I'm seeing people jumping into this thread, to raise their own issues, who didn't see the violations themselves. I saw the scene and ARd it, the main reason being that the house owner deliberately left a doorway open to public view with a naked tortured female as bait plus a sign over the visible internal doorway showing a tortured bottom, presumably to make it clear what people were being invited in to see. I do think the content of that house was unacceptable for a General-rated region anyway but this was not a simple matter of a resident wanting to do something distasteful in private. So please, latecomers to the thread, take your issues to another thread. Thank you.

It's true that the landowners are paying tier, so in one respect it's good news for LL, but stagnation is not encouraging for residents.

In SL I add a prim or two to a mesh building to suit me, such as windows for a pavilion that looks nice but feels rather breezy in cold weather On another grid I'm currently recreating whole buildings from old floorplans I drew up pre-internet. They'll probably never be seen but it pleases me.

If you buy land on the Mainland you can sell it whenever you like.

The question is, how much can you afford? You can certainly try bargaining with the owner though they have a great many parcels around the Mainland which they can afford to keep on sale at high prices for months. One thing I'd be concerned about though, if I wanted an uninterrupted sea view, is that space between the parcel and the sea. It could be built on at any time. The road edge is protected, not the seashore.

Ah, I misunderstood what you were saying. I thought you had begun paying for a Premium account once more. If you're still on a Basic account then you can't buy land, and I have to assume the system hasn't caught up. To buy a parcel on the Mainland now you'd have to upgrade to a Premium account. You can still buy land now on a private estate, of course.

LittleMe, the OP's inworld profile shows Payment Info Used. I assumed that's what she meant by Payment Data Informed.

Since your account has gone back to being Premium you're entitled to 1024m² on the Mainland without tier payable to LL. This is the page on Mainland Pricing and Fees - https://secondlife.com/land/pricing.php?lang=en which tells you what you'd pay beyond that.
