Searching for the term "1950" at the SL marketplace will give you around 1400 results in the apparel section. Have you tried that?

There's a store named Virtue that has a few pieces. Very nice and modest clothing

Sad to say all the big name vintage creators I use to get my stuff from before I went mesh is no longer in business from what it seems. I logged in briefly to pull some names for you and none of them seem to have either a market place or an in world store I can even recommend. Unless you come across something out there on market it I dare say finding items for system/legacy avatars is becoming increasingly harder now days due to the mesh trend. Now that is not to say there are not any good creators out there. I would definitely search a bit on market place. You may even still find some decent free vintage cloths for free even out there at some of the freebie places and role play sims.

As far as mesh goes I have not come across a mesh designer that has made anything vintage specific per say as of yet that I am aware of. However one that comes to mind makes mainly male cloths last time I checked and is a bit on the pricey side.The store I would recommend for you being I know for sure they sell female clothing wear is Utopia. If I recall correctly they have a fairly decent selection of vintage wear among their clothing items selection.

That is their market place. I would tp to the in world store and take a browse around and see if you find anything to your liking. Some of their stuff can be a bit on the pricey side as well too, but the quality is well worth it. They may even very well still sell some system/legacy items if they have not done like a lot of other content creators have sadly done and phased all those item options out of existence using level of quality as the excuse. Given my own personal opinion I still think there are some system/legacy designs out there that still look better then the mesh items sold to this very day.

Legacy can do Bakes on mesh, meaning that system outfits are definitely doable. So what Velk was speaking about was the Bakes on Mesh ability that all mesh bodies and head will eventually support, if not already. The point being: search MP as described above, then change the sort order to "Oldest First" and you should see a lot of the older system clothing stuff and you can use that, too.

In addition to Ingenue and Belle Epoque, you could also try Sonatta Morales, who has a store in Jo Yardley's Time Portal. SHe carries clothing designs from the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s and 1950s.

Vintage finds mesh to bom. I seen some things at shop and hop lots of 50s stuff. Look back at vintage fair through the years also find stuff. The list goes on. Looking under search mad men, 50s , 1950s , vintage so on. Looking under market place look under old also. even Flikr or blogs and all search like feb 2020 vintage 1950s second life but look for past things from 2011 and beyond.
