SL peeve: People who see you on their radar, and decide that it would be a great idea to teleport to you while you are in your private skybox. I have security, and I can eject them too, sure. But it just really irks me, what sort of person would do this, just teleport and land on top of a stranger? Some of the people who do this have years in SL, it's not just clueless noobs. I lived on adult land near busy clubs for a while and it happened all the time there, fortunately not so much where I am now but I am near an info hub so it probably happens more than it would in quieter regions.

Makers of head skins from one store may make their skins to perfectly match the body skins from another store. So even though the body and head come from different stores, they will match. Always demo to be sure though.

This might be OK for people who are working with the 3D kit, but for designers who are just starting out and only have the Lite kit with PSD files and have to do manual padding, it seems like a bit of a nightmare to get right.

Well, Rebirth seems to have taken the hint because their new heads have a new custom 2K UV. Some of those Rebirth heads are extremely pretty, I am tempted to get one for an alt.

I never have, not once. I have at times been very generous in my tips to musicians, DJs, and venues but I can't say I have ever tipped a host and only really notice them if they are spamming local to the point it makes me want to leave. I have noticed the "dancers" in cages expecting tips at some venues though. Now that's the bottom of the SL employment food chain, right there. Like I am going to tip someone for doing something that everyone else around them is doing for free.

Simple Bloom has put some 4k skins out, I can say that they look better in world than in this ad picture, I just wish there was a paler tone.

No, it just happens to be the style of these few creators who have released for Genus so far. Once others start releasing we will see a bit more variety.

Recreated my old Genus Classic W001 look. I will definitely be on the lookout for a new higher-resolution skin if some of my favourite pale skin creators like Deetalez and Nar Mattaru make some. Nothing that has been released by anyone so far is suitable. Not noticing any issues with the eyes bugging out, and there is no visible neck seam, so this is a great improvement.

Revoul has released some skins at the Genus store. Going to demo them.

I get a lot of these, but from people on the radar, I think because I live near an info hub and people there see me nearby. Some of them are new people (who are always able to work out how to send a friend request, but never able to work out how to IM and say hi first), but some are long-term residents who really should know better. As for it being a scam, well I have never accepted or responded to the requests to find out but I assume that as these people are actually always men, they are probably wanting to hit me up for sex.

Has anyone made any 4k skins yet? Nothing is loading in their discord channel for me.

Nope, not a fan of any of these heads with extra eyes. I see a lot of people posting pictures of them on Flickr but I wonder how many of those are bloggers who got review copies.

I still hate how they do the HUD, specifically the tinting. I try to tint one thing, I end up tinting another. Does anyone else have problems with this or is it just me? Other than that, I am impressed with what they have done. I was a Genus W001 wearer, though I had several other heads too. I will be trying to replicate my old look as soon as skins become available.

I got a delivery of some of the heads I had purchased, but not all. There is a lot in the package and I am working my way through it. Not sure I will use these as I am happy with my current look. What do others think? Want to post pictures for us?

I did not know that! I have always found that so annoying, thanks for pointing out it can be turned off.

Have you tried CZ Slim or Anatomy then? They are both great bodies, harder to get clothes for but my alt has both bodies and certainly has a decent enough wardrobe from shopping around.

Little devil. Got the horns and tails from Tiny Inc, and the catsuit is something I am working on, though I hesitate to have my Dinkie running around in latex!

Yeah, showing the same thing for me too using Relevance search, and there is no rhyme or reason to it, I can't see from the listings why these particular items would show up first.
