    Reasonable discussion... keywords! You guys have failed so many times trying to have reasonable discussions. How many chances do you want? Why does LL have to waste labor time and money so that some can have a soapbox? You guys discuss so much and it becomes a vicious circle solving nothing. Start your own talk shows on your own site. This is not the place. There are no multiple choice options. It's not allowed.

    I'm wondering because a lot of people tend to wear script heavy things such as jewelry, genitalia and various add ons. So, will they still affect me if I derender them?

    Since LL wants to sanitize the forums, which I don't blame them, why doesn't someone start a discord group to discuss anything? Why doesn't someone start an in world discussion? Instead of trying to overturn things, would be less stressful to make your own platform.

    Peeve: people who demand to be listened to and say it is Freedom of Speech. Yeah, you have Freedom of Speech but if we don't wish to listen to you, we walk away. We have Freedom of Choice.

    I agree that it hasn't been all bad. There's been positive too. However LL is making a private business decision. Imagine this: you're having a yard sale, people come and buy your things and do small talk. It's light and safe. Then others come with chairs, coffee and start discussing world events. This starts debating, arguing and people leaving. You have a right to get people back on track for YOUR yard sale. Your home, you're trying to sell things and make some money. Do you want people to start picking up things and starting debates on them? LL is a for profit business. They have a right to want to focus on their business plans and goals.

    Peeve: little bugs that commit suicide by trying to dive into your eyes or up your nose. I attract bugs more than people I know. I might as well put a crown on and be Queen of the bugs. Lol

    We all have to learn to agree to disagree. Pick your battles. You can't save the world, some don't even want saving. If one has a fire for social justice, then go take action where it's needed. Debating here off topic won't change the world or even a neighborhood. Go to the battlefield, this is not it.

    I agree. I'm an admin for an author that has 2 FB pages and 2 groups. One page has over 2 million likes. The rules for his pages and groups is to stay on topic. An excerpt is posted and we discuss it in the groups. I have to heavily moderate due to people trying to slide in off topic comments. Yes, it's human nature but it creates chaos for the members who are trying to focus. We have to run a tight ship to keep things running smoothly and focused. It's a pleasant and safe place.

    For years LL allowed so much on these forums. People had so many chances to try to get along and compromise. It hasn't happened because too many want to use the forums as their soapbox. Let Second Life be a fantasy world as it should be. An escape from RL. A place of creativity, fun, and so much more. ❤️

    I agree with the new rules. If people want to talk about things other than Second Life, there's tons of forums and groups out there. While I do enjoy discussing other topics, LL has a right to narrow down the forums. It's become a food flinging talk show at times. It's not LL's responsibility to babysit and separate people from each other. TLDR: Find a way to whine and tantrum elsewhere.

    I agree. Many have become lazy in helping out fellow people. Self absorbed. However, there are also many doing things behind the scenes, out of the spotlight, and their deeds are not seen. Peeve: When there's way too many people outside in the neighborhood being loud and obnoxious.

    I've been making it a habit to stop and pray when I hear/see it's needed. Then I tell them that I just prayed. You're right though, so many say it but never take action.

    Try stop animations and revoke permissions, it's under Avatar then Health. Also right click your avatar and find reset skeleton. Relog. See if that fixes it.

    I have no problems with you . I do have a problem with someone putting intentions in my mouth by me using the word race.

    Ok, so.. what if a black person used the word race? Does that mean that they are racist? What if a Spanish person used it, is that racist? Oh wait.. only if a white person says it. Gotcha. Because only white people are bad when it comes to using the words that so many find offensive. I bet saying "bi-racial" is ok too for anyone who is not full Caucasion? But if a white person says it. Oh my Gawd. My cousin is biracial and identifies as exactly that.. Biracial. She says it in all of her youtube videos. Imagine that! Prove me wrong.. waits for it. Anyone can feel free to PM me.
