Calling cards give you the profile, you can open the profile of the person and read it..you also have access to their unique avatar ID number, and I guess a hacker or someone who really wants to find you can after that. Your calling card is given them when you become friends. And, it stays on the calling card list after you unfriend them like theirs will stay in yours. I am sorry that you are having this issue.. I hope it clears up for you!

Tarani is correct, there is no way to look good for everyone due to the variables. CalWL is a great windlight to run SL at low graphics and still have things look pretty and decent. Not everyone wants or needs to see shadows all the time either I personally only wan them for when I am doing photos, and only for certain types. Running SL at low, med or high graphics is everyone's personal choice, so really that is neither a good or bad suggestion, just an alternative option. In this case, not using the neck sheath is a good start!

Not really clear as to what you mean.. do you mean you want to get a new body/head? And what do you mean by communities? Perhaps if there is more clarification we may be able to help some more?

The link above that Morgan posted is a great start.. I'd suggest also searching up Strawberry Sing on Youtube and see the videos she has posted on bodies and heads; you might find some good tidbits there and at least get a good idea of what you can find. My personal reccomendation is to check out the main bodies--Maitreya, Belleza, Slink-- and then try demos of them. I also highly suggest the Tonic body as well. My personal reccomendation is the Maitreya body. Easy of use, great HUD, and incredible amount of clothes made for it are all pluses. The head that you purchase will be very much a personal choice. I own several from LOGO, Catwa, and LAQ as well as Lelutka. All have pluses and minuses. The LAQ has lovely animations and the HUD is easy to use. The Lelutka HUD is the best, seamless, low lag and elegant. The Catwa HUD is clunkier but works ok. For me, the Catwa Bento heads have the prettiest profiles and customizations, and you will find specific creations just for Catwa. Again, the one you choose will be up to you and your aesthetics. The heads all have good representation as far as creators, and are all able to now use Omega appliers for skins, which is a great plus. There are plenty of HUDs that you can purchase to lock your eyes in place too.. search on the marketplace for "eye HUD" or "eye lock "

If you have a system avi, you will need an alpha to use mesh eyes. If you have a mesh head, whether its a Bento or non bento, you will need to use the alpha that comes with the head and follow the directions on how to edit your system head for the eyes. Most mesh heads will come with their own eyes, but you can always use mesh eyes, though may have to edit them. Some mesh eyes will also come with huds to edit them and adjust them and move them around, etc. Otherwise, you can do it yourself.
