Absolutely right, Selene. By attempting to 'force' residents into creating an FB account just to access some lame item they're flogging, demonstrates just how far behind the times they are. As far as I'm concerned, no amount of cleverly arranged mesh pixels can ever tempt me to join something as asinine and intrusive as FaceBrat.

I wouldn't call it a 'lack of creativity'; good quality items aren't necessarily plentiful in SL, so if someone asks me where I got such-and-such and what is it called, I tell them. Copying your decor isn't so much a nuisance as someone insisting on wearing the same hair and clothes as you - twinsies anyone? haha

Yes, I see your point and agree up to a point; it's just very difficult to imagine someone with a reputation to uphold would - or could - stoop to that level. Perhaps I'm too trusting. I still take people at face value and see no reason to suspect their word isn't their bond. Faceless corporates, on the other hand, often tend to prove themselves otherwise.

Then you of all people should understand my stance in defense of residents against the officious treatment of them from the start when they want to withdraw their funds. It's not a 'hate train'; I've never been a member of that mentality but neither am I backwards in coming forward when corporates treat ordinary residents with disdain and mistrust. It's vile, rude, buffoonish and entirely unnecessary. Surely you can understand that?

@nathkyo The other thing to perhaps think over is the very real possibility of becoming a creator. Creating and selling items will pretty much bring you into contact with people along the way and in any event, depending on what kind of content you create, chances are you'll end up being too busy to notice the rest of SL anyway. Aside from others already explaining all the reasons why Tilia won't affect you (aside from agreeing - ugh - to something you may never use), it would be sad to lose you. Heck, feel free to IM me inworld if you'd like to chat with someone

Omgosh, Lindal - I'm so sorry! Never saw your reply (late response alert!) Yes, I found the outfits folder to be a major, major contributor towards an inflated inventory and I tend to flush it out regularly, but like you, I haven't found it to contribute to any problems with tp's or slower logins - perhaps it's because we keep our inventory so well organized and keep the outfits folder on a highly restricted diet?
