SSPCI region has appeared on the right of the small SSP regions up north.

Has anyone noticed these new blue waterway spacer guide objects along the side of the east coast of the log homes continent ? More water regions would be lovely. Looks like the Moles are making more progress along the south coast (then heading up northwards) with new homes and new areas being built. Nice new lighthouse in SSPE1149.

It would be nice to see automatic trains across the railway network on the Bellisseria continent. The railway seems pretty quiet at the moment. Within the next few months or so the train tracks will be built over on the log homes continent on the east side. There could be live map boards at each train station. A small selection of trains could work to rez. That would be great fun.

Very sad news its closing down. The ticker board on the wall is the only thing I can see that says its closing. Is there a notecard or announcement about this from the shelter owners ?

Details concerning an acquisition are normally kept under lock until plans are finalized. Ebbe has said that it may take some time before they approve it. I would imagine the lab will put out a blog announcement or press release when it's been completed. Hopefully before the end of the year most likely we will hear more.

Wow that's cool a new hidden area in the falls. Loves new hidden areas. 😍 Bugs searches for carrots but resets the computer instead 😂 Finds loads of cans of drinks and alcohol laying on the desk. Not good for bunnies! There is a supply crate, leaking barrels, plasma balls and much more. I think new area is very beautiful indeed. It's not done yet though. I hope water don't come though

New developments happening on the south part of the log homes continent in SSPE1159 going eastwards. Looks like the Moles are now working on building new homes around the coastline heading north. New Log Homes now in SSPE1159. Imagine living next to the cliff side with the amazing views across the sea. I love this water stream in SSPE1160 below.

I'm thinking November or December time.

At the moment it seems only a tiny amount of regions are running in the cloud on the beta grid. Can you share any ETAs or a realistic timetable on when more regions to be running on AWS? Is everything on track for the uplift to finish on time ? Will this be pushed back into 2021 ? It's good to see the lab making some progress in this area so far.

Philip Rosedale founder of Second Life was on Lab Gab on Friday saying it would be a good thing on the Linden Lab acquisition. It's been a month and it's gone pretty quiet in terms of new updates.

New log homes in SSPE1176 going down south. Wow look at all those new log homes. View from SSPE1177. The blue dotted areas are where the parcel entry/status markers are. There will be more log homes coming in the weeks/months ahead. The log homes continent is still not finished yet.

Log Homes Continent Map Comparison - March 2020 vs July 2020 The Moles have done a great job in adding thousands of new Linden homes since the regions first arrived. The open space gaps are slowly getting smaller now. I think the log homes continent will be completed within the next 3 to 6 months. It will be interesting to see what the Moles plan to do with the coastlines and where the new upcoming LH themes will be placed once the move to the cloud is done. I can't wait for the new train line to be finished. The first batches of regions arrived back in March 2020. Regions appeared over time to form the new continent Back In Mid March 2020 Limited amount of homes available Development was starting to take shape Access was starting to open up As of 24th July Thousands of new homes now built and more in the works New water / lake areas Coastlines ready to be built on Railway tracks to be placed down very soon Exciting times ahead hopefully.

Ebbe says the deal has to close first and it will take some time due to the regulatory process.

I'm not sure if this relates to the SSP regions / bellisseria continent but over on the Second Life Beta grid i have discovered a huge mass of offline regions in the east which may come over the main grid in the near future. All these offline regions have interesting names. Located in the north east corner.

This is the new railway extension marked on the map in red and in blue. On the map it's marked as a green line while the Moles continue to complete the new railway track. Ebbe Altberg says that there are no plans for drainage here and it's great to remain independent. The plan now is the build and grow.

I just wonder about the "bright future" part for Second Life. I wonder what the plans are now!
