I have no idea what on earth you're talking about here. I voiced my own personal opinion of where I prefer living in SL. I never said anything against anyone. Consistency has nothing to do with preferences. I have moved for many reasons; landlords pulling out from owning the property, being griefed by megaprims, being harrassed by neighbors, not having the money to support land at any point in time, etc. I've lived on several Mainland areas - some have been great, some not so much. I settled where I am for probably close to 2 years now because it is run by a friend, and many of my friends already lived there. Good friends, some I've now met in RL. I've known Xerxes probably since I arrived in SL nearly 10 years ago. I'm one of the core group of people in that group from the very beginning. Not good friends, but everyone in the Forum Cartel were friendly with each other back then.

Oh and maybe Lionheart Estates also. I lived there for nearly a year and was very happy there also.

Try Neva Estates. Not sure how much they are but the little plot comes with a nice house, and other items and it appears to be a good community to live in. Or Willowdale Estates for lots w/nothing on them other than the landscaping the landlord provides. Quite primmy, but one can send it back to her to free up prims. She is a great landlord, I lived there for quite a while and Ghosty is there now. It's a very quiet sim also, and you can build in the air. I think G is paying about $25 a month for a 2097 lot, and gets 1250 prims (it's double prims for everyone now). It's also really lovely. I guess it depends on what you want to spend but seems most private estates are way overpriced so one really needs to look around. I can't even imagine living on Mainland anymore although plenty still do.

Actually they aren't technically matching. All 3 are different manufacturers. We just happen to have similar tastes so they wound up looking like they go together. I know years ago doing a matching set was the thing, but most people I know now just get what they personally like. If you're both happy with the bands, that's all that matters!

Update - picked up one of YS&YS appliers. They are one of my favorites, so I already had the body appliers. The one I got is for the Eva head, but looks great on the Sofie. Neck is perfect and the skin is gorgeous.

Thank you also Chic. Gotta love Berry for having answers to everything! I'm going to take your advice to search out other skins for Genesis. I used to have several, but had tossed them into the trash since they were a bit on the older side. As for the Windlight, I am using these other heads primarily for photo purposes, not walking around socializing so I can manage to correct it with editing but obviously would prefer if it just looked right from the start!

Thanks Skell. You may be right about the dates appliers were created. I don't think they have been updated in a while. Writing the creator is a great idea - which I'll do for sure. I also have a Belleza mesh body, pretty old though so I'll go over and see it it's been updated. I liked Maitreya more so haven't used in in at least a year. I do have to say the male Belleza is really nice, so maybe the female body has been upgraded since purchased. Fairly sure I have a TMP also (possibly a Slink as well) so I'll see what happens with those also.

So, I'm no noob when it comes to mesh heads, including Bento. I have more than several of them, although I wear Lelutka's Simone nearly always. I swap out others mostly only for photo shoots. I'm now playing around with the Genesis Lab Sopie head which was is a recent Gatcha. Love her look, it has that "feels like me" appearance which is how I also feel about the Simone head, but can not get the neck color to seamlessly match the color of the head. I am using Genesis appliers for my Maitreya body with the matching head skin color. I've tried using the Lara HUD neck fix, to no avail. To my eye it's ridiculously unmatched. I've also tried using other skin such as Pumac. I know lighting can help and I've tried all the Windlights which tend not to cast shadows, this does not work either. Any other tips/tricks? Other than wearing a turtleneck shirt all the time? I know this isn't just a problem I'm having as I've read others complain about it also.

Ghosty and I might be able to pop in. I don't belong to the Cartel anymore (alas, gave up my ***** status) but Ghosty is still a member and we both enjoy seeing old and new friends.

In the future all you need to do it click on the avatar, and in the pie chart click on "more" then, "inspect" It will bring up a whole list of what objects the person is wearing. Easy to figure out from there.

I was so shocked to see you log on a week or so ago. I don't have very many oldbees on my friends list anymore - I haven't been part of the Cartel for years. But certain ones are there; you, Feline (who I'm now friendly with in RL), Marianne, Lindel are some of the few. I just don't socialize much there. I am in usually just to shop and take photos. RL is far too busy these days although weekends I do tend to come in for long periods of time. It's nice to see you again though Lil EDIT: OMG I FORGOT TO ADD MAUREEN TO THAT LIST!!! /feeling stupid

Thanks Skell. I was considering it for my male alt. I've been sorely disappointed with most male appliers - most are far too youthful in appearance. I never liked younger men I purchased Sean to match the previous L'Etre body applier I have (Golden) and it worked out perfectly. I'm much happier with his appearance now.

@Skell Dagger The first photo, top left, has a David Bowie look to it. What brand applier did you use if you don't mind handing out beauty secrets?

I'm almost in world 10 years. My current inventory is about 40k, maybe a bit less. I've been unmerciful about getting rid of really old things that don't work any longer. I've kept a handful of system clothing mainly for photo purposes. A couple of years back a friend did a before and after of avatars art exhibit and it really came in handy having a few old outfits, hair and shoes. My inventory is a semi-mess. I try hard to organize it now and then, purging duplicates, etc. Had I only knew how much I'd have 10 years later I would have started to keep it in order better. My alts inventory are much neater but also, have a lot less stuff since they don't have a home. My shopping weakness really is landscaping and house related. I try hard these days only to buy things that I must have. I don't even change clothing all that much unless working on a photo. I've had on the same Blueberry leggings and shirt & Gos shoes for weeks now.
