  1. Fallen New York's Wanderlust Weekend offer is a set of wall-clinging vines in several autumn tones - each color available separately for $50. (The individual vines in each set are 1 LI.)
  2. Insurrektion has some new group gifts - the farmers' market piece is 3 LI, nativity set 16 LI, other items 1 or 2 LI. (Earlier group gifts still available; EDIT: the group costs $10 to join. Thanks, @Emma Krokus)
  3. This set of large, etched glass vases with wintry branches (1-3 LI each) from Pitaya definitely falls into the "stuff I really like" category. $50 for FLF.
  4. Fifty Linden Friday at What Next: 1 LI texture-change antler candleholder $50; 2 LI cheeseboard with 1 LI wineglass and cheese plate $50.
  5. An attitude not shared by this Jewish atheist who adores Christmas trees, baubles and glitter. Living in a place where blech winter weather is the norm, I extend the season as long as possible, in both worlds.
  6. Dahlia is selling these stacked retro mixing bowls (1 LI each stack, all 11 colors included for $75). Good LODs.
  7. If you're looking for a fireplace, but don't do dark and grimy, this Nordic Fireplace Corner from Ariskea might fit the bill, keeping in mind that the 3 pieces are sold separately: fireplace 8 LI $75; log holder 1 LI $50; tile back and hearth 1 LI $50.
  8. This is not an open house, but the pumpkin is on the parcel border: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Innside/141/45/80 Current count: 34.
  9. Halelujah! Some holiday-themed sale items that don't involve pumpkins! (Don't know about you all, but I reached PSP - Pumpkin Saturation Point - almost 2 weeks ago). In fact, these sets from KraftWork are looking towards Christmas. $75 will buy you the small, 4 LI rattan-topped side table with books, cookies, lantern and knee rug (3 patterns) and rug (3 LI, beige, green and red color options, each with a different texture) and a pair of floor pillows (textures the same as the knee rug on table). Oh, and if you click the table, you'll hear T'was the night before Christmas... And if baking is your thing, this kitchen decor (stand with mugs 2 LI, cupcake stand 3 LI) is also on sale for $60.
  10. It worked this time! But I'm only up to 13 including yours and the ones in Dimanche, and should be at 20. So half of mine from yesterday just completely disappeared. Oh well.
  11. That's what I did with mine in Innside: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Innside/140/44/80
  12. I got fed up with the hunt but decided to wander through Dimanche on your suggestion - a *really* nicely landscaped region. And you managed to fit a lot in that big house! One more thing - 2 additional neighbors have pumpkins, so with 5 Dimanche so far takes the record for participation from what I've seen!
  13. Thanks for the link - When I'd logged back in yesterday my 14 pieces of candy had evaporated. Tried yours and was told (repeatedly) that I needed to wear the HUD. Duh... I've wasted enough time with this.
  14. It's Tuesday, and the only deal that has excited my interest is at Roawenwood: some trees for your autumnal garden. Two different trees in 4 colors - though the difference between the colors is minimal. Each tree is 2 LI. (There is an updated set available, with 1 LI trees, but that costs $450.)
  15. Thanks! I'll reciprocate: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Innside/140/44/80 There are only 13 other houses in my region and I haven't found anyone else with a pumpkin. (Did stumble upon one in the neighboring region, Pratt Falls.)
  16. So does anyone think there's *any* likelihood of a new theme reveal at Halloween, with a release around Thanksgiving? (In a fit of boredom 4 weeks ago I upgraded an alt and grabbed a Vic to decorate, and I have Sunday to decide if it's worth my renewing her for a month or 3 months.) I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for something Meadowbrook-y or mid-century modern.
  17. These items from Muniick have been on sale and mentioned here before, but they're worth highlighting again: the bench is 3 LI with many texture-change options, PG or A for $50. The lawn chair set (firepit 3 LI, 1 LI per 3 logs, 4 LI per chair) is $60 for PG and $75 for A.
  18. Happy Weekend: Another sale item in the "I really like" category - this 3 LI dresser/drawer unit from Thor, $60. The candles and lantern are 2 LI each, and they're also $60.
  19. Something a little different from Things + Stuffs - this 1 LI barnwood wall frame, $75.
  20. If you're looking for a piano and you missed out on Nutmeg's sale a couple of weeks ago, Pitaya may be someplace to visit this weekend - piano and stool (8 LI/2 LI), PG, in 4 color options, $75 per color. The candles are sold separately, 2 LI per candlestick, $50 for the pair. (Lisp also sells pianos, upright and grand; the upright is available in a variety of paint finishes as well as woods, but they are currently priced at $450/$500.) Zerkalo also has a piano on sale this weekend, which I've shown before. No piano stool, no playing animations but a lot of 'sitting *on* the piano ones. 13 LI. I remain unimpressed.
  21. Speaking of pumpkins... I really like these 1 LI recipe tins (complete with pumpkin pie recipe card) from Spruce. There are 3 sets, each with 4 different patterns/colors, $75 per set.
  22. For many of us, Autumn is the season of apples and pumpkins. In SL, it also seems to be the season of benches. Bricolage has a couple for you to consider this weekend. At 6 LI and $60-PG, $75-A, with texture change options for the seat and cushion, there is the Agatha Painted Bench on the left of the photo. On the right is the similar Orla Pine Bench - 8 LI with far more texture-change options, $125-PG, $175-A.
  23. Nutmeg's offer for Happy Weekend is this mulled wine set for $60. Individual bits are 1-3 LI.
  24. KraftWork has 3 sets of kitchen clutter on sale this weekend. The paper towels/baskets set is $60 (1 LI each); the tin cans set is $50 (1 or 2 LI per grouping); the dish rack set is $50 (1 LI per grouping).
  25. Llorisen is selling these 1 LI leaning floor-mirrors for $50 each.
