  1. The inspiration is container homes that have been the rage lately and it does show that. It's not to everyone's taste but not everything is. It's an easy build and very architectural, minimalist and kind of futuristic. Very nice, not my style but am not going to badmouth it because there are a lot of others that love these. Wonderful work and I'll steer clear of them so others can jockey for them. Waiting for a Traditional or Victorian to come up after the new year.
  2. Has anyone seen any snow roof cover or other winter decorations for the log cabins? I know there's one creator that is doing porches and architecture add ons for different styles but was feeling lazy and not have to use sculpts to build my own. Just put down a snow prim for the ground and getting dolled up for the holiday!
  3. Just having the Christmas Home parade would be fun. My favorite thing to do during the holidays is to look for decorated neighborhoods in my city. Also, the Millbank Haunted Square is still up as of this writing, it would be fantastic to turn that into a Holiday Square with all kinds of decorations of the different home styles and interactive snow, Santa, candles and trees. Maybe do each house decorated as a different theme per country tradition perhaps? Germany is different than England and Mexico is different than Russia heck even Canada has different traditions than America. So just an idea out there. A lot of work I know but two people per house to decorate, three people do do landscaping and external decorations, snow everywhere!
  4. Happy Holidays everyone! From now until mid January there are some 11 different holidays. I like the more traditional holiday decorations I grew up with and I am sure there are many that celebrate whatever holiday they wish. Collecting gifts is universal and brings joy to everyone! Doesn't matter if it's a lantern or candle or a tree you decorate, we need to remember that we are here to have fun and celebrate with others however we choose. Please remember to be kind and respectful. Now as for the offending sounds, I learned how to block them easy peasy and doesn't bother anyone. I also have sounds turned off on my computer 99.99% of the time. Chill, have fun and help others to do the same.
  5. Speaking of winter decor, I was wondering if anyone had seen snow/icicle roof add ons that are for Belli homes. I know there is at least one vendor that does add on porches and balconies and such but having a lower impact snow add on for the specific roof line would be nice. I am doing shopping now to have it ready for the end of the month.
  6. Excellent to hear about the Parade of Homes! Since I live in a one bedroom apartment not much room in real to decorate so have to go all out inworld. Might have to get a Traditional or Victorian for Christmas if I have the money for a second account. Can hardly wait!
  7. I am really having fun seeing all the different neighborhoods and houses for the Halloween hunt! I am really more of a Christmas person so am going full out (as much as I can) for Christmas/Holiday decorations on my house. Is there going to be something like a candy cane hunt or something for the next holiday? If not, going to put a note out on my house for my neighbors to make a 'Candy Cane Lane' hopefully.
  8. Yep found him and already doubled my candy count. Lonnnnng list. Likely won't get to all of them but it's fun. Also figured out that if you like to walk up rather than landing on it or want to explore the neighborhood just put in the name of the area and the first coordinate then tp and walk around.
  9. I ended up lagging out crossing one of the borders... skimmed over three other sims and finally viewer quit. I had 11 candy in my bucket, when I relogged it was back to 4. The number from my original log in. Grrrr... now have to go find those seven houses again. Oh and there is no Slenderman at that location that I could see. There's a jack o lantern in the front, stacked inflatables and the monster escaping from the big pumpkin. I did find a completely different location that had a Slenderman on it. It was in one of the Log Home areas. (Candy count reinstated after clicking on another bucket.. the Slender House is very cool!)
  10. What I wanted was the names of the different parcels I know the themes of the different areas, just finding the areas is random. I'm slowly figuring out what the large map layouts match to.
  11. Where does one get the list because I'm in the Log Homes and have not seen anyone else decorated in my sim area. There are a few in the Victorian sector which makes it even more fun, (I might have to use one of my other accounts to get a house there). A list would be helpful because this is like searching the entire US for a house or two in each state.
