Cam Mode

I think calling cards get placed into trash but not sure if in trash for the removed or the remover. I have noticed some people completely vanish everywhere, others I have their cards. Don't obsess- everyone has their own cut offs for friends list - how old last IM , moved from region, hate a group I joined etc.

So "Cammode123456oregon Resident" wants to be, well me, if my name was free. But "number Cam" or NC as we'll call him has sold things on MP, has active groups he started, loves to RP. He pays what LL wants in the future, say 5 bucks, for Cam Mode as his name . (May not be allowed even if free since Mode was a legacy LL last name) Oh he looks FINE now at the dances, "elegant name tag" the Frank's hostess whispers . But she's his ex- gf -- will she know it's him? She should be able to tell, easily. What will his creations say : made by Cammode123456oregon Resident aka Cam Mode? How to search for new him in MP or regular people search? Groups- name space visually limited- can both be listed? NC started groups- people need to find him. NC likes RP - so has display names going half the time - how can that show in groups? I think new folks should be able to get last names. But existing I don't see how getting a whole new name would work.

This reminds me of an old comedy album my folks had- Catskills comedy couple- he comes home ,can't find his wife and says "Where are you?" "I'm hiding!" wife replies this goes on over and over for a bit, laugh track, finally : "Where are you- I've got a new pair of earrings for you!" "I'm hiding! (pause) in the front closet" Why not make it easy , enhance your chance the customers help by reporting and NOT hide the channel? Just tack an alpha letter on the RC name Blue Steel A then Blue Steel B etc. --- we'll see something easy to report (if we use a phone hard to give you a zillion letters)-- you'll never have 26 versions out at once. You'll know what B is. You get your version, we get the info. Second Life residents hate when things are hidden, esp. in "plain sight" - like the front closet (click through to release notes). Make it a win-win Oz.

I don't like decisions I disagree with, who does, but abhor when decisions result in pointless convoluted messes. Some people can't get from point A to point B in a straight line in their mind. I have found you can't teach this, person either thinks clearly- understand the right priorities , or doesn't. World moves too fast for corkscrew thinking. If you are in arrears paying your land tier (think full regions that maybe allowed to coast for a while due to illness, or credit card info snafus), Tilia isn't a get out of debt card. For inactivity fees max is balance but if you owe a past due debt -you owe.

Worried I have to set up a Tulia "account" when I don't cash out in case the State or Feds subpoena a list of Tulia accounts and ask me in a tax seeking frenzy to prove I never cashed out, I mean I did open a "cash out" account? And am very unclear where what page or box we must access every year to stay active. Or is the main dashboard enough - or do I have to click some certain account page. Would "my mainland" be enough?

Look at the way Tilia is being introduced and explained. Days and days of people grinding questions. Name one other company that behaves this way- about basic changes to business issues. Not debating the tech merits of one type of mesh vs. another. As previously stated, my "beef" is STYLE not content. (BTW-Nice commercial Nalates).

I'm getting tired of this style myself--- great new Linden homes -but not enough for months, years premium rate increase cash out fee increase slight tempering of above with non premium groups and 3 mo premium staying the same badly explained Tilia roll-out Second Life is getting to be like shopping for cable and a cell phone provider. On two lines at the same time. It's supposed to be fun, smooth easy. For most of us SL is LEISURE. I want to eyeball the blog and go "ok." Tired of the Forum clusters while we work through the maze of unanswered ,partially answered questions. It is tiring. TIRING. Why don't they have internal resident ,creator focus groups, anticipate the sticking points and either change or explain them . Finally, introduce a polished product. Right off.
