i would reccomend you first go look around at the Marketplace stores for styles you like. ( you find the link to MP at the Shopping menu at top of this forum) If you found some, look if they have demo's, and try those. And if you like go look at a inworld store, the links are mostly at the products page After you are sure, buy a nice set. Most usefull are often clothes you can make combinations with other sets, you will have multiple looks with only a few items. The same for skins and shapes, or if you have the courage... mesh body, but think you will need a lot of support for that last, mesh bodies are often a bit difficult to handle for "young" avatars who have mostly not a lot SL skills.

i think you had a update in your firewall or virusprogram. SL voice is most likely blocked, find it in the rules and see if it's blocked. If not you can try removing the rule, reboot/restart and add the rule again.

yes ALL resellers will have to close their exchange. you already have the reason why they try to blame LL or the resellers... they ( the customers) dont WANT to get a CC or paypal, while they for 99.9999999999% sure have a bankaccount to verify paypal. So if they don't want it?...well..easy... no L$. If you need information about skrill, they have a quite clear website.

i assume you managed to be on sl for quite some time on your old machine. Now you wait for a new one it's suddeny unbearable? It won't be worse as before. Hold your breath for a few weeks. Nobody here has a cure for impatience If everything is put to low, the only thing that will make it better is turn it off.

you can write 25 pages here or more, but as long LL doesn't act on your tickets you can do nothing against it. There are always two sides to stories like this, we only hear yours. Not that i say what you write isn't as you experience it, but ther might be things you or your bf says/does you don't mention here, or he even not tells you. as last..... even you spend thousends and hate to do it, if it's the only way to get peace in your sl, start new accounts and move on.

we can do totally nothing. But one thing wonders me, they only can get the RL information and email when it's voluntarely given by one of you. It's been not a very wise thing to do as you see now. There is NO other way they are able to get the information. If LL doesn't act on your tickets it could be they see no reason ór ability to do something against it. The only thing you really can do is ban/mute .... If it's as desparate as you state, you could both consider leaving your account and start a new as only left option, even you don't like to get that answer

i don't agree ... nearly everybody can use paypal or creditcard, that they added skrill is a nice addition. You can't expect companies add paymentoptions for every possible method. They would need a total department of employees to handle that. In multiple posts in the past some stated they simply refuse to get a confirmed paypal... well... thats a personal choice, but can't blame LL for that.

sounds to me something during installing goes wrong in your system. Perhaps try right click the exe file and install/run as administrator. You can try the same with the installed program, richt click the icon an drun as administrator. If you want to give more information about your system you can copy the info from your machine in the help menu from the viewer.

you can reset your pw without knowing your email adress at the login page, follow the link below the loginfields , if your only forgot wich email, you can let LL send a email to it by using your login name only, so you get the mail in the right box. If those don't help there's no other option than a ticket. Most likely they will ask you for rl information you used to sign up / secret question ...so if you put those in the ticket already they most likely can reset it quite quickly

Abigail is right, if you didn't log in the week previous to the stipend you won't get the 50L$ I have a old account with that privilege too, he still gets it, my reactivated older account doesn't, at reactivation the new rules apply.

Try to find a card with higher second numbers eg 640/740/ or more... i use a 640 on my pc, gives a decent performance and a 740 in my laptop what runs SL in a very decent way.

i don't mean it blunt or bad, but if you want to drive a car you need a license if you want to play sl you need a pc/mac, and if you want L$ you need paymentoptions as the company asks. You clearly state you are not willing to do that, so the result is you can't buy L$. Change your choice and you can buy L$.

when you turn messages to email off, you will turn ALL off, also normal IM will not get to your email anymore. It can be more usefull to change the setting in the groups profiles, turn off notices. The only thing is you won't get it inworld anymore too, but you could manually check the most interesting groups when you'r inworld.

perhaps i just don't understand it, but why not just pay it before you leave? As far i know nearly all rental systems accept payments upfront for a certain time, most even 4 or more weeks. I would NEVER ask another vai to pay for me, the risk, even with "friends" is too big they leave with the money. Dont tell that friend won't do it, because it just happens.
