If someone sells the access to an account (password and log on) away from SL (say comms through email and payment through transfer or paypal say), then does that create a grey area? There is no ownership, we all rent our parcels from LL so there is essentially no asset that we can transfer to someone else in exchange for payment. But if it took place outside of that how could one track it? Does anyone know or is clearer on that than me? All this has made me wonder about that.

Certainly it does not on top appear to violate terms of service and if people want more than one home, it's their accounts and money and it just all seems right in that sense. I think as far as a community goes though it does tend to direct a huge spotlight on it. Motivation will always be questioned. I get multiple different people asking me for seaside Victorians - desperate sounding people - as they always have done in world, in message etc. (Answer always the same. Check a thread or the LP), but then the same people are picking up and keeping the seaside Victorian front line in the same newly released regions - if I was after one and especially if I was new to this, I would be wondering at least.

When I saw the announcement of release I had just dropped some boats so I thought - let's intercept. I got one in Thatch Lea and two in Carders Mill I am letting all out now. I am looking at the parcels of those two land groups involved and I don't feel they are mastering the art of decor or unique location finding. It just looks like accumulating en masse. So if not a business motivation perhaps just a real hoarding problem? I don't know. These are just my personal opinions. Truth is, what they have and how they've presented them would just pass by my radar.

I think your work is wonderful - when I started on the MP I thought I would always be looking at the builders I held in high esteem, never be better than that and so why bother? But i changed my thinking when I realised I enjoyed the building so much and was stunned by how often my things sell. Also, everyone got to start somewhere. My builds have greatly improved with practise. But I understand the fear because as consumers of the product we are also our own harshest critics. In conclusion - if you actually wanted to try selling it can pay your way through SL and then some. My ex RL partner knew nothing of how to do it ten years ago and now owns a very large popular original mesh store which is run full time

I wholeheartedly agree. Smaller sizes are really fun to decorate and the landscapes are usually beautiful EDIT - afterthought! A williamsburg style camper on water 1024 is my ideal home

It's easily done! Best thing to pick up your no copy items one by one to be on the safe side!

They may have linked with other objects no copies can do that. Try rezzing any linksets from your inventory - items you had out alongside the gachas - chances are they are hidden in there!

"I will give you a home if you promise to keep it" Chilling. I am not sure who/ what or why but that sentence stands out! I welcome hearing about the different ways people play GOH - just goes to show there is a fine line when it comes to the rules. But this thread does always circle back to the actual topic. So in the spirit of that I am off to see what I can find at the LP.
