Actually, my therapist is the one who suggested Second Life to me almost eleven years ago because she thought it would be therapeutic. I had recently went from teaching university classes full time to being home bound. She thought it would be a useful social outlet and she was very right. I pretty much loved it from the moment I created my first account.

I don't mind sharing my experience with you. I won't discuss things openly here, but I will email you later today.

I most likely wouldn't of heard them knock since I'm deaf. If I had, I wouldn't even open the door for people I don't know, especially ones like these. If I was out of my mind that day and opened the door, the fact they had been observing me would of made my skin crawl. I wouldn't accept the disc and would make sure all my doors/windows were locked after I closed the door in their face.

Mostly I just love spending time with family and friends in SL. Hobby wise I love to take photos, shop, sail and explore. I love how it is impossible for me to ever be bored in SL since there is so much to do.

I don't even want to know how much work and how long that would take to accomplish. 😊 I think a lot of the problem is people aren't aware of the covenant or guidelines that have been verified here in the forums. While taking a walk yesterday with my daughter, I saw a house with knee deep snow in their yard along with ostentatious decorations. I think I may send them an informational note card of where to find proper information of what is allowed. I know I would want others to be kind enough to do this for me if I wasn't aware of some rule I was breaking.

My ex husband did this to me here for two years on my original account that was created in 2009. We divorced at the end of 2015 and at that time I was pretty naive still because I didn't know how to AR anyone. I was also embarrassed to share what I was going through with anyone so kept it to myself. I ended up leaving SL for almost a year and after much thought deleted my old account. I came back with Lyrical since she was an alt my ex didn't know about since I made her in 2016. I wouldn't advise others to handle harassment the way I did though. If this person is causing grief with alts, I would AR them and take the advise others have imparted in creating name lists, etc. Linden Lab takes griefing others very seriously and I'm so thankful for this. Now I wish I had handled my own situation differently. I hope things get resolved because no one deserves to be harassed.

When I'm having a few really rather tough days, I stop and listen to this song to shake all the negative off. This is a fun song to sign along with. I even have this linked in my profile inworld! 😊

Oh gosh no. I would probably blush and feel super guilty if I used swearing even as a password. I'm too much of a goody two shoes. I do admire anyone who would be rebel enough though.

I didn't even know that was a possible thing to do. That is a creepy thing to do to a person. I don't even want to know what would motivate someone to do that to another.
