  1. Trompe has some free gifts available, from their 2012 and 2013 advent calendars. I've tinted/re-colored many of the items from 2012 in the first photo as they're all gray/silver.
  2. More $25 items at Storax Tree that might suit a Fantasy home:
  3. The menu is for the light from the bulb under the lampshade. Click the base directly to turn the candle bulbs on/off. They're so bright that their outline is completely lost. Actually, they're not too bad from a medium distance - I'd been looking at them close up.
  4. Still looking for a decorated Christmas tree? Storax Tree has a variety available - trees in the back row are 15-21 LI, but those in the front are 3-5 LI; all appear to include a resizer script and cost only $25 each! I bought the 5 LI tree that I'm facing in the photos - resized it up by 20% and it's 6 LI. The terracotta pot base is bland and without detail, and you cannot unlink it or make it transparent, but you could probably cover it with a 1 or 2 LI base that you prefer. For $25, one of these might be worth getting as a fallback if you're running out of available LI.
  5. Muniick has this 2 LI lamp on sale for $25 - 2 lamp shade colors, variable light color and strength. (Unfortunately, the candle bulbs in the base can't be controlled other than on/off, and they're overly-bright, but they do look good when turned off.)
  6. I'll trade you my toffees for your coconut!
  7. Trompe's Superfans sale item for Monday (~4 hours left) - $50. The fabrics include tropicals, florals, plaids, stripes and retro in a variety of colors.
  8. Usual price $400, 6 LI according to the MP listing. But the ad at Trompe says 4-6 LI. CORRECTION: My apologies - you do need to be a member of the Trompe VIP group. (The sign at the lower left didn't rez for me and I'd enabled the tag as soon as I'd TP'd there.) Anyway, 18 fabric textures included and a couple of wood textures. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hyde Park/217/165/22
  9. Just saw this - YES! Rhododendron bushes, please!
  10. I'd love it if the Log Homes content creation pack were updated to include Ancient Mole's purple rhododendron bushes! (LOVE rhododendrons but haven't had much luck growing them in RL )
  11. For now, at least, LouChara's group is free to join, and there are a couple of group gifts that I haven't seen before - the sofa is 11 LI and the strawberry planter is 5 LI. There is also a nice-looking sleigh bed on sale this weekend for $74... but it is 32 LI (The 4 LI chair on the left is another group gift.)
  12. Bricolage's sale item this weekend is a 10 LI blanket cabinet, with 3 texture-change options for the contents, $75.
  13. Meanwhile, at Nutmeg, this clothes rack set is $60 - the ladder is 4 LI and the slippers are 1 LI *each*.
  14. There are some nice 2 LI cabinets on sale at Llorisen - dark and light sold separately for $50.
  15. This 3 LI Sparkling Winter Birch Tree from HEXtraordinary is on my "Things I *really* like list"! EDIT: Just discovered that there are 3 options for the lights: rainbow, warm white, cool white! Still photos don't do this justice. (Though I think I may replace/cover the plant pot and maybe hang a few ornaments on it.) EDIT 2: Unlinked the pot and replaced it with a 1 LI one, added some baubles and linking it all back together it still came in at 3 LI, with the color change script intact
  16. These 6 LI texture-change cabinets are on sale at Granola in either pastels or dark colors, $50 each set.
  17. If you're feeling chilly in rooms without a roaring fire, take a look at Balaclava's 1 LI space heaters, available in two color paks, $50 each.
  18. It's Friday, and the weekend sales are underway! If you have any LI left after putting up your 12 LI Christmas tree, and need to fill the room, Ariskea has these 10 LI gold or silver holiday carts available now for $50 each.
  19. @Abnor Mole There have now been subsequent requests - any chance of this before the Reveal disappears?
  20. Yes, I asked for these to be unlocked back on the 9th of December. While it is possible to TP inside these houses, some of the internal doors are also closed making it difficult to see how the rooms flow.
  21. Well, if @Patch Linden et al are looking at this thread, I'd like to make a plea for some single-storey homes with smaller footprints on 1024 parcels in future themes - like the Doyle, Havana and Tortuga.
  22. Heh. Some of us still get to gaze upon it.
  23. In the "early days", at least, there was a single sequence of colors used to designate stages of the building/quality assurance process for an entire region (the borders seen at sky level) regardless of theme. Parcel boundary colors for regions still in development have, I think, always been given a theme-specific color. Medium blue for the Stilts, orange for the Log Homes, purple for the Fantasy Homes, pink for the Vics, an orangey-brown for the Chalets, pale aqua for the Houseboats (though I didn't notice stuff like this when the earlier Houseboats were being built). As no Trads are currently being developed, I can't check, but I think their parcel borders were a darker blue, and the Campers... dark green? (Bellisseria historian where are you?)
