  1. Have you tried logging into another region? Sometimes I have the same issue, and changing the region I log into fixes it.
  2. Yep. I suspect a lot of people in this category are going to either switch to the Cool VL Viewer, or just drop out of SL entirely. As for the mobile viewer, it is based on Unity. Nothing could possibly go wrong with this!
  3. You mean anybody who has older hardware and can't afford an upgrade? My benchmarks for PBR viewers on the older iGPU machines I have tested don't give me good feelings about this. You don't see it now because a lot of the people aware of the coming updates are enthusiasts with better hardware (myself included to be fair,) but there is absolutely going to be pushback once Firestorm implements this.
  4. For anyone reading, the viewer Henri is talking about is Alchemy.
  5. Hi! I can do this very easily, within 1-2 days. I IMed you in-world too ๐Ÿ˜„
  6. I have had this issue on and off for about 2 years now, I think. It seems to be ISP-dependent. I got a VPN to bypass the issue, and so far it has worked.
  7. My transaction history does. I don't know if I ever got them back or not, it is hard to keep track of so much stuff
  8. I just read this, but it looks like LL has taken action on the support ticket. All the reviews left by the stolen accounts are gone, and I have been contacted by one of the stolen accounts I named in my support ticket. He said he got his account back and LL fully refunded him.
  9. Hi, I run a store that resells old gacha items. Within the past 2 weeks I have observed random accounts with no prior purchase history spending tons of money on items in my store and leaving bad reviews in broken english. Since their profile descriptions are usually written in fluent english, the accounts are sometimes >5 years old, and they have all been following this same pattern, I have come to the conclusion that the accounts are being stolen. Maybe I am being paranoid, but I would really rather be safe than sorry given that some of these accounts are spending thousands of L$. What is the best action that I can take given the situation? EDIT: In case this is not taken seriously, one of the people was able to get their account back and contacted me about her missing money, amounting to about L$100,000 (yes, that much, no extra zeros.) I gave it all back to her, and told her I would try to figure out what was going on.
  10. This is also happening to me whenever one of my no-copy listings goes out of stock. Category is wiped, and I am unable to change it back.
  11. Try using a VPN. If the VPN provider you choose has multiple servers, try connecting to several in different countries if the first one doesn't work. If you are eventually able to connect this way, the problem may be your ISP.
  12. having this problem too :c It also happens when I try to use Reports -> Orders, unfortunately If you have email notifications for MP turned on, you will still be able to see who is buying your stuff via email
  13. I have had this issue intermittently between now and the last 4-5 months, despite filing a support ticket about the issue. I suspect it has something to do with my ISP throttling traffic to SL. I am usually able to connect via a VPN, especially if the VPN server is located in a country outside the US.
  14. This is a problem I have been having too, and I live in the US. If it still isn't working, you should be able to log in if you use a VPN. There are free ones, such as ProtonVPN.
  15. I am unable to log in from my home network, but able to log in from a public hotspot in another nearby town. I have tried Firestorm, Singularity, and Corrade, none of which work. When I run Firestorm from the terminal, it prints this when the connection fails: 2021-10-15T01:35:41Z WARNING #CoreHttp# llcorehttp/_httppolicy.cpp(434) stageAfterCompletion : HTTP request 0x7f75eed25800 failed after 0 retries. Reason: Forbidden (Http_403) I'm unsure if this is even within LL's control or not, since it seems to depend on the location I am logging in from.
  16. Hypothetically random numbers could still be generated by using llGenerateKey(), converting the first hex value to an integer, and normalizing it to whatever max value needed for the gacha machine. And if all methods of RNG are broken, people could still use bots.
  17. Existing gacha items you have already purchased can still be resold, but obviously that canโ€™t go on forever since supplies will run out. At the end of the day, we resellers are just a bunch of unnecessary middlemen. On the bright side, the value of your gacha items may go up depending on whether or not the creator chooses to re-release their creations as non-gachas, so pay attention to what creators are saying.
  18. There is no way to automatically do it unless you develop a browser addon specific for this purpose :c
  19. It's alright. At least now I know that I am not the only one...
  20. I would like to know what they are, because I am quite sick of... 1) someone trying to get into my pants every time I go somewhere, and 2) people with relatively perverted interests congregating at what should be an otherwise nice place. Any information would be most appreciated.
  21. You are probably better off not bringing it up whatsoever. Also, do you ask for personal info such as age, location, etc.?
