  1. As mentioned above, Givoria is the store in the MP that sells interior and exterior paint shells for all the trads and at least some of the Vics. And Recovery is the store I recently discovered that sells paint shells for 3 of the 4 log homes. (I have the one for the Overlook, which is a bit trickier to line up than the Givoria shell I use in my Adams.) The shells range from 3-8LI for the entire house. The thing to keep in mind is that some versions of Givoria's paint shells limit you to a choice of ~25 provided colors (per wall), whereas the ones listed as "Mod" allow you to add your own seamless wallpapers (many to choose from in the MP). The Recovery shell requires you to upload and use your own textures. Sorry, didn't intend to post the photo when I realized the OP knew what paint shells could do, but now I can't delete it after correcting something in the text.
  2. A couple of items in this week's Fifty Linden Fridays sale that might suit log cabins, both from Sway's:
  3. Fifty Linden Friday item that may be of interest to those expanding their inventory while waiting for the stilt houses:
  4. Hmmm, seems to me if that's the case then the vitriol in the threads where this has been discussed recently might just have something to do with the lack of a public announcement that those parcels would be released.
  5. Yes, the moles are still beavering away - spotted just now in SSPE1219 (log homes): Grumpy Mole doing his best solo impression of Torvill & Dean... on grass with rollerblades, and Sleepy Mole, showing off his cheekbones.
  6. Just went to a new store (for me), BHD, to pick up their Stay At Home Club freebies, and taking a look 'round saw some nicely detailed bits and pieces for Vics. Not cheap (~L$120) but worth a look.
  7. Could you share where those decorative wall tiles are from?
  8. While I'm happy with what I've managed to do in my Overlook log home, I never managed to fill my coastal Vic (the Hardy) enough. I liked the living room and the bedroom, and the photo wall in the dining area.
  9. This is very much the color scheme (and the tongue and groove paneling) I've been envisioning for my hoped-for Havana!
  10. I never really felt at home in my coastal Vic (though I still suffer the occasional pang of regret for my riverside one) and decided to get back into GoH with trads and campers while waiting for the stilt houses. This location in Wood was my 4th roll of the dice, and I have to say that I like it so much that I might just stick around. Managing to make it homey using only 163 LI was a real eye opener, so I'm pretty excited about what I'll be able to do with 351 in an almost as small Havana (possibly with yet another alt ) I didn't do any landscaping outside, but as you can see have an outdoor shower and loo. I bought 5 or 6 items for this home, the rest are from my inventory. I figure small boltholes like this are often furnished with odds and ends and castoffs. One item I was hoping to find was a good decor rucksack, but had to settle for a suitcase atop the wardrobe. The only items I've linked are the 6 baskets, but I must have done something wrong as the linked version is still 6 LI. Will have to do a bit of reading here on the forums and try again.
  11. OK, no one's especially interested in this one, so I'll be releasing it at 7:50am SL time.
  12. I've decided to give up my coastal Vic in Ingram - to my surprise, I've quite fallen for the Havana, and think I'll play GOH with trads and campers until the stilt houses are available. The Ingram parcel is a good one - facing east just across the road from open water and backing onto the railway. As I'm up way past my bedtime, I'll let this go sometime on Wednesday, and anyone who's especially interested can send me a message here with a time that's good for them and I'll see what I can do. If you want to take a look, here's a landmark http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Ingram/146/24/23 Night, all!
  13. Great Banks is offline - two regions below North Wall - is that a new region? Never mind and apologies - I see it was released a while ago.
  14. Just saw this, for anyone interested in DRD's "rustic" furnishings: https://www.seraphimsl.com/2020/06/26/50-off-at-drd/
  15. It may be a bit early, but if you're starting to collect furniture for the stilt houses, it's worth visiting Trompe L'Oeil for their current Stay At Home Club gift (free). Note that the Trompe gifts change so these may not be available in a couple of weeks. As ever with their chairs, many different patterns and colors are included; both styles include fabric and leather options, with lots of PG animations.
  16. This ENTIRE ROOM SET is on sale for 50 Linden Friday today at Lisp. The whole thing for only 50L - go!!!! Edit: This is still available for 50L at 5:30am SL time, Saturday.
