sorry to rez this thread but some people just do NOT get the point just had someone IM me evidently based on a post I made in this thread and say they filed a TOS repoirt against me simply because "the way you described your avatar sounds like a 12 year old avatar I saw once so you are really doing age play": let me restate what should be obvious ADULTS can be short, they can have small frames, there is no law against adults wearing pigtails or mary jane shoes, or t-shirts with cartoon characters on them! Adults do sometimes need to wear braces, and adults can havve freckles NONE of those things are ONLY seen on child avatars, I am an adult, and my avatar is an adult, I am in no way violating the TOS

I tend to break out my vampire avatar in october or sometime's I'll break out my Lycan avatar, here I am walking throiugh the streets of Soho in the rain, looking for a place called Lee Ho Fook's

I got a mech dress and tried it on, the first time I sat down and the skirt did not hang straight through my legs and the chair I was hooked ideally I can't wait for some maternity shaped mesh outfits and a way to eliminate the need for the alpha but other than that I love em

ok I was being a little silly a whie ago and made a series of avatars (and photographed them in various sims) showing myself in different periods of history, note: I'm sure more than a few of these are not 100% historicly accurarate if you have similar pics feel free to share them if I had more time and money I'd go back further using animal avatars heheh

if you want to get fancy I use this one it's usable for both roller skates and ice skates, and you can do a lot of the tricks and jumps and spins and stuff

I can see the golf course sims picking this up too, would open up hiring a greenskeeper position that said I'd love to see a demo of this, do you have a SLURL?

the only breedable I currently do is Plantpets, don't need to buy extras like food and the like just have to click on them to water them, plus they're low prim and low script so that's a bonus that said theoreticly for breedable I'd like to see would work as follows 1 the breeding is only contained to a certain season 2 food is either not nessiccary, or much easier and cheaper to maintain (bonus if you can grow your own with minimal effort, think scion chickens and scion corn but better implimented) 3 aside from breeding, the animal can give you something else as well, (i.e. breedable cows you can get milk, or chickens that you can get eggs, or sheep you can get wool you can have the option to butcher the animal for meat as well, these said items given can work with RP systems like say Spellfire) 4, if the breedable animal is herbivourous it can graze on plants (the system can release a free scripted plant that will provide basic nutrition to the animal once per x number of days (sold plants or food can provide higher level but you can keep the animal just fine with the free plants) 5. if the breedable animal is carnivourous it can be set to hunt herbivourous breedable animals for food essentially you can release some of these plants, herbavores and carnivores onto a sim for them and set up your own ecosystem

for, me, if I find a brand that offers quality and I love how they look and/or function I will stick with that brand and promote it myself for example my glasses must always be Solar

made a similar thread in the Avatar forum but here's my pic showing how I changed the nearly 2 years I've been in world I had the basic idea of what I wanted to look like when I started but lacked the funds and the knowledge of good items to pull it off (as well as some items and tech wasnt made yet) basically to look like a (more idealized) version of my RL self but skin and shape are my own creation hair is from Sirena make up in tattoo layes mesh dress by Jane jewelry by Style Society glasses are by Solar eyes are really the only thing that's exactly the same from when I started, I should probably get a better set as for the old pic, mostly freebie and cheap stuff, I think the skin and shape are even default linden skin/shape

sounds interesting, that plus plantpets watering, you can have a whole yard and garden routine

boots I don't wear too many boots but lets see if I can find pics of what I do have

use the Character Map in Windows to find them, however you really wanna jump on this bandwagon? personally I find the special characters annoying, and makes it hard to address someone by their name in chat

personally I love the possibility of "... the creation of artificial life and artificial people much smoother." I'm currentlly doing an SL pregnancy, and when Zooby's new updated babies (fully interactive much like their monkeys but from what I hear even more so) I plan on raising my baby as realisticly as possible, when she reaches toddler age, (2 years from now of course) I'd love to be able to continue her as an AI rather than have someone RP her (currently considering an alt avatar with an actorbot brain. I'd prefer a full Daden Ltd AI for her but that's beyond my price range, but with this announcement I'd love to see what people can come up with in 2 years time

if one thing I'm always a sucker for realism in SL, if some one can make a device or hud or something on SL that takes immersion a step further I love it that said, I notice a lot of clinics are going beyond the standard pregnancy RP, some are doing full family health care for RP families, including huds for doctors, patients, and children to wear to interact with the equipment that said the one thing I haven't seen in SL cause it always seemed a bit complicated, surgery but I figured out a way it'd totally be doable, although it requires outside programs (namely flash) this is a quick and dirty mockup of my idea, the basic is it's an operation table that has a cover screen over it, the patient lies on the table and the animation keeps them laying flat, the doctor clicks on the table and a menu comes up asking where the surgery will be performed, head, body/arms or feet/legs, and the screen moves over that location, then gives a menu of the surgeries to be performed on that area, when the surgery is chosen, the doctor is given a URL for a website that has surgery sim games similar to Trauma Center or the like but done in Flash, and they are displayed on the browser screen on the top yeah I know this would be tricky to code and not expecting anyone to make this but it's just a cool idea I wanted to share
