I find the spectacle of threads like this dissolving into mud slinging matches distressing. And I don't like to see people isolated. That you read it merely as an insult, and replied with one yourself, seems to me to throw a spotlight on the problem. I wish you would pay importance to the content of what you write, a lot of things can be part of the landscape, a beautiful mountain in the horizon, or a pile of trash by the side of the road.
