    I’ve been calling them sims since 2007. I could care less that some linden gets butthurt over the term. Someone should tell him his “regions” are not real and are in fact simulated regions. As for the term region I’ve always called groups of related and connected sims regions. That’s not going to change either. If LL ends up making their sims bigger maybe I’ll reconsider. But something that can be traversed in less than 5 seconds is hardly a region.

    For me the premium would be last to go. I did give up my private land plot and donated my 2048 to a community a few of my friends manage. They gave me a plot to live on and the 650L a week or whatever it is is enough to satisfy my shopping habit when things get a bit tight. In the US it hasn't been as bad as Europe. Our gas has dropped significantly but I am curious how that will hold up in the winter. We'll see I guess.

    I generally comparison shop everything to Fashionatic. They have similar fashion and quality (and i think price?) as blueberry. I've been buying from them off and on since like 2017. The creator mostly is original mesh however does mix in the occasional pre-made. They typically do many part ensembles (generally 4-5 piece outfits) for around 2400?. So it's very hard for me to look at a relative new creator of similar quality and buy their single piece for the same price that someone else I am more familiar with sells megapacks. And FN is at the very high end of what I'd be willing to spend for fatpacks as it is. I generally hit up the events so by the time they hit the 60L shelves I already own them. Just livin and a learning lol. So lately, Ive been doing the weekend sales and trying to contain myself to just the big quarterlies (which seem to happen all at once....) I didn't intend to derail the thread into some shopping convo lol. I was in the car getting ready to leave work when I was typing previously and never finished my point. Where I meant to go was that I think now would be a good time for newer or less established creators to tinker and experiment with how they value their pieces when consumers are less inclined to drop money into a game.

    I figure a lot of the more established creators have already discovered selling for less yields more anyways. I wouldn’t have a way of proving this or anything. Just from observation it seems most of the veteran creators tend to be cheaper than new comers or less established creators. For instance, just a couple weeks ago I saw a new vendor. Well I don’t know if they are new, just new to me and I never saw them at this event before. But anyways, they were selling a top fatpack and pants fat pack separately for 2500 each. And I’m thinking what a way to drop the ball at a pretty popular event that your outfit would be far more expensive than anyone else here. Granted, it was a nice outfit but not thrice as nice as other things there.

    Raising prices wouldn’t increase revenue. It would actually decrease it for non-essentials. Since people are less likely to spend money on non-essential goods. Generally speaking non-essential products tend to go down in price during economic times like these not up.

    More of a reason not to spend money in a video game. Especially if vendors are reaching for an excuse to raise their prices. SL > Me > Dragonflight (winter hibernation) 😝

    Unless creative suite and/or maya go up in price or something I see no reason for in world prices to go up due to inflation. As for the exchange it hasn’t really budged. In fact I find myself getting more L nowadays. I’ve been buying at 251 pretty consistently lately where as just a few months ago I was buying at 248. If someone is claiming inflation for raising their prices I’d find that to be very disingenuous and probably chuckle and not bother with that vendor again.

    I believe its showing the name of the owner (basing this off of the name of the last person to leave a review on the product) or possibly the last person to use it. As far as I know voodoo doesn't have a Smooth Dance. Only thing close to that I can find on MP is Smooth Dancer created by someone else.

    I had it enabled for awhile then it somehow got de-synced from the app so I had to disable it.

    Sorry shopping and dressing up is a game to me that I enjoy. Mix and matching outfits, telling friends about deals. All that. Is basically what I “play” for. Plus “game”comes off the tongue much easier than “virtual world” and is easier to understand. Besides, SL isn’t the only “game” that could be also considered a virtual world. If you’ve ever followed or watched any nopixel GTA RP you’d know what I mean.

    Catznip also does this. If there’s a photo in the folder you can hover over the folder in your inventory and a pop up of the photo will appear.

    I’m not sure what point you are trying to make. I was just stating people are being genuine when suggesting you have a decent video card. And people who have good pc’s don’t necessarily have some special spoon in their mouths. You prioritize food and rent. I prioritize a good pc since it’s my hobby and well I live with roommates and drive a used car. If I found a silver spoon in my mouth I would probably pawn it and buy 2 more RAM sticks for my PC with the money. And install them while eating a plain ham sandwich or some ramen noodle.

    I think people are genuine when suggesting they get a better video card. Yes you can certainly lower your settings and revert the game back to 2007ish quality but at that point why not just go play a N64? Shoot now since I think about it Goldeneye at least had mirrors...

    There’s certainly a level of balance you have to find. Like with any drug. Of course there’s the side effect of inducing the more literal form of depression. Like when you’re depressed you didn’t get things you wanted to do done because you smoked pot all day. From my own experience it has worked for the better but others it won’t work for. I know a lot of people I’ve talked to swear by Wellbutrin for instance but it didn’t work for me.
