That's not really true. Bento was released in december 2016 and Maitreya added bento hands in april 2017, after Slink and some others. Had to get Vista hands to enjoy new bells and whistles for the time being, so I remember it well. It's probably deformer animation in the new Belleza Body as others already suggested. All of them or just one is the question. But it wouldn't be the first time when Belleza creators released something broken. Their male body's bento hands still look pretty awful too. And I won't even start about the whole broken, then semi-abandoned Venus body.

It's not always about feeling better than others, although some do, that is unfortunate truth. For example I don't like furries myself, they creep me out, a lot more than they should be, but what can I do about it? Some don't like spiders or other insects, I don't like furries. And while I tolerate them being in the same neutral sim (stores for example) just fine, since there's no interaction involved, I wouldn't want to go and dance in place that is filled with them, nor do I wan't to constantly look around and block ones that teleported in after I did. And I don't have to do it, thankfully there's more clubs that don't allow furries in, than ones that do. And tons more of other places that ban all kinds of other avatars for any reason. But you won't go complain if a certain "gay only" club will ban your female avi, would you? Also RP sims that will ban you (past shop areas) if you don't fit to that RP theme appearance wise. Or do you think it's fine if some sci-fi avi will jump into medieval sim and start ruining the storyline/RP by just being there and then demand the equal rights too? There's also quite a few fetish clubs with appropriate dress codes, based on their themes (just like in RL. crazy, right?). And yes, they do warn people who don't meet their rules and if people ignore it - they get ejected/banned. It is "exclusivity" and feeling "better than others" too? I'd say it's the lack of respect to place's rules from some people who visit it. While I agree that is silly when people come to "free for all" club and then ask to kick avis that are against their taste, they just just read club's rules first (given that club owner/management bothered to list a clear rules at accessible place), it's completely fine for any sim/parcel/club/etc owner to set their rules. And if it's against your beliefs.. well, tough luck, no one's obligated to share your point of view on this or any other topics. You do things your way, others will do their things their way, as long as it's not against laws and LL ToS - it's up to people. So, again, it's nothing about feeling better than others, there is a human being behind each avi after all and they are free to be what they want in SL and I have no problem with that at all. What I have problem with, is when they demand others to accept them and their choice no matter what. And that's something I won't do already. Be a vampire, a furry, a transformer, anything else, but without me and other people who dislike such company. And I'm not TC, but I think I can answer what would be different about that club. Those who don't have bento viewers could come there, but most likely wouldn't like what they see (or, rather, not see), making it "free to visit, pointless to stay" for those. As for this club idea/topic. It's unnecessary I believe. I've got bento stuff a while ago, during FS alpha testing and back then I kept getting endless IMs about missing head and hands. After official FS release it went down a lot and in the last week it maybe was 1-2 IMs a day. So I suppose people slowly update, as the number of bento items slowly increasing, there's already at least 5-6 bento female heads, a couple of male heads, wings, tails, hands and jewelry for it and hands from well know mesh body creator are coming soon too. At this rate it's people who refuse/can't update will have to create their "bento-free" clubs, so they can actually see each other fully. /sarcasm

Yup. I was going to post in another thread, but it was deleted. So I'll just copy and past it here. Pretty much the same here. I don't feel like I want to even log to post most of the time, but I do read forums almost every day. Lately general discussion forum became unreadable because of that person. It's not facebook, nor twitter and this is not reddit either. There's 30 topics on the first page (+3 sticky). 13 of them made by the very same person and excuse me if I'm being blunt, but they are stupid. Pretty much same stuff over and over again "hey guys, look what a picture I posted" or "I'm too lazy to even read my older thread, better post a new one". Kinda funny how some people even defend him/her. This is pure spam fest, nothing else. Also it's worth to mention that I think he/she didn't posted a single time in someone's else thread. Shows how much he/she wants to learn or even communicate. "Me me and me again" much? And yes, there's a huge difference between being a newbie (we all were ones at some point) and a hopeless/selfish/lazy noob. When I have a free time I always try to help newbies in my usual sims (mostly RP stuff, so curious newbies and just visitors have a lot of questions sometimes). I ignore or even block noobs though. Wtb>ignore/block function on forums. It's 2014, every forum must have basic functions like that. Just one simple thing like that and it will resolve all problems.

My bet is on a typical coil whine. Not the very rare issue at all. In fact, most of GPU manufacturers don't even consider this as an issue. Do you have a windows 7 by any chance? If so, do a "windows experience index" test, if it's what I think, then card would do exactly same noises during the GPU test phases. I have 670 too, it's making the same noises, but only when I'm logging to SL, on "loading world" part. Or if I reach some crazy 300fps in some old game (if I forgot to limit those via vsync). Had 580 before, it was making same noises as well. 480 before that was 100% silent though.

Well, I'm gonna wait for a few days, maybe a few weeks to see how it goes and if any exchange services gonna open again. But if not, it's "bye bye SL" pretty much. LL seems to have no <bleep> clue what are they doing recently. Every new change, be it for server, viewer or ToS does more harm than anything good. Just let SL to live in peace for the last few years, your miserable attempts to change something do nothing at all, sims amount droping month after month. And with this change (unless 3rd party services gonna re-open soon) it will be even worse. For instance I don't own/rent a sim, but I do donate some L$ to a few of my favorite ones. No $ for me = less donations for those sims. And before anyone would ask. I do have my reasons to not use CC/PP here, already burnt on this once, never will do again. And I'm not gonna open new CC just to pay for SL.

And like always, when someone's whining about something, there will be people whining about whiners. Congrats, now you're the one of them. And I'm all for that whining. Spread the love adbock plus around. More people will know about it the better. Props to LL for that too, even if they will push 5-10% of marketplace users in to adblock, they already doing the good job. I found out about adblock few years ago in about same situation. Two of my favorite sites decided to put some disturbing and flashing ads everywhere where it was possible (they had some ads before, but non disturbing ones). Some pictures were really terrible, so I've started to look for solution and found about adblock. Thanks to those sites, I also found that I don't need to watch 30sec ads to watch 60 sec vid on youtube anymore. As for the fact itself and who's business is that. Yes, it's LL's business, but it just shows how they treat us, that's it. They didn't even put any system to hide ads from paying (premiumd) users I believe. You know, like streaming sites do. Google twitch.tv and check how their subscription/turbo system works. If you're too lazy, then short version: you subscribe either to certain channels or just buy "turbo" for 15$ a month and you never see ads, but system still count ads you would've seen, so streamers and site still getting profit.

SL is so empty after ~12:00 AM server time it's not even funny. Even the most of "night clubs" and various adult sims are kinda empty or almost empty past that time. It makes me wonder who actually going to those adult sims, adult europeans or kids from NA/SA. :smileyvery-happy: I don't mind it though, I love exploring empty sims without getting interrupted every minute (like it happens in very busy sims at peak hours). Ok, back to the topic. I think price for land/sims are too high for these days. For the past 6 or so months about 15 of sims I've used to visit every now and then were closed and most of those for the exact same reason - too expensive. Way too expensive. And donations/rent places for shops are not enough to cover it, sometimes it won't cover up even half of the rent's cost. And sim owners also need money to keep their sims fresh, so it's buying new stuff, hiring builders (if they can't build themself) and so on. Although when the sim get closed, it's visitors probably will try to find an alternative. So I've seen some sims which never had too many people suddenly got lots and lots of people. But it's still a bad thing. The less sims in SL = the less stuff to do for the biggest part of SL's community - consumers. I know some people will start telling the usual stuff "SL is what you want it be, so start building, scripting etc and have fun that way". Yeah, it might help to those with interest for it, but most of people are just consumers, like in real life. We don't want to create, we want to relax and have a good time, especially in SL where we can run way from RL's problems. So I'd say LL will have to reduce prices significantly sooner or later to keep SL's alive. I just wonder when it will happen and how many sims will be closed before it happens.

I don't think it's dead, but it's not growing as well. I think there's some data at other SL forums which shows that every month SL loses sims. Less sims = less to do = less people = even more empty sims which will be closed eventually = etc. SL won't really die anytime soon, but it may and it will become less interesting for sure.

Never tried to submit a bug report before, so I just notified sim's owner about that issue. That for sim I care about, the rest... There's just too many of those, even around the place in my OP it's at least 50-60 sims I think and there's more. I think LL need to fix the core issues or it will keep happening at random places all the time.

Yeah I was looking for a few sims to explore last night ( which I wanted to explore before, but never found time for that ) and couldn't find those using search. At 1st I thought they got closed too... Then I checked my teleport history and teleported in this way. Places search in Catznip works too, I found that later.

So I actually had a lil break from SL for about a month and after I got back last week and untill now, there's a bug on the world map. Some sims just doesn't display on the world map at all, although there are green dots still and I can tele in just fine and mini map still displays everything. Some are private lands and some are on the mainland. I guess I'll just post a picture of how it looks. I can't say it bothers me that much, but still would be nice if that bug was fixed.

ORLY, that is a high end PC config? Sorry, didn't know it. /sarcasm 1. That is NOT high end PC. It's a starting level for a good PC which will run everything including SL fine for a few years (it's better to buy one decent PC once 3 or so years, than buy bad PC and change it's part every year ). 2. I dare you to post how many FPS do you get with your 100$ or 4 year old card on Ultra settings + tweaks ( you said MAX and it is MAX ) using at least 1920x1080 resolution in crowded sim. Actually don't bother, because i know for sure that even 2 gens old top GPU 480GTX is not enough for that ( have it in my 3rd PC ). 3. SL does looks like day and night between high/ultra and medium/low settings. 4. The post I replied to had a few options, including budget below 2000$. 5. SL is terrible optimisation wise. It reminds me of console emulators. If you're familiar with those you should understand. You need at least 500$ PC to emulate (to play with decent FPS) 13 years old PS2 which has 299mhz CPU and 32MB of RAM with 148mhz GPU. Same for SL, modern games such as BF3 or Skyrim may run decent on "meh" config, but SL won't. In fact, I have more GPU usage in SL than I have in Skyrim without graphics mods.

If you want to build a really good PC that will run SL and most of other stuff just fine, then I'll suggest something like that: CPU: Intel i5 3470 or 3570k ( if you're planning to overclock CPU ). Do not buy AMD cpu for gaming, their PPC (perfomance per core ) is terrible compared to intel ones and since most of apps still doesn't use more than 2/4 cores, PPC is more important than ammount of cores. Motherboard: any ATX ( do not buy mATX for a gaming rig, they are smaller and have less power phases for CPU ) H77 for ( 3470 ) or z77 ( for 3570k ), preferable not the cheapest one though. I like Asus and Asrock ones. RAM: 8-16GB of DDR3, 1333 or 1600 doesn't matter that much in normal apps, so even cheapest 1333mhz one will do. GPU: 660GTX Ti or 670GTX or 680GTX, depends how much you want to spend. There's AMD alternative too, but based on my bad experience with their cards for a few years, I won't suggest those, although they are a bit cheaper. Power Supply: any quality 80+ bronze certified one, at least 600w. While 600w is not really needed, it's never good to run system that need let's say 450w on 450w PS, they lose a bit of their power as they age, so it's good to have a bit more than needed. My favorite brands are Corsair and Seasonic. Case: with good airflow ( at least 1 intake fan and 1 exhaust fan, but the more slots the better ) and not too small, good GPUs are big, then just won't fit in to some small cases. SSD/HDD: depends on what do you need from PC. Generally these days for ok builds people buy 1 64-128GB SSD to install OS, software and games there ( for games it's better to have 128gb one ) and 1-2TB HDD for the rest of stuff, like music, movies and other stuff. SSD: crucial m4 is good stuff for it's money. HDD: any brand, but assuming you will put SL cache there and maybe some games, 7200rpm one, 5400rpm are more quiet, but slower. If you don't need SSD, then just HDD will do too. Depends on the prices and brands it should be about 1k $ with 660TI GPU. I strongly suggest to NOT buy pre-built PCs, they are overpriced and/or have terrible combination of hardware. Like a good high end CPU with low end GPU and terrible power supply, which means you will need to change it if you want to buy a better GPU. And I'm saying gaming rig, because SL is very demanding or rather horrible optimised, it won't run smooth on a budget PC at all, even at high settings leave alone ultra ones. P.S. Sorry OP, don't know much about laptops, so can't suggest anything other than staying away from laptops when it comes to gaming. =(

I'm not sure if LL checked anything before making those "zones". Most of avatars in the red zone even if they don't wear much. I checked all my outfits and the lowest I have is 75k, most above 120k. Just as you said, it's mostly boots that add a lot and also prim hair ( I don't like mesh hair, so don't have any to check ). Even short styles ones adding over 30k. This avatar, which I use only to check how my main looks and checking stores when my main is busy, have 51.3k and it's default avatar "female party outfit". So even default LL avatars in the red zone, that's hilarious lol. I'd say the red zone should start from 200k, yellow should be 150k-200k, below 150k is green obviously.

I'd say it's because of integrated GPU, which is Intel Media Accelerator X4500HD Graphics according to google. Integrated GPUs are not designed for games, even newest gen ones like Intel HD Graphics 3000/4000 won't do well. As for an upgrade, your PC should have 1 PCI-E x16 slot, so you can buy normal gpu. But I'm not sure what PSU that PC have, there's a good chance that it has very weak one, which won't be enough for good enough GPU. But I'm not that sure if that's worth it with that PC anyway, a good enough GPU will cost you more than a half of that Dell PC...

I'd like to see how LL will ban everyone who has A rated content in their profiles though. At least in places where I usually spend my time in SL, it's about 99% of people, last 1% just doesn't have any pics in their profiles. Also to the post above.. It's not true, my profile ( the main one, this account to just post on forum and check how my main looks from another client =) ) and my friends profiles have a G rating if check in search, while all of us are much older than 18|21 and adult sims is where we're "playing" all the time. But indeed I've seen some profles that had M and A rating, maybe it's a feature that premium members can get from LL or something like that. I'd like to know too.

I just wonder in which country police bothering with that stuff... Actually I'm pretty sure I know the answer already, but I'm not gonna post my assumptions to not start a flame war. But still, talking about overreaction lol. People get hacked left and right, in games, social networks, sl, everywhere. Internet is full of griefers too, so often those hacked people can find some "surprises" on their accounts, but nothing new here. But what police can/should do about that? Hacker/griefer can be from another part of the world. Also I'm not sure about other countries, but I don't recall my country had a law which would've said I can't hack someone's account in mmorpg or sl for example. Yes, it would break ToS of LL (in our case), but that's it, it's not a crime, so nothing police can do about that. Instead of police you should've bothered LL for real. They can track some stuff and if the hacker was stupid enough, find his main account and ban him. Although if that hacker was prepaired, they won't find him.
