I love that "voice verified" thing. It's nobody's business whether you use voice or not, or whoever is at the real life side. Only two times I would say it is, is if it's leading to a relationship or if it's a "nice man" paying for the attention of a "nice lady" When you get people wittering on at you to voice, I tell them I am voice verified. My voice is verified that I'm a dude 😎

Please bear in mind that many Residents have annual accounts, and it may take many months for the account status to expire if they have chosen to leave or use a different account. Land cannot be reclaimed simply due to inactivity.

you *can* actually file a ticket with support. Use category "abandoned land" and explain your reasons. Support will look, and if possible, release the land for sale. to save you being spammed, here is the link to the article from Linden Lab:

Personally I don't see the issue with profiles being publically viewable. Unless you're stupid enough to put RL info in your profile, what's the problem? Even some of the Lindens have stated it's not information that can identify you 🙄

If the audio is off in the viewer, IE unticked, the IP address of an avatar won't be visible. Or if the user is using the media filter, the stream won't play unless the user clicks allow or whitelist, which will stop the IP address being visible.

It's not IP Bans, LL don't use IP Bans, it's based on your hardware configuration.

who's pushing? I offered you a chance to actually see the correct facts instead of the incorrect ones. Even offered you a guided tour. and it wouldn't be too late. If you read up on the correct facts about the media filter, you'd see it lists the url BEFORE it plays it and you have to specifically approve the new stream. It can't play until you allow it.

but unlike the other bot controllers of SL, at least Bonniebots actually identified themselves...........................

The media filter is the secuity check on the media stream that shows you whAt stream is attempting to play, so you can check it for any dodgy url's. so you leaving it off actually means you're not checking each stream. kind of defeats the object.

You still were giving wrong information out about it. Get the tracker hud, go visit one and you'll see. Just so you have the correct information. Media filter ON. check the various link for those that say verify is in use , or not, and you'll see. In fact, I'll even take you there inworld so get yourself online, and I'll help you establish the correct facts!
