    If you want them to make a higher wage and be less of a bargaining chip against higher wage workeers then help them become legal. Otherwise those “overlords” will keep having an influx of low wage workers no matter how strict we are at the border. Immigrants always find a way.

    I don’t even bother with cable anymore. I liked YouTube tv back when it was 35/mo. Now it’s 65? I get enough from Hulu, Disney+ and Amazon prime. I don’t feel like I’m missing anything.

    Getting sick along with my entire household within days of each other from a virus that “ended” months ago or never actually existed.

    Yes, I don’t understand why. The ones on the Boston menu had shrimp from what I can remember. I think it’s because they have a lot of similar appetizers. They still have dynamite shrimp which is decent and the chicken wraps which is kind of like the Asian tacos except with a lettuce wrap.

    One of my favorite restaurants to eat at for much of the past decade or so is PF Changs. Gradually overtime they have removed nearly all of my favorite items. I think only 2 remain. Sichuan Bloody Mary (spicy Bloody Mary) Flaming Wontons Asian Tacos all gone 🥲 Also gone are the awesome staff that would feel bad because I ate so slow and they thought it was because of them and comped me because of it. (I’d intentionally wait until I was nearly done with my appetizer before ordering my meal so not to get it all at once.) They’d also comp a round of drinks for me whenever I brought friends or family. I still take my mum out to eat there every now and then but its not the same.

    I’m going to play it by ear but if it turns out to be a haven for hate speech it will likely go down the tubes with other “free speech” sites like Gab and whatever Trump was trying to start up.

    Are we talking per capita? Considering US states are comparable to countries in Europe it would be fair to compare states. I live in Mass which has about the same co2 emissions as Germany per capita and is 48th of the 50 states.

    Maybe because the block function doesn’t really do much. People can still see your posts, react to your posts and respond to your posts. So what’s the point?

    US Tax dollars dont cover this. For some people sure but for most no. These are all mostly run by private industry in the States. Except for maybe VA hospitals?

    I think the best live performance I’ve seen was Aerosmith. It was in 2001. They were 2nd to last on the card (Marilyn Manson closed) at one of those radio station weekend concerts with a mix of bands. I wasn’t even a fan of theirs or anything. I think I was there to see the group Live (Lightning Crashes) who had already played earlier but Aerosmith was amazing. You could tell they’ve been doing it for 30-40 years by that point. I would love to remember seeing System of a Down, Greenday, Everlast and Cold Play. But I just remember Live, sobering up and my ears popping during Aerosmith and not really wanting to hang around for Manson at that point. I ended up staying for Dope Show and then leaving.
