Y'all are so VIOLENT today!

Of course, I do have a couple of wearable tanks that don't require rezzing. I've been known to drive one around newcomer areas when someone has ticked me off. And now I want a machine gun that fires nuclear missiles, too.

I'm not ALL sweetness n' light, y'know.

I'll send you one when I log in, I'm going to sleep, and laughing at the "blatant porn" I posted in the selfy thread, lol

EDIT: Sent you a nice wand instead. It looks nicer and is less "Rambo". Discreet and classy. It also shoots nukes. ^-^ ❤️

If I hadn't met someone at Kuula (NCI) in my first few days, who took me under her wing, taught me the basics, gave me a place to call home, I would not have stayed. Its overwhelming. Like landing on an alien planet. I got through it by some miracle. Now I try to help out where I can, but I rarely see any Linden basic avis.  More common are well constructed avis who are a couple of weeks old.......with NPDOF and a blank profile.

Oooh, I see, not "tank tops", but.."tanks"!

TANK GRRLS!!!  Yay!

THIS  IS HOW WE PARTY~!

Also Belinda is right. I don't like NCI for personal reasons, but I'm still glad they exist. Places like NCI and Helping Haven and various other helper spots, regardless of how much or how little help one might get from staff or various programs  they might have there, do at least give people somewhere they can go and always find people. And usually, even if many of them don't always feel like actually being helpful, many of them do.

There are people who just park in helper areas to socialize, and if they see someone obviously needs help, they will fall on them like rain on dying crops and change everything. The ones who help and care more than make up for the ones who are unpleasant.

An important thing to remember though is that you can't be too shy as a new person and expect it all to just somehow open up to you. Sometimes you have to ask for help, even if you don't quite know how to ask because it's all so new and alien. Be bold, even if you fall off a cliff you can still survive it inworld, so you can survive talking to people too. XD

If any new users would like a mentor in tankery, we've got you covered now.

I call dibs on teaching T-34s 101.

More on topic, I really think it would be awesome to see more people sharing collected Landmarks so that new people could explore and find more cool things, like wearable tanks.

There's so much on the MP, I forget just how many people only have stores inworld, and how many of them have awesome stuff that doesn't cost anything. When I was new, almost half of my time inworld was spent finding places like the store I got this thing at. Some of my best exploration happened when I fell off the stores' platforms and ended up in whatever residential or natural areas were on the ground level, too. XD

Seriously though, it's hard to get bored when there are so many things you can do and places you can go that aren't just clubs and learner's waystations. The hard part is finding them all.

No negativity from me.  Just pointing out, that many users including myself, take time to help new users, but don't need feel an urge to run posting threads saying "hey hey look at me and what I've done".

I used to like your posts when you were new and learning. Not anymore. Very bitter posts. Bye.

I've encountered the odd inworld-only store from time to time, and particularly for those who've not jumped onto the mesh-body treadmill yet there are some sweet things out there. And yes, I've often gone exploring the areas around those stores, particularly if I spot a YavaScript pod ride passing by. :)
