I do not trans for 2 reason, 1 noobs try to mod prims and mess it up and many like to make a copy of the object first. 2 you get flooded with people who buy things at yard sales and market place 2nd hand, right after the first owner mod it wrong and it is all messed up ot they do not include all parts and you end up with IMs wanting parts the first owner kept for free. If people ask me I offer clothing that is transfer but it is on request only.

I have found if you are not willing to post the code here getting help can be tuff (but never impossible) I do a lot of scripting and I kind of sort of get what you are trying to say,Here is a fact I can answer for you,As a builder and owner of a few shops I know how short dead lines work and the reality of being to far behind to catch up and have a smooth release.Sounds like with less then a week away I would say ditch the idea and move on,you can save it for a later build.

The reality of any market is it will always grow and get better,I would image that means still upgrading,chip sets all the normal things that get out dated in a few years. The truth is I dout we will ever see a stop for the need to update.The fact are if every one said "OK that is it,this is where we will stay for now on as far as tech " well there be a lot of business out of business . SL on my tv..Nothing a svideo cable can not cure for m eI to be honest when I do hook it all up and break out the wireless keyboard and such..it is more of a pain then a value to me and I end up back in my computer chair..

This whole billing problem for some is very odd.It all seems as if it was very unclear how to pay accounts or buy Linden for many,and a over night change from a system that was working well for years.I would imagen when it came down to the bottom line of income any responsible company would make sure it was very clearna nd easy to use when a over night change like that.

I have a ghettoo one I made,it is a sensor that scans the whole sim every 15 mins ,then It creates a list of the names it runs threw a function that looks for listed names ,if it hits one of the names it emails my servers mail the name,time,date and position. I used a simple squirrelmail script to post in a java plug in that is mail to text blog post to a page I can only access. End result I get their name and location in a log every 15 mins ,Add a simple php script that checks the list every 24 hours and saves to data base first running threw a filter of rules .It will only post to db if they did their full shift(I have their shifts preset as the rules,this is per AV name).It saves the names that did not fall in the filter of rules to a new level so I have a log of the real amount of time there where in the sim .last step it emails my gmail account the name and log of the personthat did not work the agree shift. That is how I made mine,I am sure its not the way it should be done,but I am a unconventional scripter and just make it the best I can.I have fun!! and that is all that matters. You need to know a little PHP,MySql and mail sever functions and scripting.(all of that is on their websites to learn for free) Do I ever really use it? nope...the people that work in our shops are going on years as staff and if they miss a shift or leave early they just make it up when they can.The fact is the best thing you can do is hire people and pay them more then some linden amount on a camping pad. I just explain to people ,are you going to get rich ? nope but this will pay your internet bill every month if you cash it out,and we all need some extra money in life

it has been super wonky in SL the past 3 months for me. Textures,glow,full bright,history all I am having issues with 80% of the time.

sounds neat but a little script heavy. With limits in our future on scripting and making sure we are respectful to the SL environment and keeping scripting use to min being the best way to run these days I am having a hard time trying to understand why a designer that is a capable builder and scripter would what to add a 3rd parties hud to a build. The fact is "if "the Hud OS has a issue the person making a app would have to explain every time to a buyer needing support that it is the huds isuue and not the app makers. It adds spots on the game view as well to have to work around. I think what I am saying is the apps look like they take a skilled scripter to make them and SL offers us a OS with cache and all its own bugs to run funtions on,so what is the need in this? we have a OS to run apps (any hud made or script is a app of the SL platform)

for th record I have no idea if what worked for me will work for you.So please only delink at your own risk. If you made every part,animation and this is 100% kit free this can be a sim issue and you might be stuck.Always,Always,Always make bac up coppies of builds you are working on!!! SL can not be the most stable place at a time they are repairing or updating things and you can loose things on the ground,perms get wonky and many other strange things can happen.AS a rule I make a copy every time I finish a task in a build and delete the last one so its not confusing. I been working on a new baby for a month,it intails AOs,Animations,Huds ,sculpted prims and I can say I have run into some hard working days in SL this month.good luck and make back ups as you build!!!

Log into a adult sim and offer them a TP is a fast easy way. If you are worried about some ones real status you can do 2 simple things.TP them to a adult sim and mic check them.If they have some reason they can not use a mic (come on ,mics cost as little as 5 dollars these days) or they refuse to just enter a adult sim the might not be what they say they are.

yes,I been working on a new build.The build is a baby it has scripting and prim work.All the prim work my partner made and in the form of full perm maps.All the scripting I made from scratch.I took it into my inventory to box it ...and it was no trans..I was like wtfarooooo...I rez it againa it was still no trans...So I delinked it all thinking some how I linked a prim laying around that was not mine..not the case and when I linked it all back..it was once again full perms to me.Very strange and I just wrote it off as a SL bug,seen to many not too.

You must read and understad the Toss,it states Linden Labs will not get involved in thingslike this.The fact is some one took your money and ran ..sad but true sorry that happent you and all I can say is they will not do anything as its stated in the rules you are on your own in SL when it cose to give any one linden dollars.Rule of thumb when renting large amounts of land.just buy a island off Linden Labs.

taht is normaly a SL blitch you can wait out. try rebooting your OS,clear catch and all the normal things and just wait it out if it happens.

you never know,I lost a lot one time in the same way..Then about 3 weeks later I log in one day to a return of it all!! to bad I had rebought all my dance animations ..

The owners of the group can turn that off.So just feel they should share the cost,some have no clue how to run a group.talk to the group owner to solve it.

I do not under stand why you can not use the scripting that is 100% open source on sl wikis scripting library,it is what you are asking for.

See it coming months ago when they first started talking about it.I my self use my SL income to pay my living cost and do not have the ability to tell the places I have bills with "oh sorry SL is taking 9 days this time...." So I for months I have worked out a cash out weekly program I do so by the end of the month I have my normal amount I set my self up a couple of months ahead of my bills so there is no close calls.
