  1. I think it is hard to control. If not impossible. If anyone sells clothes and uses sex furniture as keyword, how can the market software find out that he lies in his listing? Btw, keyword abusing violates the market TOS already.
  2. Just because places are not "pro" something doesn't mean they are "anti". It normally only means they aren't made for a type of character that a residents choosed to be. For me a normal thing. I remember how many arguments with other residents I had in the past because I don't want to see child avatars at my places. They accused me that I don't like children in general. What's wrong of course. The whole gang of nieces and nephews which I have in RL would doubtless confirm that.
  3. It's not only the searching engines fault. Often merchants use keywords in their listings which have nothing to do with the products they offer in hope to get more visitors to their shops.
  4. Their logo is Lindens matter. How it looks, when and where they use it and how fast they change it, it's their business alone. It is a miracle to me, what's the point of this thread.
  5. It looks like a Lada or Polski Fiat to me.
  6. I think car driving in the 70/80 can't be compared with car driving of today. In those days one had to care of the car ike it were a horse. You had no electronic that warned you or told you when something was wrong. Adjusting headlights or the carb, changing light bulbs, sparkplugs, maintain the battery, controlling the water - just to name the few - was your job. Sure, one could give the car into a garage. But we needed the money to party or to date pretty ladies. Sometimes I look back to those days with a heavy heart. My current life isn't bad at all. But it is not the same. Well, no matter what they tell you. It is not funny to get old.
  7. He took also part on nationwide series?
  8. Well, guys have much to say about women behind the wheel. And not always something nice. lol That's known. My first wife was speed addicted. One needs to know that the German Autobahn has generally no speed limit. Anyway, once my former wife pushed a VW pick up so much, that all 4 valves broke because of overheating (it was an old model with only 4). The guy from the garage said, he never saw something like that before.
  9. Addicts. lol Actually I was never a Manta fan. I drove early Audi models, VW, Fords, Opel GT and Kadetts, Fiats and more recently I returned to the new generation of Audi models. I never drove a BMW, Mercedes or a Golf. No idea why. lol
  10. Did I state something else? lol Can't remember when I saw the last Manta on the streets. They extincted long time ago like the dinosaurs.
  11. I had a similar problem with my box recently. It didn't show the acutal stand of my rent. Finally I found out for unknown reasons the box was on my black list. Can't hurt that you check, if your box is perhaps blocked.
  12. There is not much you can do. Are you shown as renter of the land? If yes, use the land until the rent expires and move away. If not and the land company doesn't response, your money is probably lost. Don't expect that Linden helps you. They normally feel not responsible for issues between land companies and renters.
  13. In Germany the Manta was a cult car for the one while other considered it as car for lower minded braggarts and dumb blondes. lol
  14. All avatars are SL residents which modeled for me many years ago. The most left. Some are still around. The technical quality ia partly poor. My pc wasn't the best in those days.
  15. Not to talk about all the dead bodies which they disposed in Lake Michigan in times of the prohibition and gang wars. (And perhaps still dispose.)
  16. Sure. Well, I'm ok with the fee changes. In the worst case I have to pay 2 or 3 USD more. That won't kill me and I don't mind to contribute a little, if it helps to improve SL. Now back to crypto mining. 😀
  17. You said "fees". I understand that as plural. Sorry, if I got this wrong.
  18. Can you list the fees which were recently raised by 100 %?
  19. Cryptocurrency mining isn't just turning your pc on and then in generates a steady amount of bitcoints automatically. If you are interested, please read this. How long does it take to to mine 1 bitcoin. You need thousands of servers to mine a noteworthy amount. Not to talk about the imense electricity costs. The few thousands of additional USD which Linden perhaps earn with increasing fees are peanuts compared with that.
  20. Well, when I understand correctly it works now. A positive attitude is for me to be happy about that and to say thank you. Sure, one can continue to write walls of text about how long it was broken and how much time it took before it was fixed. I don't mind.
  21. I said already to @AdminGirl that we might have a misunderstanding. My replay was about who has a right by law to ask a company even for the most internal finanical informations at any time. According my knowledge only the tax authorities have this right. And even them won't get those informations without a warrant by a judge or court in some cases. I admit that I noticed to late that some of the other replays were talking about public relation informations. I'm sorry about that. Thank you for the link. Well, we live in a world with a system that favours the rich. No question.
  22. You are referring to public relations. My replay was about who has a right by law to ask a company for their internal financial details at any time. So I think we have a indeed a misunderstanding here.
  23. Mr. Trump is the owner of an imperium of companies. If you insist that US companies owe the public transparency, then at least them have the obligation to publish the amounts they pay to him because it is part of their business. But they didn't.
