Even though I've had the account for years, I just now got a computer that can play it. (How exciting! <3) But, to be honest, I'm not sure where to begin. I mostly just sit around the hotspots and lurk in on conversations like a weirdo...

I spend most of my time in world with someone I knew in RL first. I probably do the same things a lot of people do. You know, chatting with my girl friend, go on hunts together, take her shopping, dress her up and go out where our friends are, call her names in front of them, make her kiss my butt (literally) every time I stand up, take her home, tie her up, throw her on the floor, stand on her hair and whip her body with a fishing rod until she's a bloody mess. Other nights we'll go dancing to '40s swing tunes. Then just before we log off we always put on pajamas and go to bed.

Ha! You sound like me, I'm a chronic lurker and part time creeper. I always feel a bit lost once the shopping buzz wears off, but I mostly explore and try not to look too awkwardly out of place.

Mostly just shop or sim hop as SL is often quiet and no one socializes or you get played by people and their significant others, lol.

I design jewelry in SL Owner of Glint jewelry. I Also host greed at Thirsty Camel gaming sim. We  have so much fun there, chatting about anything and everything. Great people.

Gosh, there are so many things to do in SL... it all depends on your personality. I've listed things that I love to do below. I'm an explorer at heart and love good conversations (ones that involve a variety of topics, whether deep or light).

-Look at the Events going on all over SL. You can find them via the Destination guide, doing a search inworld, various SL blogs etc. There are live events, fundraisers, discussions, story time, poetry and so much more.

-Go to game sims. I love to play table games such as Greedy, Parcheesi, Skippo, UNO,  Yahtzee. You can find them all at one of my fave game sims, Haven Games: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/DarkHallow/64/192/2

- Go on SL hunts. If you've never done one, what it involves is looking for hidden things and getting free/low priced stuff. Kind of like a treasure hunt. Learn more about sl hunts here: http://huntsl.com/

- Amusement parks and carnivals in SL. Always fun!

- Go boating/sailing, jet skiiing, surfing

- Visit various SL cities like Paris, London, NY and more

- Learn something new....learn to build, script, make clothes etc. You can find sims for that. To start off, here are a couple:
