You could try creating some content. Clothes, furniture, etc.

There are a couple of advantages to that idea. One is that what you're doing right now requires that you be at your pc, shile listing items on the MP just gets you money automatically. The other is that MP listings are based on your rl age, not the age you choose your sl avatar to be. If you are in rl over 18, you can create anything for the mp, and not worry about going into any "gray" areas.

There have been several ways of earning money in SL:

1. Camping - No longer allowed in SL I think and people use bots now.

2. Gambling - Outlawed in SL.

3. Creating and selling a product, eg. hair, skin, clothes, vehicles, animations, houses - Requires desire to build and knowledge

4. Buying/selling/renting land - Required premium account, large investment

5. Club dancer, host, dj - Dependent on the club owner and requires knowledge on clubs

6. Stripper, escort - Requires a certain mindset

7. Other jobs in SL - Few and far between

8. Money trees - Not sure if any are still around

9. Club contests - No guarantee of winning

10. Linden realms - No idea.

11. Begging - Looked down upon by most residents

Does anyone have any other ways to make money in SL? I would guess that the majority of people who have money in SL are either transferring money into SL, selling goods, or working in a club. So either you can take up one of the methods of working in SL or you can look into working on the internet or working in the real world. I always recommend Amazon's Mechanical Turk. I made 10 cents there once.

What? They can't set up lemonade stands? Or sell girl scout cookies? Or shovel old people's sidewalks when it snows? Or rake leaves in the fall? Or sell arts and crafts? Or hustle other kids to spend their lunch money on collectibles?

in some countries child labor is illegal, because they may be tricked by adults in doing hard work for a few cents, their well being is the responsability of the adults who take care of him/her. they are supposed to spend their childood learning and playing, not worrying about bringing income to the household.

What are you good at in real life? Are you creative? Building and creating things in SL to sell at first will be daunting. Especially now that so many merchants are professional level. Daunting for a newbie.

If you write, you might go look up in world newspapers and magazines. It might not pay at first, but it could lead to things, including selling ads for them, or writing, which can often lead to freebies. Sometimes blogging can also lead to freebies. Then again there are lot of freebies already in SL which you can have without working at all. Maybe you knew that which is why you said you want $L cash.

Photography doesn't involve much investment. If they pay up front, you can afford the 10L upload fee. Or you can do it the cheap way by downloading all pix to your computer, putting them on a file share website somewhere, and after they pay you, you can upload them, or they can download them from the links there. Yeah it's a bit involved but you did say "earn." Do you have any sort of photo or art software? If not GIMP is free.

I would begin by learning things at NCI if you haven't yet. Their classes are free too.
