Thanks so much everyone, I've actually been a nurse in RL for close to 24 years (Naturally, I graduated at the age of 10 :matte-motes-wink:) I specialize in hospice nursing. I know the statistics, I've seen many beat the odds, and many who didn't, but when it's someone you love, it seems that your training goes out the window. My shape is unfortunately no mod, but when my avie was pregnant, I contacted the creator (Alady), and she custom made a set of my shape in different stages. Very reasonably too.

So many excellent answers! I, personally, evolved over 6 years! Of course, it's a never ending process as the technology changes, but the one thing that has never changed, is my shape. It's the same one I bought in my first year. My reasoning is that it makes me look like me. I feel weird about changing that for some reason. I had no clue what I wanted to look like when I started, but the end result was me in RL in my youth.

Actually, even if you don't have a premium account, you can call LL for this. I made the same mistake once during a period of basic membership. They fixed it imediately!

I imagine it would be a couple hundred dollars, at least. As for the rest, not a clue.

Having an avatar custom created is an extremely expensive endeavor. Creating shapes and skins is a very time consuming project and the designer can not sell a custom avie in mass, so you will be paying for their talent, their time, and the time they lose being able to create avatars they can sell to the masses. Be prepared to spend a large amount of RL dollars (justifiably)

What Marigold said is right. It may be as simple as a tattoo layer, and sounds like that might be just the issue! Either do a character test, or try removing everything layer by layer, including "makeup" or any other tattoo layers.
