  1. I agree, except it wasn't just happening with me - my next door neighbour and friend was experiencing the same issue and I believe a couple of other people who commented in here, so clearly not an isolated incident but yes, a modem reset often does help.
  2. Neither had I until it started a couple hours ago but was fixed with a modem reset
  3. Yes. Seems to be messing up big time - however, I unplugged my modem for 3 minutes or so; seems fine now.
  4. Actually - last ditch effort - unplugged the modem for a few minutes, then logged in. Seems to have fixed it.
  5. So out of the blue my friend and I have lost our heads. Literally. We couldn't rez a blessed thing - started getting the 'attempt to rez an object failed' thing - so we both re-logged. When we were back in, our heads were missing. And we haven't been able to attach them since. She gave up in disgust and logged out. Can't seem to find any notices about SL going awry atm - unless I missed one somewhere? Anyone else having SL gremlin issues atm?
  6. You can actually type the words "NOT GACHA" in caps at the end of your search so you won't see them. Same with 'NOT DEMO'.
  7. The use of those auto-subscribe thingies is just downright nasty; those are 'marketing harassment' as far as I'm concerned - not unsuspecting customers who've been tricked into them and want to be removed from the blasted things. Frankly, I think the human gene pool needs a fresh dose of chlorine.
  8. No pun intended, right? lol I do feel your pain though.
  9. It's not a tough ask but people can be so stubborn that they refuse to separate rl from sl.
  10. On the bright side, I've often seen furries and ferals at Big Daddy's - they're there to have fun same as anyone else and they seem to be treated like everyone else, so I can't see it being a problem for Kawaii. Muddy's always seemed a bit more 'uptight' to me than Big Daddy's, but that's just my personal observation
  11. Nah - people like that have tunnel-vision; they only discover reality when it's too late.
  12. Let me put it this way: they can't take it with them when they go
  13. Hope it was just a genuine mistake by the creator but if it wasn't, then it's a dishonest and despicable way of forcing customers to buy from you.
  14. Yep, that would get me right royally narked - and unless it was a genuine mistake by the creator, then I call it a scam.

  16. Thank you, Chin - I did that in the end, but stopped at 'one little piece' so it's not exactly split in half (more like 70/30) but I can live with that
  17. no...lol I meant holding the mouse while trying to drag the yellow box/lines thingy alllllllll the way over the chunk of the parcel i wanted to separate, which i couldn't do since my screen is little and - oh never mind. You had to be there. Figured it out eventually
  18. Or maybe I'm a bit more dense than I thought I was but I'm trying to split a 8192sqm parcel into two. The whole parcel is under water. Have read all the destructions I could find; I know how to join two parcels together - piece of cake when it's just that straightforward but this is driving me spare. How the heck do you hold onto your mouse long enough to drag a yellow box over the entire section you want to create a parcel out of when your screen just isn't that big and you have to stop and start all over again? Don't laugh! haha I already know how daft I sound! Do I just need giants hands or something? This isn't an issue Torley Linden ever raised in his tutorials...he only demonstrates the easy stuff. For guys with big hands....
