the dress codes are should be spelled out, it's only common courtesy if one has specifics and to not expect mind readers. If it's not discriminatory, then why not spell out what the prerequisites are? Are they afraid they will appear discriminatory if they spell it out? You don't have to answer because I still know what you saying - their sim/their rules and I know that. But, actually to the OP, my experience has been different. When I started SL way back in 2006, actually there were many clubs where there were no dress codes and everyone just mixed together. I often describe that old SL as sort of like the bar scene in Star Wars with every kind of creature as well as human. I find it more restrictive now then way back when.

Psssst, in the New York Times article it says she was a Trump supporter. I'm sure she has other reasons than to believe in so short a time it proves it's causing infertility in women. I think she has ulterior motives, plus probably Biden's near 50% proposed capital gains tax. She sounds like a total fruitcake. ETA: She's party politicking to make Biden and what she considers his vaccines look bad. Nonetheless, what she is doing to her teachers, if those teachers want the vaccine, she should be sued for attempting to endanger the lives of others with information that is impossible to have in this short a time frame. But, they don't believe this nor think that way in this short of time. They are party politicking to make themselves look more "Republican".

Are you saying that theme is clearly stated and says what "humans only" or what exactly? A theme I'm not quite sure what you mean. To me a theme is pirates and wenches or something like that, which used to come up in the olden days of SL for contests a lot, certain "themes". Besides, if it says humans only, why would a furry want to go there? They wouldn't. I wasn't sure what you or Doc were saying exactly because from my experience human only places that don't say so aren't exactly pro other kind of avatars. It's like they expect you to know all of SL is human only everywhere that is not role play instead of saying so in their "rules", let alone stating they have any kind of a theme. I think the human only is attempting to keep their biggest populace of avatars happy as that's their cash cow.

Unbelievable. There is no way, in such a short time, that anyone could know about how any vaccine nor drug for that matter is effecting women and their reproductive system. It's like "honey, I just got vaccinated but now, one month later, I'm not pregnant. There must be something wrong with the vaccine making me not able to get pregnant." No one thinks like that. The vaccine has only been around a few months.

Yes and no as I think some really do not want us there and we upset their SL because the two times I went they seemed awkward with their "adult topics" chatting in local because I might have been perceived to be "child-like" and the chatting ceased completely, so there was an air uncomfortableness. That doesn't mean they are anti, but they have another main crowd to please. Plus, some club owners do not want to break the immersion for their customers which I understand. It was just uncomfortable all around. I'm glad I found tiny sims to hang with because it's way more fun, but all are welcome at our live music events or any event really. We have humans who do hang around us because we have some really great musicians and we're cross-over friends networking some live artists in SL. Plus, Keeba Tammas and The Tiny Maniacs are a human and tiny act, so when Keeba plays at human clubs they know tinies are going to show up at the show. Keeba is human, the "maniacs", her band, are all tinies (partly animal). For live music events, most are welcome but I know what Coffee is saying about dragons. If you are going to be a dragon, don't take up most of the dance floor.

Yep, the lettering was different too. You know though, it brought up a nostalgic reaction in me when I made my own log-in screen using the old green and felt real emotions that I think they should at least take that nostalgia to heart and on their 20th Birthday release a bumper sticker, a coffee mug or a t-shirt in the old color which they called "soft green" in their blog with some kind of a saying about remember when or something - I can't think of anything in particular. But, retro is cool as it's part of our memories. If they do pick a new branding altogether, I vote for Indian Red for the Hopi hand, but please don't use generic primary red, it's too generic. I think Indian Red would be sexy. I think SL should be a little more sexy and a little more sassy than generic blue, my 12 cents.

I was in the business of selling antiques and collectibles. Collecting is actually considered to be the No. 1 hobby of the world. It is also believed that everyone collects 'something', sometimes it's just coffee cups or something not of any real monetary value. Even my ex-husband collected baseball cards and comic books as a kid. The horror he had when he found out his Mom threw them out when he first moved out at 19. He went back to his home only to find them thrown out and the Mom saying "I thought you didn't want them anymore". He had comic books he had traded with people so that he got first editions. He was broken-hearted and never got over it as I had to hear about it many, many times. I gave my whole Barbie Doll collection to my cousin; she still has everything. I gave my doll collection to the right person when she was 5. I do not, however, collect Gachas believe it or not. I often find I like the commons more. I just buy what I like in SL. In real life, I collect many, many things. Often what is collectible is a fad or spurred by popularity and can be rather random as to what actually does become a valuable collectible but most are sentimental to the particular person.

Okay, the inworld group for the Happy Weekend Sale is called Access Updates. You might want to ask there. However, both choices given in this thread may have something you like. If you want the exact information, either Happy Weekend Sale Facebook or Access Updates inworld group might have it.

I'm talking about categories that don't exist like one of the ones I recommended - Curly Hair. The Linden was in the thread and asked for people to please put their suggestions and only me and one other person did. There are lots of categories I'd love to see, CHINA > TEASETS, ETC for another one. Oh, and I remember the other category I suggested it was ANTIQUES. But could use ANTIQUES > ENGLISH, FRENCH, SHABBY CHIC, PRIMATIVE/RUSTIC, etc. And, yes, you could be right about NEWEST FIRST. I had forgotten that but still why are statues that are not beards showing up? Anyhow now I remember how I use NEWEST FIRST. I go to HAIR > Women, then I choose NEWEST FIRST. Newest first is also good once in the MP store and one wants to see the newer items of that store. With newest first under HAIR though it can pull up at lot of Gacha items, so you need to check do not show limited edition items. But, I still don't get why statues without a beard are showing up in a catwa+beard NEWEST FIRST search? Their name doesn't have beard in it.

Hash? Not sure what you mean? I did the search using NEWEST FIRST and only one item was added in there, a statue, but it pulled up all the new BOM beards. To the OP: Learning to work all the filters is important to getting good results. If you want to filter out demos you could also put a money limit in the boxes that are available on the left such as 2 linden to 500 linden, and that gets rid of most demos and you don't have to type in "not demo". My usual way to search is I put the keyboard in the box up top that says keyword, type my word in there such as 'boho' and then hit the APPAREL > WOMEN'S. Or, if I want boho furniture, I could type 'boho' in the keyword box and then hit HOME AND GARDEN. And, that brings up many boho items in women's clothing or home and garden. The search can be quite refined I find...it just takes a bit a learning how to make it work for you. I do, however, think MP needs more categories. Discussed the need for more categories on the forum here with a Linden in the thread. The Linden in that thread wanted to know more categories we would like but no one spoke up other to recommend 'mesh head' as a category. I recommended CHINA (Dishes), CURLY HAIR and I forgot the other now but even though the Linden wanted to know, only me and another person spoke up.

Using this search: BUILDING AND OBJECT COMPONENTS > MESH CREATOR TOOLS > AVATAR ACCESSORIES, I found pages and pages of sex related "toys" under RELEVANCE. If turning off Adult doesn't work, you could try a search other than Relevance, such as newest first (means shows newest items first). Otherwise, learn to live with it and make peace with it as this is SL and SL is partly an Adults-Only business. If you are looking for a specific avatar accessory such as a hat, type in the search box the word HAT and that way you can pull up more of what you are looking for.

It's there as I remembered seeing it also. It's not BUILDING COMPONENT and typing in MESH TOOLS though as the OP makes it out to seem. It's BUILDING AND OBJECT COMPONENTS > Mesh Creator Tools > Avatar Accessories (set on Relevance). I didn't try yet with unblocking Adult. Unblocking Adult doesn't always work as I see full frontal nudity under GENERAL all the time.

If you are in BUILDING COMPONENTS as you say, to the left there is a menu to select permissions. Check, copy/modify/transfer and that should pull up just the copy/modify/transfer full perm items in BUILDING COMPONENTS. Doing this may help. I'm gathering you are speaking about non full perm items that show up in BUILDING COMPONENTS? It shouldn't be copy/mod items in there but they do it. So, checking copy/modify/transfer should eliminate those that aren't full perm. I'm thinking this because I've never seen a full perm washer that came equipped with animations before.

It's not an "anything goes" party? I don't know the hidden meaning either...just throwing a guess out there.
